Chapter 29
Sigma rule #29
Stand on your words.

Jungkook, along with Namjoon, made his way into the hospital frame. The younger examined the place exceedingly well. He observed some nurses beaming at him, murmuring things to one another. The male clumsily rubbed his collar, feeling too many eyes on him.
It was until he discovered his brother standing by the receptionist's counter, swapping remarks with the lady behind the desk. Namjoon grinned at his fiance, who turned around solely to swing his hand in the air. With the two lunchboxes in their hands, the fellows promptly pushed their way towards the eldest of them.
"Hey.." Namjoon barely whispered in a slender flirtatious manner, inducing Jungkook to cough out loud. "Hey, handsome. What treatment would you like to have?" Jin, neglecting his little brother, shuffled adjacent to his fiance, somewhat tucking his fingers into his jacket.
"I can't breathe," Namjoon blurted, unabashedly causing Jungkook to widen his eyes. As their marriage date was approaching, these individuals were dropping all of their shame. The fellow, in distrust, shook his head before coughing noisily to draw their attention to him.
Jin comically rolled his eyes at his younger brother. "You guys are shameless," the younger alpha exclaimed, viewing his surroundings to make sure people did not notice. "Says who," Jin pressed, overly controlling his amusement. "The one who carried forward a love demand list in front of everybody," Jin snorted at his own comment.
And oh god! Jungkook was red as a strawberry now. Why can't his brother stop embarrassing him in the public? Jungkook hid his face behind his palm when he spotted the receptionist staring at him after the former words.
"Look at you today, huh!? All shy?" Jin was determined not to end here. He chose to see his brother all frustrated. "I couldn't even sleep last night. You kept on puking at me. Take this as a punishment," the former side hugged his mate after proclaiming.
"Puking?" Jungkook, peeping from the midst of his fingers, sought back. "Yeah, I was taking you home, but you kept on puking at me, claiming that I am taking you away from Taehyung. Awful! It was so awful, the smell was so awful," Jin scrunched his nose in distaste. It was subsequently the same minute when Jungkook, out of habit, mirrored the same expression.
"Now that you two are done bickering, can we eat? I'm starving," Namjoon expressed with a mild smile. "Sure," Jin acknowledged with the same smile. "Okay then, lesgo to the lunchroom," the elder Alpha uttered as he appeared to lead their way, but paused the very next moment—
"Why are you following me like a lost puppy? Go call your mate! Shoo," Jin mockery scowled at the young boy before rushing towards the canteen, holding Namjoon's palm.
Jungkook sulked to himself. He was hungry too! How can they just leave him in such a big hospital to look for his mate?
.
.
Jungkook smiled as he observed his mate. Though he did not want to. Though he wished to be mad at him yet, he couldn't hold back the smile on his lips at the way Taehyung was reaching out to some aged patients. His eyes spoke so freely, spoke that this is what he cherish the most.
Nevertheless, Jungkook assumed himself to be jealous, but wasn't. That smile Taehyung held over his lips, the way the corner of his eyes curled themselves, induced the alpha to exhale with a bare tint of blushiness. At this point, Jungkook was adequately aware that his companion loved his passion as he loved him.
But. That did not produce him to be sad. His passion wasn't ever the cause of Jungkook's discontent and aguishness. It was his remarks that were the root of his grief. Those words that were driven across the seas merely to hit him right in his heart.
To be virtuous, Jungkook undoubtedly desired an explanation for those words. What induced him to say all of that to him? But the alpha wouldn't force him. He might've asked Taehyung to lend him a little space and time to forgive him— candidly, no. Jungkook did not desire any time instead, he was giving the elder the time.
The time to gather up all the courage to confess and reveal what actually happened that day and why did he not reach him for all these five years? Jungkook might be tedious at times, but he isn't foolish. The boy had recently discovered a bunch of details in the elder one that maybe before; he did not.
It's might be for others that the majestic eyes carried nothing but confidence, but recently the younger has happened to identify bits of vulnerability in them. He doesn't perceive how, but his instincts have been genuinely active lately. At first, the alpha never saw Taehyung's flaws, but he does not recognize how he can see through him now.
Though he decided to pretend that he did not hear it— it was that other day when they were together in Jungkook's room. The younger had heard his companion whimpering during the midnight. He heard him whispering something that he couldn't interpret. And to his astonishment, as promptly as he hugged him in sleep, his whimpers faded away. Quiet intriguing.
Jungkook was serenely peering at the elder one. He tracked him until he found him searching around. The younger instantly realized that the former had seized his scent. He turned around urgently, hiding beside the translucent door of the commoner's hall
Taehyung was at the commoner's hall to interact with a few people, since he will be starting to work here soon.
"Koo?" Jungkook was startled by the deep voice of the Sigma in the hushed hallway. The silence implied immensely considerable to break it, however, Taehyung does not seem to mind it at all.
"You here?" Taehyung asked in a gentle manner. The younger found himself frozen. The images from last night were so— ahhh—he wished to yeet himself at this point. "Wait a minute, yaa?" Taehyung insanely beamed before dashing into the hall again.
Jungkook was utterly red in embarrassment. It was maybe the nurses who were scanning them, or maybe yesterday's incident. The male just craved to disappear at this point. He demanded to holler and bury himself in his own grave.
"Here it is," Taehyung murmured, keeping forward the two cupcakes he was holding down on his palms. "What- "Jungkook barely whispered. "I- uhm? you don't remember?" Taehyung inquired softly, relaxing his brows. "What do you mean?" Jungkook buzzed again as he captured the miniature sight of his sigma, who was smiling at him tenderly.
And this kinda disappointed Jungkook, as this brought about that Taehyung was still remaining on his terms. He was not upholding any of the skinship lately. He was still giving him the space and time while not intruding on his personal space.
And Jungkook appeared to not need that. He despised it. He wished Taehyung to interfere with his personal space again and again because assuredly, they shared the same space.
Jungkook was upset. He was craving for Taehyung's scent on him since morning, one of the reasons why he got into his sweatshirt this dawn. Nevertheless, there was no alternative way Jungkook was giving in without knowing his reasons.
He yearned for Taehyung's scent over him. He craved to feel that fizzy feeling, those butterflies and more certainly Jungkook was seeking for Taehyung's skinship.
The two nibbling their lips stiffly stood in front of one another. Extremely embarrassed to meet one another's eyes. The air seemed so tensed up, so clogged up with a foreign feeling. Taehyung cleared his throat before commencing to brush his nape, before rumbling, "Step number seven from yesterday."
The younger did not know how to react to that. He appeared not know how to negotiate with the heavy breath he was holding down. Taehyung was actually following that list— to make him his again? The Alpha did not know how to respond, and to his relief, his phone rang.
It was Jin, who was urging them to show up at the canteen without consuming another minute.
.
.
.
.
It was just Jin and Namjoon, who continued talking while the two patiently ate their food, exchanging glimpses from time to time. Strange how the ones who keep talking were silent today.
"Uhm. I'm leaving to go home with Joonie. Taehyung, you better hurry up! You approximately have two hours in your hand. Just shop for the clothes for the ceremonies and meet us straight at the train terminal," Jin hesitated as he quietly darted his gaze to his younger brother.
"And Jungkook... you will help Taehyung to make him wind up as speedily as possible!" The younger had this enormous impulse to argue with his elder brother due to two reasons. The initial one was because of the authoritative tone and the second one was—the tension between him and his mate.
The fellow elected to stay quiet. He then nodded to his brother before averting his gaze towards his Sigma, who was gulping the water through the bottle.
So alluring.
Jungkook swallowed his saliva. He gawked at his fluttering throat. The way a bid pearl-like water drove its way out of the bottle merely to travel across his skin. He was pulled out of his thoughts when he received the former staring back at him while wiping off the bid of the water from a tissue.
The younger earnestly looked away, not really noticing the elder ones sharing looks as if they were planning something.
.
.
.
Thereafter, Namjoon, along with Jin, left the place while Taehyung and Jungkook made their way towards the car.
"Give me the keys, lemme drive to a nice place," Jungkook called out asking for the keys, planting his right palm in front of the elder. "whatever you say, baby," the former responded, passing him the keys.
The flashbacks...
The flashbacks. The memories. These weren't cooperating at all. He still looks back at the way they used to roam around in Taehyung's car. He still remembers the day when he first went to their shared apartment.
As the car began to move, Jungkook couldn't help but peer at the figure next to him from the corner of his eyes. It feels like yesterday.. everything was alright.
But considering everything will be alright soon wouldn't hurt, right?
.
.
.
.
Taehyung followed his alpha mate like his tail all around the mall. "Gucci Gucci Gucci," chanting Taehyung's favorite brand, Jungkook strolled around in search of a specific showroom. He grinned to himself, not really addressing his attention to the one who was standing right beside him now, gawking.
Taehyung stared down, struggling to suppress his own smile. "Hello sir, how can I help you?" as promptly as Jungkook lowered his mask, a grasp left the female's lip. "Oh my god, welcome to our store Sir Jungkook. Would you like to have any juices? oh no- sir, would you like to have some banana milk?" Jungkook bit his lips. This day for him should be named as embarrassment day.
What will Taehyung think of him? That he is still a baby, who still loves banana milk? noo. On the other hand, the lad appeared to say no to the banana milk. Ahh, what a great situation. The Alpha turned towards his mate, who affectionately grinned at him before somewhat caressing and ruffling his hair like he was a golden retriever.
"Don't overthink it. Just take it and pay them. We don't privilege now, do we?" Taehyung softly proclaimed. Shortly, the two began to go around choosing three red outfits for the elder.
Corresponding to werewolf tradition, Sigmas had to wear red, and Alphas had to wear black during the marriage and its ceremonies.
Keeping the cowboy theme of the marriage day in mind, Jungkook drew up Taehyung's ultimate day outfit. While the latter was searching for suits in the other corner. It was simply a minute thereafter when the younger found his mate speaking way too much with the female who was presenting him the suits.
Seemingly, the elder did not even talk much to him today and now here he is talking about something or someone which suggested to be way too striking to him than his own mate. Jungkook poked his inner cheek from his tongue.
And was then when his eyes fell upon a black impeccably crisp-looking suit. Jungkook knew what he had to do next.
.
.
.
.
Taehyung was searching around for his mate. The sigma held the bags of his two selected suits in his arms as he continued glancing around, ultimately winding up in front of the changing room. "Jungkook, are you in there?" as soon as the question escaped his mouth, the door was opened by—
The sigma was being lured. The way Jungkook looked in that black suit with the top three buttons open induced Taehyung's eyes to turn hooded. Enticing Taehyung, the mission was accomplished.
And oh Lord Voldemort, that was how Jungkook was pushed further inside the cabinet, arms pinned above his head as Taehyung's other hand wandered towards his midriff, drawing him closer. "Seems like someone wants to tempt me, hmm?" Taehyung muttered dangerously adjacent to Jungkook's lips.
The blush that stretched across Jungkook's face was deeply evident— Taehyung had total control over him. "You like it when I am being a pervert?" The former lifted his brows.
"I never said, I don't," the younger whispered. "Being confident, aren't we?" The sigma chuckled, kissing his earlobe, generating the alpha's breath to go heavy. And abruptly again, this time, Taehyung's phone rang.
It was Namjoon.
"Where are you? We are already leaving for the train station. Y'all better dash up. Also, we have already taken your and Koo's luggage, so don't worry about that, but rush," the male uttered in a breath. "We'll be there soon, Hyung." Taehyung hanged up the phone but his eyes did not leave his Alpha.
He smirked before, "Let's see for how long you can be confident, Alpha."
.
.
.
"What were you talking about to that lady?"
"About how yummy peanut butter is with bread," Taehyung snickered loudly as he drove them to the train station.
Jungkook doesn't have to know. There was no need for him to know about what Taehyung was chatting about. It may or may not be associated with how much his mate loves the color red.
.
.
.
.
The two reached the station on time. And spotted a large group of people standing by the corner, waiting for the Daegu train. It wasn't just the Kims and the Jeons, the group composed of their parent's close colleagues, Jungkook's cousins, and his friends along with his brother's friends. It was the same with Taehyung's family.
Jungkook's eyes twinkled with excitement when he encountered Yoongi between the crowd. The fellow hastily flew up and hugged him. He had not seen the former male for roughly eleven months now. "When did you two come?" the younger charged him and his husband.
Yes, Yoongi and Jimin were married now.
"Yesterday," the eldest of the three asserted. The two lived in Busan now, preferring to spend a tranquil life. They had even purchased a home just in front of the seashore. They were legit goals for Jungkook.
The youngest of them then turned around towards his mate, who was strongly hugging Jimin. The two did not exchange words. Jimin was moderately patting his back. Felt like he was comforting his soulmate. Jungkook certainly wished to question that for some reason, but that was then the train arrived.
.
.
.
Taehyung and Jungkook were called by Jin into their cabinet train room. The two frown-fully looked at the couple who were plundering smirky glances. "mhmm?" the younger alpha suspected.
And the next moment, the two, who were called into the room, grasped the air review the elder ones' words.
"Why us?" Jungkook again sought; Jin, who was perched beside his mate, leaning on the bed, yawned. "Because you guys are our brothers," He exclaimed. "Nooo, I am not doing that! That to, not in front of everybody!!" Jungkook, somewhat in a high tone, grumbled.
It was until he picked up a mocking snort of his mate; okay he is doing this now. How the hell the former mock him? He is doing it!
"Okay, we are doing it- "he paused as he felt his mate leaning to his ears. "And the test is here to check your confidence, my love"
Sword dance; In the werewolf history, sword dance had ever since played an important role. Nevertheless, in today's time, it is used to express how the sigmas and alphas went from rivals in the past centuries to mates in this century. The sword dance here is not just a sheer dance form among the werewolves, it can fairly refer to us as a sensual dance form.
