Next day at Shukla house, Sidharth and Shehnaaz were sitting at the living area with their families while the Pandit Ji was matching their horroscope.

After sometime, the Pandit Ji looked at everyone with a serious face making them little scared.

"Kya hua Pandit Ji? Kya dekha aap ne?" Asked Rita Ji being worried.

"Itne saalon se kundaliyan mila raha hoon. Par aisi kundali aaj tak kisi ki nahi dekhi. Maanon bhagwan ne khud upar se inki jodi bana ke bheji hai. Lakhon mein ek hoti hai aisi jodi. Mere hisaab se ab zyada der nahi karni chahiye aur zaldi se ek shubh muharat dekh ke inke chaar haath ek kar dene chahiye."

Pandit Ji's words brought wave of happiness in both the families. They felt happy and blessed while Sidharth and Shehnaaz looked down blushing.

Soon the date of their marriage got fixed.

Ho...ooo...ho...ooo..haan..aaa

It was Sidharth and Shehnaaz's Roka Ceremony. Sidharth was sitting at his place quietly when Shehnaaz walked in wearing a beautiful and gorgeous lehenga. As soon as his eyes fell on her, he forgot to blink and kept looking at her, being mesmerized by her beauty.

Dekha tenu pehli pehli baar ve
Hone laga dil bekaraar ve

Shehnaaz sat beside Sidharth and whispered, "Aap....nahi...Tum.... Tum bohut handsome lag rahe ho."

Sidharth became happy hearing 'Tum".

"Tum hi." He replied blushing.

"Handsome?"

"Nahi matlab... Beautiful!"

Shehnaaz smiled shyly to which Sidharth also blushed.

Rabba mainu ki ho gaya
Dil jaaniye
Main tera hi ho gaya

"Waise kehna padega, Santokh ne heera ladka chuna hai apni beti ke liye. Jitna accha parivaar hai utne hi acche ladke ke sanskar hai. Khush rahegi apni Shehnaaz uss ghar mein." Commented one of Shehnaaz's relative making Santokh Ji proud.

After the elders gave them blessings, it was now time for the ring exchange ceremony.

Sidharth and Shehnaaz were standing in front of each other and he was hesitating to hold her hand.

"Sidharth Beta kya kar raha hai? Anguthi pehna na." Said Rita Ji.

Sidharth took a deep breath and softly hold Shehnaaz's hand and made her wear the ring.

Ho tere aage pichhe ghume sohneya
Jadon tere hath chume sohneya

Shehnaaz then also took Sidharth's hand and made her wear the ring. Everyone started clapping and they smiled whole heartedly as they were now officially engaged to each other.

Mitha mitha jee ho gaya
Dil jaaniye
Haye mainu ki ho gaya

After the ring ceremony was over. Everyone was celebrating Sidharth and Shehnaaz's new beginning by dancing.

Meanwhile Shehbaaz brought Sidharth and Shehnaaz to the dance floor as well.

Main dil tere kadman ch rakha dholna
Main tere aage akhiyan na chakkan dholna

While dancing, their eyes met and they passed each other a beautiful smile.

Je tere te Rabb vichon takna pae
Te phir main tenu hi takkan dholna

Next morning, Sidharth woke up from sleep and saw that Shehnaaz was standing there wearing a beautiful saree. She was wiping her hair with towel. Sidharth smiled being lost in her.

Tu jaddon teri julfan nu kholeya
Mere kolo gaya nahi je boleya

Sidharth got up from the bed and hugged Shehnaaz from behind. Then he turned her around and closed his eyes to kiss her.

Meri tu kami ho gaya
Dil jaaniye

Suddenly he realised that there was no one in his room and he was just dreaming.

"Kya haal kar diya mera tumne Shehnaaz?" He thought blushing and hit his own head.

Aye mainu ki ho gaya

Days passed very fast. Soon Sidharth and Shehnaaz's wedding invitation cards also got printed and they started inviting their relatives one by one.

One day, Shehnaaz was in school when Sidharth called her.

After Shehnaaz picked up the call, he said, "Hello Shehnaaz! Free ho?"

"Tunhare liye? Humesha." She said being romantic.

Sidharth blushed hearing that which Shehnaaz understood.

"Ab sharmate hi rahoge yaa baataoge bhi kis liye call kiya?" She asked further.

"Oo haan. Main puch raha tha ki aaj toh tumhare school mein early leave hai?"

"Hai toh?"

"Toh kya tum school ke baad mere office aaogi? Hum dono saath mein sab ko apna wedding invitation card de denge."

"Haan, yeh accha rahega. Iss hi bahane main tumhare colleagues se bhi mil lungi."

"Toh school ke baad main tumhe lene aa jaata hoon."

"Done."

Saying that, Shehnaaz hanged up.

Later that day, Sidharth picked Shehnaaz up from her school and then took her to his office. There she met with his colleagues and they gave them the wedding invitation cards.

"Tum kaafi lucky ho Shehnaaz jo Sidharth tumhe mila hai. Warna jab se isne office join kiya hai, hum ladkiyon ne toh bohut try maara iss pe. Isne ek ko bhi bhaav nahi diya." Said one of his female colleagues and they all laughed.

Sidharth just smiled at her which Shehnaaz didn't like and gave a forceful smile.

While returning home on Sidharth's bike, Shehnaaz said, "Aaj tumhare office ke doston se mil kar accha laga. Par mujhe waha ki ladkiyan khas pasand nahi aayi. Aage se tum unhe dekh ke zyada muskurana mat."

Sidharth immediately stopped his bike and asked with disbelief, "Kya? Par kyu?"

"Kyu ki mujhe yeh sab nahi pasand. Aur jo mujhe feel hua maine bol diya. Main apni feelings ko chhupa ke nahi rakh paati. Abhi tum mere ho isliye baki ladkiyon se tumhe dur rehna padega. Aur filhaal mera mood bohut kharab hai isliye mujhe film dikhane le chalo."

"Film? Abhi?"

"Kyu? Nahi le jaaoge?"

"Arrey nahi, le chalta hoon. Tum bas naraz mat raho. Mujhe darr lagta hai."

Shehnaaz's anger faded away and she smiled hearing that.

Then she hugged him from behind and said, "Biwi se darna acchi baat hoti hai. I like it."

Sidharth also smiled and started driving while Shehnaaz rested her head on his back.

After reaching the theatre, they bought the movie tickets. Then they went inside and took their seats.

The film began and Shehnaaz became engrossed in the film while Sidharth had no interest in the film and he was only watching his fiancee and adoring her.

Humse pare le jaayiye
Main teri tu mera
Aur nahi kuch chahiye

Suddenly Shehnaaz noticed that Sidharth was watching her in stead of the movie and she couldn't help blushing.

Then Sidharth placed his hand on hers and she looked at him. They both became lost in each other and started coming closer.

Aayiye ji aayiye mere paas itna aaiye
Nazrein milake mere hath chum jaaiye

Suddenly they heard sound of whistles which brought them back to their senses and they immediately moved apart.

Though the situation was little embarrassing, they felt butterflies in their stomach thinking that they were about to kiss each other.

Mainu aisa nasha chadha de dholna
Jo sidha mainu Rabb naal milade dholna
Ho jag diyan nazraan buriyan
Ho sir utton mirchan karade dholna

Soon their Haldi and Mehendi ceremony held in their respective houses. They couldn't meet each other but sent photos of the ceremonies. They wrote each other's names on their hands which gave them another kind of feeling.

Now they both couldn't wait anymore to get married and be each others' forever.

Soon their waiting was over as it was the day of their wedding. Both the families decided that the wedding would be first held at gurdwara according to the sikh culture and then they would get married according to the maharashtrian culture.

In the morning they went to the gurdwara.

They both entered the gurudwara together with their families.

There they sat in front of the guru granth sahib and smiled looking at each other.

While the marriage prayer was being recited, Sidharth and Shehnaaz walked around the guru granth sahib four times.

Taare hain taare teri aankhon ke taare
Maare hain maare teri baaton ke maare

Like this they got married in Punjabi ritual and took blessings from the guru granth sahib.

After that, they got dressed up as maharashtrian groom and bride.

They both came to the mandap and started performing the wedding rituals one by one.

Ho tenu vekh badla ne rang badla
O udde parindeyan ne fang badle
Te chan soche main ki badla

After performing the other rituals, Sidharth made Shehnaaz wear the mangalsutra and filled her hairline with vermillion.

Then they stood up and started walking around the holy fire 7 times.

"Main waada karta hoon Shehnaaz, aaj se tumhare saare sapne pure karne ki zinmedari meri hogi. Jis bharose ke saath tum apni yeh nayi zindagi suru kar rahi ho, main woh kabhi tutne nahi dunga. Tumhe har waqt protect karunga. Koi bhi pareshani tum tak pohuch nahi paayegi. Tumhari aage ki zindagi sirf khushiyon se bhari hogi." Said Sidharth in his mind.

"Main waada karti hoon Sidharth, hum dono ke iss rishte ko main akhir tak nibhaungi. Waqt aur halat chahe kitne bhi muskil kyu na ho, main tumhare saath khadi rahungi. Chahe khushi ho yaa gham, usse tumhare saath baant lungi. Kabhi bhi kisi bhi mod pe tumhara haath nahi chhorungi. Tumse bhi zyada tumhe samajhne ki koshish karungi aur humare iss rishte mein pyaar aur viswas ki kami kabhi nahi hone dungi." Said Shehnaaz in her mind.

With this promise, they both entered into a new life.

Soon Shehnaaz left her home and family and started her new journey with Sidharth.

Sitting in the car, Shehnaaz was crying as she was missing her parents and brother. Sidharth felt a pain in his heart seeing her tears.

He held her hands softly to console her and give her strength while she smiled with teary eyes looking at him with love.

Hone laga dil bekaraar ve
Rabba mainu ki ho gaya

At Shukla house, Rita Ji did Shehnaaz's grihapravesh and welcomed her whole heartedly. After the post marriage rituals were done, Shehnaaz went to their room which was decorated beautifully for their first night.

She was sitting on the bed silently when Sidharth entered the room and closed the door from inside. He went towards the bed when suddenly his eyes fell on the empty glass which was kept on the table.

Shehnaaz noticed it and said, "Woh doodh bohut tasty lag raha tha isliye maine pura pee liya. I'm sorry."

"Arrey it's ok. Waise bhi mujhe doodh pasand nahi hai." Said Sidharth smiling while sitting beside Shehnaaz. They both were equally nervous.

After sometime, Sidharth said, "Woh... Main keh raha tha ki.... Tum change kar ke aa jaao.... Comfortable rahega."

Shehnaaz also nodded and said, "Thik hai....Change kar ke aati hoon."

Saying that, she took her clothes and went inside the washroom.

"Tu itna nervous kyu ho raha hai? Himmat rakh Sidharth. First night hai teri. You can do it." He said to himself gathering courage.

After sometime, Shehnaaz came back changing in her night suit and saw that Sidharth also changed in his t-shirt and trousers.

Shehnaaz sat beside him and he looked at her.

He cleared his throat and said, "Woh main... Kuch laaya tha tumhare liye."

"Kya?" Asked Shehnaaz.

Sidharth took out a pair of anklets which he bought as a gift of their first night. He went near her legs and tied them around her feet making her smile cutely.

"Pasand aaya tumhe?" Asked Sidharth.

Shehnaaz nodded in yes and said, "Bohut pyaara hai."

Then she went close to him and whispered kissing his cheek, "Thank you."

Sidharth blushed at her sudden action. Then he turned to her and held her face softly. He closed his eyes and Shehnaaz realised that he was going to kiss her and she also closed her eyes.

They both felt goosebumps in their bodies as their lips were just inches apart. They could even feel each others' breath. Their lips almost touched when suddenly Shehnaaz started laughing shyly making Sidharth laugh as well.

"Nahi ho raha na?" He asked moving away to which she nodded in no.

"Shaadi se pehle socha nahi tha yeh itna difficult hoga.... Asal mein iss se pehle kabhi kisi ko....ki..kiss nahi kiya na isliye...."

He couldn't understand what to say further.

"Maine bhi." Replied Shehnaaz trying to hide her embarassment.

"Umm... Thoda awkward ho gaya na sab kuch?" She asked further.

"Haan." Replied Sidharth. "But it's okay. We should take our time. Koi zaldi nahi hai. Hum.... So jaate hai abhi. Bohut thak bhi gaya hoon."

"I'm also tired. So hi jaate hai."

They both nodded and lied down switching off the lights. They turned to the opposite sides and tried to sleep. But both couldn't sleep feeling restless. Shehnaaz was biting her lips while Sidharth was shaking his legs.

After sometime, they faced to each other. The moonlight entered the room and the saw each others' face. Their restlessness went away seeing each other and beautiful smiles formed on their faces.

"Good night Mr. Shukla." Said Shehnaaz.

"Good night.... Mrs. Shukla." Said Sidharth.

They both kept their hands on each other's and closed their eyes. Soon they fell asleep.
