Welcome back to school, guys!

As you can tell, I changed the name of the school because one of my wonderful students- who shall not be named, even though he probably doesn't know that I'm talking about him- insulted my school continuously "Why is it called school of speaking if we learn different subjects?" "What's the use of this school when we already have school in real life?"

Anyways!

To welcome you back, we're gonna have an English test. Doesn't that sound fun?

Since I have the STAAR Test next week I'm thinking that by making tests I'll be able to prepare myself for the actual STAAR.

Did that make any sense?

Anyway, this test is simple.

Most of them are multiple choice, but when you choose a letter, type out the answer in the comments but not the letter. Then, tell me why you chose that letter.

Some of them will be multiple choice questions based off of a passage from one of my books.

Hidden Pain

'It was how any child could imagine. That is.. before father died. Mother used to smile and be happy until one night they got in a argument and the next day father was murdered by someone. Mother started being WAY more strict. I started writing songs after that when mother wasn't home.' I wrote.

"Sounds like you had a rough childhood. Thank you for your time. Send in Garroth next and wait in the room you came from." She said as I left.

I looked at Garroth and motioned for him to go into her office as I sat down next to where he sat.

Ivy left to get some water and I was stuck with Aaron.

"Why didn't you tell me it was you..?" Aaron asked.

Silence.

Aph.. I know you can talk. I heard you sing." He said and my eyes slightly widened.

I kept quiet and looked down at my hands, my bangs creating a shadow over my eyes.

"What happened to your eye? Why do you always keep it covered? Why don't you talk?" Aaron asked.

Silence.

"Please talk to me."

Silence.

I stood up and faced him.

'Do you REALLY think I'm gonna talk to YOU after you bullied me? You were my BEST friend when we were little. Now all you are is a self absorbed jerk!' I wrote and threw the paper in his face.

"Baka." I muttered and walked away.

I don't care if I get in trouble for leaving.

I just want away from him.

Aaron's Grief

When she spoke her voice was loud and clear.

"Cameron sent you to kill your brother? How about you kill me in his place. I will sacrifice my life in exchange for the safety of my friends." Lily stated, slightly narrowing her eyes at Sigherra.

"You are an enemy. I do not make deals with the enemy. I destroy the enemy." Sigherra said and walked towards Lily, but still, Lily did not move.

"Go ahead." Lily stated firmly. "Kill me. Prove to everyone that you are stronger than your enemies." She said it like a challenge, but her expression was unreadable.

Sigherra continued walking towards Lily, knife in hand.

But Lily didn't look afraid.

"Kill me." She challenged.

Sigherra lunged at Lily with the knife and right before the knife could come in contact with Lily's skin, the knife was knocked from Sigherra's grasp.

"You really aren't trying, are you?" Lily asked. "If you wanted to do as Cameron ordered, I'd be dead by now."

"Shut up." Sigherra growled and grabbed the knife again. "You talk too much."

"Aaron." Ein's voice came weakly, and I saw that Cameron was right behind Ein, a knife to his throat.

"Don't you fucking dare!" I hissed, stepping towards Cameron and Ein.

"Don't move or he dies." Cameron warned, smiling like a clown.

"Aaron!" Lily shrieked, and I turned in time to see her slip off the edge of something that I swore wasn't there a moment before.

I heard her scream pierce through the air as she fell.

It seemed to crack the air around us as the sound of her hitting the ground was heard.

There was silence, then a scream.

Invisible

I leaned back in my chair and sighed.

It's been years and I still haven't been adopted.

I'm honestly losing hope.

Three years until I turn 18 years old.

Three years until the orphanage kicks me out.

I know I won't get adopted, though.

That doesn't just happen.

People don't just adopt a teenage girl who's almost 18.

They get a young, obedient little girl who won't be leaving anytime soon.

I grab a book from the shelf and sit on my creaky bed to read it.

"As our young hero wandered through the forest, she believed with all her heart that everything would be alright. She believed that she would escape the dark and dangerous forest. And so, as she looked to the night sky she saw the North star, guiding her out of the forest..." I read as the caretaker knocked on my bedroom door before opening it just wide enough to pop her head in.

"Ever heard of privacy?" I asked with an eye roll.

"Ever heard of manners?" She asked and we laughed.

"So, what's up?" I asked and closed my book. "I mean, you never come in here unless it's to give me new books, which you obviously haven't, or to tell me something important. So, what's the important thing you need to tell me?"

"There's a family here that would like to ask you a few questions. They're looking to adopt a teenage girl." The caretaker said with a grin.

"I'll be in the questioning room." I said with an eye roll as I opened the door all the way and walked past her and downstairs to the questioning room.

I sat in a chair and waited for the family to come in.

"Hello!" A voice exclaimed and I looked up to see a boy with brown hair and a green scarf poke his head into the room. "I'm Vylad Ro'meave and my parents want to ask you a few things so they can be sure they want to adopt you!"

I grinned slightly and Vylad sat down at the table.

"It's fine Kawaii~chan. I know your just excited. Wait..... YOUR THAT FAMOUS YOUTUBER!!!!! YOUR APHMAU?!" He asked surprised.

"YEP! That's me!" I said smiling.

"Aphmau!!! Hey!" Aaron called from his car since he lives farther from Olive Garden than I do.
