just so you know, sidharth lives alone in a beach facing villa, while kausal lives with his dad, sidharth stays mostly with dad and kaushal but not always. Shehnaaz lives with her dad and mom.

The day of the ball:

shehnaaz decided on a simple and elegant short maroon dress. While sidharth called her and asked what color was she wearing. So that sid could match with her. So sidharth was wearing  a black suit with maroon tie

Sidharth was supposed to pick her up. He went to her house and knocked.

Shehnaaz came out. she was wearing the dress with minimal makeup and curled hair. Sidharth was in awe

Ss: you look gorgeous 

S: You don't look bad yourself.

Ss: shall we?

s: absolutely 

Both of them sit in the car. Sana was staring out of the window. Sidharth kept stealing glances at her.

they reached the venue in half an hour. Both of them got out. They entered the room and it looked like they were the youngest there. Shehnaaz was drawing eyes of almost all the men there.

Some guys were checking her out which made him want to punch them in the face.  Shehnaaz was talking to someone while sidharth went to get them drinks. sidharth came back with two glasses of wine and handed one to shehnaaz who smiled at him. both of them were standing in a corner bored.

s: yaar yeh kitni boring haii.

ss: i know right.

s: i wish we could escape from here

ss: so let's do that.

s: kya?

ss: if you want to escape, then wohi karte hain na.

s: lekin kaise?

sidharth took her hand and led her through this touch sent butterflies in shehnaaz's stomach. He led her through the back door and they reached the car. Both of them sat in the car and started laughing.

Ss: so? ab kya karen?

s: there's a cute place nearby let's go there

ss: sure. 

shehnaaz starts telling him the way, when she sees a ring pop sitting on his dashboard (ring pop is a ring shaped candy if you don't know)

shehnaaz starts laughing .

S: teri gaadi mein ek ring pop kya kar rha hai?

ss: kal samaan lene gaya tha toh unke paas change nahi tha to unhone yeh pakda diya. Also shehnaaz, will you marry me? he said holding the ring pop.

s: oh my god yes.

sidharth slipped the candy in her finger and both of them laughed.

shehnaaz clicked a pic and sent it on the group in which they all were present. Sidharth and shehnaaz were married for about 2 minutes until shehnaaz ate the ring pop.

both of them laughed after seeing their reactions . They reached a cafe, which was decorated with bright colors. They entered inside, there were a few groups of students and a few small children

. Shehnaaz waved at the girl standing behind the cash register. She came and hugged shehnaaz. Daisy, meet sidharth. shehnaaz said. Hi, nice to meet you. She talked a little with both of them,

D: So you guys here on a date?

S: Uh no... We just escaped a boring party *laughs*

daisy led them to a sea facing seat.

Ss: do you come here often?

s: yeahhh it's like my happy place. I usually come here with Kaushal.

D: you guys want to order something?

both of them ordered and talked. There was a band playing in the background.  The college students got up and started dancing. One of the girls  pulled shehnaaz to dance along with them. 

shehnaaz removed her heels, and was busy in dancing. Suddenly a slow song played and everyone made couples and started dancing. Shehnaaz sat on her knees, and danced with a little girl who was about 4, shehnaaz spun the girl and she giggled. The girl and shehnaaz's laughters filled the cafe. Sidharth was constantly smiling.

shehnaaz got up and pulled sidharth onto the dance floor.

Ss: shehnaaz i don't dance.

s: now you do.

Ss: please don't. I don't want to dance.

S: *puppy face* pleaseeeeeeeeeee? mere liyee???

sidharth groaned and gave up. He snaked his hands around her waist. She was standing on her  toes as sidharth was taller than her (their height difference is the cutest thing i swear❤️❤️)

she put her hands on his chest. Both of them were looking at each other and swaying to the music.  Both of them were lost in their world while Daisy clicked a photo and sent it to Kaushal. 

at the company :

K: NAKUULLLLLLLLL SUNNNNN IDHAR AAAAA JALDIIIIIIIII

Nakuul comes in running. 

N: are you okay??? sab theek hai naa???? 

Kaushal showed him that photo. Nakuul grinned.

N: yaar yeh ek saath kitne cute lagte hain.....

K: Mera toh man kar rha hai in dono ko band kar doon ek kamre mein.

both of them laugh.

Cafe//

both of them were still dancing. Sidharth twirled her and dipped her.

The whole cafe started clapping for them. Shehnaaz and sidharth both turned crimson red. Everyone was hooting and laughing. Both of them too started laughing. Both of them left.

as they were sitting in the car, there was a comfortable silence.

Ss: this was so much better than that boring party.

S: i know right. I didn't expect that party to be full of oldies.

Ss: yeah tell me about it 

Ss: so for how long have you known Kaushal?

S: for around 20 years.

Ss: woww. That's sooo long.

S: haha i know. We met when we were about 7. Haye Rabba hum dono milke mummy papa aur uncle aunty ko kitna tang karte the. 

Ss: you dance really well.

S: thanks *bites her lower lip*

Ss: *groans* why do you girls bite your lips??

(actually, fun story, even i have a habit of biting my lip when i'm nervous and all my guy friends are like don't do that it looks hot 😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️)

shehnaaz laughed at his comment.

Suddenly her phone pinged. She saw the message and sighed. It was the photo in which they were dancing with 😏😉 emoji.

she showed that message to sidharth.

Ss: how do they even do that?

s: daisyyy. I'll kill her.

Ss: well, get ready to get endlessly teased by these 2 idiots.

shehnaaz laughed, they reached her home. 

Shehnaaz whispered i'll see you tomorrow .

Sidharth smiled and nodded. Shehnaaz came towards him and lightly kissed his cheek.

and went inside.

Shehnaaz went inside and was blushing like hell.

Sidharth touched the spot where she kissed him, and sighed smiling.
