This is the entry for the Poetry Contest for October 2018 - October has Mystique, where we had to write a poem (no genre or style specified) using at least five of the words given: 

Courage, dissonant, eradicate, fortitude, ghastly, ire, lustre, mystique, resounding, sacrifice, solemn, spirit, staccato, trepidation.

Courage, dear heart; courage, little one, 
There is so much to do, so little done.

Conflicting are your thoughts, dissonant others' views, 
Of clarity there is little, and opinions tend to confuse; 
It is up to you, dear, their ignorance to eradicate
Or else suffer and allow them, over you, to dominate.

Courage, dear heart; courage, little one, 
It is natural to fear, just do not run.

Build up your fortitude, or pretend to be brave,
Appearances matter, and accomplishment you crave; 
Ghastly it would be, to snuff your inner fire, 
Follow your dreams, even if you risk everyone's ire.

Courage, dear heart; courage, little one,
Do not give up yet, the journey's just begun.

Sparkle and shine, lending lustre to each day, 
And subtle mystique in your actions do portray; 
You could inspire others, be a resounding success,
Each sacrifice is but a stepping stone to progress.

Courage, dear heart; courage, little one, 
Different you could be, but are second to none.

Solemn would be life's path, lonesome at times, 
Fickle is your spirit too, as it changes with the climes; 
Time is ticking away, slowly, in a staccato incessant, 
Trepidation may sweat you, but mustn't stop your ascent.

Courage, dear heart; courage, little one, 
Each battle you survive, is a battle you have won.

The ambitious me used all the fourteen words, in the order given, to produce the poem above. The title is derived from the quote in the banner.

A/N - The alignment is giving me grief, somehow, the spacing is going haywire, I will see if I can redo the alignment after this contest is over.
