As Violet packs her clothes into a large trunk, she can't help but feel sad. She's getting ready to have dinner with four different families and she'll be the only one there without her parents. Her parents who haven't cared to check up on her or even show up to apologize. She relates to Astoria's sister, the one who got shunned and abandoned by her family. It's as though her parents never had her, clearly it didn't hurt her mother to leave another child a second time.

She misses how life was back in France and her life at Beauxbatons. Everything was so much simpler and everyone was happy and unproblematic. Hogwarts has drained every last bit of happy French girl out of Violet and she can't seem to get it back. Even her accent is draining and she feels like she's becoming yet another normal British person.  She's become the person she once feared of becoming and it's eating her inside.

"Are you ready?" Jeans voice grabs her attention and she looks up from her trunk and towards her dorm door. Since Jean is a Ravenclaw he is allowed to be in her room. "Everyone is waiting outside the common room for you."

Violet gulps and nods her head as she rushes to stuff the remaining clothes into her trunk, not caring about neatness. "I'm ready." She whispers as she shuts the trunk and walks over to Jean, locking her arm with his and walking out of her dorm room. "Say Jean, what's it like? Dinners with the Notts, Malfoys, and Pucey's?"

Jean breathes in before answering, almost as if those words refresh him. "It's so fun, but mostly because it feels like we're people who need their own reality TV show." He gains a laugh from Violet and continues explaining the feeling. "Most of the time, the grown ups end up arguing over their relationships. Meanwhile, us kids are recording most of it and editing funny parts."

"That actually sounds delightful." Violet leans her head on Jeans shoulder and smiles brightly at him. "I can't wait to meet your parents."

"It's about time." Draco is standing with Cressida, Thomas, and Scorpius outside the doors of the Hufflepuff common room. "Dinners in forty minutes and apparently you all need to get dressed. You all look like you just woke up."

Violet and Draco both avoid looking at each other in front of everyone and just look down at the ground. Neither of them can get caught staring, especially not by Scorpius.

"Well, we kind of just did." Cressida retorts back, setting her phone aside so she can give Draco a big attitude. "What do you expect, it's our vacation Friday."

Draco rolls his eyes and ignores Cressida as he takes a portkey out of his pocket. A gold bar that probably costs more than anything. They all reach forward, grabbing the gold bar and letting all of their hands touch. Even Violets and Draco's which causes both of them to finally look at each other before the portkey starts to spin.

They all land on their feet once the spinning stops and Violet quickly lets go of the bar, not wanting to hold on another second. Draco doesn't say anything else to any of them but instead walks into the house while fixing his black suit. Now that she's thinking about it, she's never seen him wear anything but black.

"Violet!" Cressida's voice pulls Violet back into focus and she realizes everyone has already gone inside and she was frozen while staring at the door. "Come on, let's get ready so that this dinner starts and finishes earlier."

She takes a hold of Violets hand and leads her inside, where immediately Violet hears laughs and chatter coming from the dining room. The same dining room where Theo and her had that interaction. Cressida yelps when she almost gets hit on her head by a ladder which is being used by a man to change the foyer chandelier.

"You're a fucken wizard –" Cressida kicks the ladder and fixes her newly straightened hair. "– use a fucken wand, you don't need this gigantic ladder!"

Heels click on the marble floor towards the girls and they both turn. "Cressida, go upstairs now!" Pansy shouts and points towards the top of the stairs with an angry face. "Disrespect someone in this house again and I'll fucken slap you."

Cressida scoffs and yanks Violet up the stairs with her before Violet can get a chance to introduce herself. Pansy is very pretty; she can see where Cressida gets her looks from. Thomas looks like Theo and Cressida looks like Pansy. Violet now knows why both Theo and Adrian were interested in Pansy.

"She's such a fucken bitch." Cressida growls as her and Violet enter her room, which stuns Violet at how pretty it is. "All the time, telling me what to do like she actually cares! She's never around and when she is, she's a total bitch or doesn't act like a mom!"

Violet takes a seat on Cressida's enormous bed which is covered in black sheets and pillows. She looks around at the entire room and realizes that almost everything is black. What's the deal with all black lately?

"I'm not going to defend her." Violet sighs and starts taking her clothes off so she can get ready. "I have no idea what she's like so, I'll just stick with you on this one."

Cressida rolls her eyes and walks over to her vanity to look at herself. "Merlin's beard, I'm getting wrinkles from all of this fucken drama!" She grabs a concealer and puts some under her eyes before spreading it with her fingers. "I'm not much on makeup, because I'm naturally hot. But lately I've been needing it."

Violet purses her lips with confusion and decides to ignore that comment and pull a white, skin tight dress out of her trunk. She assumes that a dinner where multiple, wealthy families gather is a dinner wear a dress is required.

As she pulls the dress over her body, she feels the material squeeze her breasts into noticeable cleavage and she exhales. The think spaghetti straps wrap around her shoulders and go on for a while until it stops just low enough for the top of her breasts to be seen and admired The dress sits in the middle of her thighs, causing bending over to be a risk but one she's willing to take tonight.

"So?" Violet walks forward to Cressida who is still in front of her mirror. She extends her arms out to model the dress and Cressida's jaw drops. "How do I look?"

"You look like you better walk away from me before I kiss you." Cressida walks to her wardrobe and opens it, searching through and assortment of dresses. "Seriously, I'm too gay to look at you right now. You look hot."

Violet blushes at the compliment, acting like she herself wouldn't jump at the chance of hooking up Cressida. "I'll see you downstairs then." She laughs as she finishes putting her white, strapped heels on and walks to the door. "Love you Cressida."

"Get out!" Cressida shouts back with a faked wail. "You're breaking my heart right now!"

Violet laughs and shuts the door behind her, walking through the corridor and tucking her straight hair behind her ears an leaving the rest behind her back. She remembers when she was little how her mother used to explain how hair is the most important thing when it comes to looking good. It was one of the things that her mother told her and was right about. Hair brings everything together.

As Violet enters the dining room, both Theo and Draco turn to look at her and she gulps nervously. "I finished earlier than everyone else." She feels her chest start to rise and sink fast and she tries to calm down. "Is it okay if I sit here?"

"Of course." Theo gasps and pulls a chair out at the end of the table. The chair which is for someone important to sit on the other end of him but right now it's for her. "You can take this seat."

Violet takes a seat and she smiles widely when she sees what appears to be Jeans parents holding a baby in their arms. Jeans dad is actually very attractive but he seems to be very happy with his wife.

"Would you like to hold her?" Luna asks when she catches Violet smiling at the baby. "Her name is Annalise."

"Yes, please." Violet gasps with excitement and leans forward, taking the baby girl from Luna's arms. She holds the newborn in her arms and smiles down at her, talking to her. "Annalise, you have such a beautiful name. It's as beautiful as you and your mommy, yes."

Draco, Theo, and even Adrian are all staring at Violet with their mouths open and their drinks held midway towards their lips. There's something about her that just drives all of them insane. She's a normal girl but she's also so interesting to them. They think she looks gorgeous carrying a child, but it's too late for them anyway.

"How many months is she?" Violet finally looks away from the baby and looks up at Luna who is smiling at the both of them.

She looks back at Violet and gets excited about baby talk. "She's five months and three weeks. I had her early but she was healthy and so beautiful."

"Oh, a baby!" Cressida shouts from behind Violet and reaches over, taking Annalise from her arms and cuddling her. "She's so cute! I'm going to be such a cool aunt to her."

There's scattered murmurs of disagreement and laughs through out the room and Cressida rolls her eyes at them. Seeing Cressida with a baby like that makes Violet realize what a great mom she's going to be one day. She's realizing how great parents all of them are going to be. They're learning from their parents mistakes and they won't make the same ones with their children.

**********

Dinner has started and the entire table has been silent since the moment everyone sat down. Violet feels as though it has something to do with Pansy and Adrian being here because of what Cressida said. That they never come to family dinners.

"This steak tastes raw." Cressida finally breaks the silence with something that can cause an argument. She spits the meat into a napkin and tosses it aside with a disgusted face. "Do we have salad?"

Theo rolls his eyes and rests his hand on the table. "The steak is supposed to be raw, Cressida." He breathes heavily and snaps his fingers in the air, causing Elaine to appear with a smile on her face as usual. "Bring my daughter a fresh salad, will you?"

"Of course, Mr. Nott." She smiles pounces her way in her short maid outfit, causing Theo to lick his bottom lips as he watches her leave.

Pansy notices and she shakes her head, almost as if she's been expecting that for the longest and this just proved her point. Draco and Astoria are holding hands on the table for everyone to see. It's like Astoria is trying her hardest to make everyone see that their relationship is happy and sunshine but it's making it more obvious that it isn't.

"Violet darling." Pansy covers her mouth as she finishes chewing and Violet looks up, her heart beating fast. "Where are you from? Thomas and Cressida haven't told me anything about you."

"I'm from France." Violet replies and sets her cutlery down so she has no distractions. "I'm sure everyone knows that after the article that was published about my family and I."

"Don't pester the girl Pansy, you're better when you're quiet." Theo scoffs as he chugs the rest of his whiskey and slams his glass on the table. "Instead lets talk about how the one task I gave you for the ball has been failed to be met."

Everyone at the table drops their cutlery and groans, knowing that this is going to break into an argument. This seems to be normal for all of them, almost like a routine. It looks like Jean wasn't lying when he said they need a reality TV show.

"No one wants to perform at a ball for only pure-bloods." Pansy shouts and points her finger at Theo's face. "Especially when the host is a former Death Eater!"

"Like we had a choice." Draco retorts and it causes Astoria to pinch his arm and scold him.

Theo reaches over the table to shout directly in Pansy's face and everyone backs up, preparing for things to be thrown. "I need one performance! You're an at home wife with no responsibilities, what else is taking up your time that you can't interview a dozen more people and find me someone!?"

"I can do it." Violet interrupts, hoping to calm the tension she isn't used to. Everyone turns to look at her and they all wait for her to continue with shocked faces. "I can shoot a bow and arrow perfectly...with my feet. I know it sounds weird but I started practicing after getting bored of shooting it with my hands."

Pansy raises her glass of wine towards Violet and chugs it before cocking her head. "Problem solved." She throws Violet a wink and looks back at Theo. "Thank the girl Theo, she just saved your ass."

Theo looks across the table, staring Violet straight in the eyes and gives her a smirk. "Thank darling." He takes in more of his drink and raises his glass to Violet. "You just saved my ass."

Running heels stomp on the ground and Elaine comes into the room without Cressida's salad. Instead, she has a Daily Prophet in her hand and she's running towards Theo. She bends down, whispering something in his ear and he looks at Violet and Draco and jolts up from the table.

"Violet, Draco." He clears his throat and signals them to follow him. "Follow me."

Violet looks around with confusion and proceeds to stand up and follow Theo and Elaine out of the dining room. Astoria tries to follow them but the doors shut behind everyone else, not letting her pass the doorway.

They all walk towards Theo's office with Elaine stomping angrily as she clenches the paper in her hand. Violet has no idea what's going on or why they would so openly leave in the middle of dinner in front of everyone. Whatever happened has to be very important for this to have happened.

As they enter the office, Theo rages and throws everything off his desk. It causes Violet to jolt with fright and she steps back against the door, waiting for something worse to happen so she can leave.

"Your mother is killing me with her columns!" Theo shouts and tosses the paper at Violet, causing Draco to enrage and grab Theo by his collar. "Read it before you protect her!"

Violet pulls Draco back and steps in front of Theo. "Whatever my mother says or does has nothing to do with me!" She huffs and looks down at the paper, reading what her mother wrote. "Give me a second to read this and we'll talk."

Underground bunker is the new hiding spot for the people who destroyed the world twenty years ago. The hero of the story once again, Harry Potter, the Auror who discovered not one but two hundred Death Eaters meeting in an underground bunker. He describes the bunker as a dark place where they were performing rituals to bring back the Dark Lord himself. All two hundred of them fought to get freedom and caused two of our men of the ministry to lose their lives. Harry Potter, the only man left alive from our side left the bunker with one hundred and fifteen Death Eaters; all of which are now being sentenced to death in our courtroom.
It leaves crowds wondering if even after the Dark Lord is gone, is anyone really safe? Is it safe for our children to be friends with the children of former ones as well? Hundreds have gathered outside the Ministry of Magic claiming that once a Death Eater, always a Death Eater. What do we have to say about the two former Death Eaters on our side? Theodore Nott and Draco Malfoy? How are we sure that they aren't working from the inside? We need our world safe again. Let's do something about it.

Violet sets the paper down and buries her face into the palms of her hands. Her mother may have just ruined the lives of everyone in this house. She ruined their lives with two paragraphs on the front page of a famous newspaper. How could her mother be so insensitive towards the lives of her daughters friends? Towards the lives of the only people that are looking out for Violet!

"I have nothing to do with this." Violet protects herself and looks at Draco and then back at Theo. "I would never do anything like this to either of you! After everything you've done for me, this is insane!"

Before Theo can respond, he's cut off by shouts and the sound of glass breaking outside. All four of them run out of the office and Violet stops all of them when she sees a group of protesters outside the Manor with sticks of fire.

"This is barbaric!" Astoria shouts as she looks at Violet and everyone else from the kitchen. No one is stepping into the foyer because they're afraid of getting lynched or caught on fire. "I just got a call that there are more of them outside our home Draco!"

"Mate!" Blaise shouts from the kitchen. "If you two can find another place to stay, we can cause a distraction and I'll take everyone else to Zabini Manor!"

Violet turns to Theo and then back to Draco. "You can both stay with me at the flat." She suggests and yelps when another rock is thrown at the stained glass. "Give me your answers now because this is getting worse!"

"We have a place to stay!" Draco shouts back and looks at Astoria. "I'll call you when I'm safe!"

She blows a kiss his way and Draco and Theo grab Violets arms, apparating with her. It's only a matter of time before something happens to the Zabini's, all the families have been hit.
