Since that day, Sana decided no to overthink anymore. She made herself understand that there was nothing going on between Sid and Deeksha. They were just good friends and their friendship grew more as days passed but Sana was okay with it. And no matter what happened, she would always be Sid's first priority. So there was nothing to worry about. Also she started planning to tell Sid about her feelings as if she didn't make the first move, someone else would do it surely. So she started preparing herself for the confession. But she didn't know that something was going to happen which would change their lives.

One day, Sid and Sana went to their office party. After reaching there Sid became busy talking to office colleagues as well as Sana. It had been three months, since she was working in the company. Now she didn't need Sid by her side all the time as she became much free with others and made friends in the office.

While talking with her colleagues, Sana saw Sid who started talking with Deeksha. It didn't bother her much until they both left somewhere else. Sana frowned a little when she couldn't find them anywhere and became curious to know where they went suddenly.

"Excuse me." She said to her colleague and went to find Sid and Deeksha.

Sana was walking and stopped seeing them standing at a corner. Deeksha was looking very happy. She almost jumped and hugged him tightly. Sid was also smiling. Sana felt very bad and left from there.

She went to the washroom and washed her face. She was feeling suffocated. Again and again she was remembering their hug. Sid never ever hugged any girl like this except her. She didn't want to think that way but what she had just saw was forcing her to do so. Sana closed her eyes for sometime and took a deep breath to feel better. Then she took out her phone and called someone.

After sometime...

Sid was looking for Sana in the party when one of the people present there informed him that she went outside.
Hearing that Sid also went outside and saw Sana standing.

He went near her and asked, "Tu yaaha bahar kya kar rahi hai?"

"Actually.... I'm not feeling well. Socha ghar chali jaau." Replied Sana without looking at him.

"Itni zaldi? Teri tabiyat toh thik hai na?"

Sid tried to touch her head but Sana didn't let him and said, "Arrey Baba bukhar nahi hai mujhe. Bas thoda tired feel kar rahi hoon."

"Ok then let's go. Main bike nikalta hoon."

He was about to go when Sana said, "Tu kidhar jaa raha hai? Maine Bhai ko call kar diya hai, woh abhi aate hi honge. You go inside and enjoy."

"Are you sure?" Asked Sid to confirm.

"Haan Baba. Main Bhai ke saath chali jaungi. Tu zyada mat soch." She said smiling forcefully.

Sid paused for a while and said, "Accha sun, tujhe kuch baata na tha. Woh Dee....."

Before he could complete, Raj came there with his bike.

"Bhai aa gaye. Sid main chalti hoon, bye."

Saying that Sana sat on the bike.

"Kya baat hai Sana? Aise urgently bulaya. Teri tabiyat thik nahi lag rahi kya?" Asked Raj being concern.

"Haan woh.... Tu bas ghar chal." Said Sana to Raj.

"Dhyan se jaana. Aur ghar pohuchte mujhe call zaroor karna." Said Sana.

"Main karunga call. Tu fikar mat kar." Said Raj to which Sid nodded.

Then Sana and Raj left from there. Sid watched her going. He smiled slightly. He didn't know why but he felt that something bad was going to happen.

Sana and Raj reached home. Sana was going to her room when she stopped and said to Raj, "Bhai! Aap zara andar aaoge? Kuch baat karni thi."

Raj nodded and went to her room. They both entered the room and sat on the bed.

"Kya hua Sana? Tu bohut pareshan dikh rahi hai." Said Raj.

Sana sighed and said, "Bhai aap se ek baat puchu? Kya aap ko nahi lagta Sid thoda badal gaya hai?"

Raj frowned and asked, "Badal gaya hai matlab? Woh pehle jaisa tha aaj bhi waisa hi hai. Mere saath toh same hi hai sab kuch."

"Haan but woh pehle ki tarah humare saath hang out nahi karta, zyada baatein nahi karta, apne mein hi rehta hai. Aur office mein aaj kaal ek ladki ke saath he is being too close.... Kya woh usse pasand karta hai? Aap ko usne kuch baataya iss baare mein?"

Raj laughed and said, "Pagli! Sid ko koi ladki pasand aaye aur woh hum chaaro ko na baataye aisa ho sakta hai? Agar aisa kuch hota na, ab tak yeh news hot topic ban chuki hoti."

Sana smiled hearing that.

"Tujhe yaad hai, jab mai aur Sid 9th class mein the aur tu aur Trisha 6th class mein.... Sid ko humari English Mam pe crush aa gaya tha aur usne hum teeno ko baataya tha. Humne uss baat ka itna dhindora peeta tha, agle hi din Principal Sir ne guardian call kar ke Rita Aunty ko bulaya tha. Aur ghar laut ne ke baad jo jhappad pare the Sid ko......."

Sana started laughing remembering that incident. "Sach mein Bhai, bechara sirf humari wajah se pit gaya tha." Said Sana while laughing.

After sometime Raj stopped laughing and said, "So basically I was telling that....woh humara Sid hai. He can never hide anything from us. Agar uski koi girlfriend hogi, sabse pehle humein paata chalega. Even mere se pehle woh tujhe baatayega. Isliye tu zyada soch mat. Woh ladki bas uski friend hi hogi, at least abhi ke liye."

Sana nodded in yes.

"Accha main sone jaa raha hoon. Good night meri behna!"

Saying that Raj kissed Sana's forehead.

"Good night Bhai!" Said Sana. After that Raj left.

Sana closed the door and stood in front of the mirror.

"Bas, bohut overthink kar liya tune. Deeksha Sid ki dost hai, sirf dost. Woh hug bas ek normal hug tha aur kuch nahi. Tu toh aise behave kar rahi hai jaise tune kabhi kisi ladke ko hug nahi kiya. Chill! Thoda toh bharosa rakh apne pyaar pe. Sid bachpan se hi tera hai. Koi bhi ladki aise nahi aa sakti tum dono ke beech. Aur Sid kabhi aane bhi nahi dega. So relax! Everything will be fine." She said to convince herself and gave a huge smile. But the fear of losing Sid didn't go away.

After sometime she lied on the bed and fell asleep.

Next Day...

Sana went to the office. Sana didn't get a chance to talk to Sid as they both were busy. But she noticed that something was going on between Sid and Deeksha. They were discussing something. But she thought the discussion to be work related and ignored it as usual.

In the evening, she returned home after another hectic day. She was sitting on the sofa when Parminder Ji came with a glass of water.

"Aaj bohut kaam tha na office mein?" Asked Parminder Ji very sweetly.

Sana felt the question little weird and replied, "Haan. Roz hota hai."

"Woh hi toh. Kitni thak jaati hai meri Bacchi! Yeh le thoda paani pee le."

Saying that Parminder Ji gave Sana the glass of water and sat beside her.

Sana took the glass and thought, "Yeh khatirdari genuine hai yaa bali chadhane se pehle bakre ko jo khatirdari kiyi jaati hai, woh wali hai? Jo bhi hai, abhi iss khatirdari ka maza leti hoon."

Thinking that Sana drank the water.

"Accha sun na, kuch baat karni thi tujhse." Said Parminder Ji suddenly.

"Haan haan boliye." Said Sana.

"Woh aaj na main apne group ki kitty party mein gayi thi. Woh teri Dolly Mausi hai na, woh baat baat pe apne chachere Bhai ke Bete ki baat kar rahi thi. Paata hai unka Beta Harbhajan software engineer hai, London mein job karta hai. Saal mein crore o kamata hai. Bada hi sohna munda hai. Lekin London mein rehne ke bawajood sanskar bilkool desi hai. Isliye apne Mummy ke bas ek baar kehne pe India aa gaya. Ab shaadi kar ke hi London wapas jaayega, arrange marriage. Aur......"

Sana cut her in between and said, "Wait! Wait! Aap mujhe Dolly Mausi ke chachere Bhai ke Bete ke kisse kyu suna rahe ho? Woh kya kar raha hai mujhe uss mein koi interest nahi hai."

"Arrey puri baat toh sun le. Woh log abhi ladki dhund rahe hai. Ladka 26 saal ka hai. Aur tu bhi toh 22 saal ki hogayi hai. Isliye maine proposal rakha ki........"

Sana widened her eyes and said, "I hope aap mere rishte ki baat nahi karke aayi ho."

"Asal mein.....ek baar tu dekh leti toh...."

Sana immediately stood up and said loudly, "Mummy please! At least aap yeh expect mat karo ki main uss Harbhajan se shaadi karungi. I don't even know him."

"Iss hi liye toh kaal bulaya hai unn logo ko. Dono ek dusre ko jaan lena. Phir hum shaadi ki taiyari kar lenge."

"Aur shaadi ke baad main London chali jaaungi right? Phir main jo job karti hoon uska kya?"

"Arrey London mein job kar lena, aur bhi accha hai. Maine aaj phone pe baat kiyi thi uski Mummy se. Harbhajan ke bohut jaan pehchaan hai udhar. Tujhe asani se job mil jayegi."

"Saari baatein ho bhi gayi? I can't believe this! Mujhse puchna zaroori nahi samjha aap ne?"

Hearing the noise, Santokh Ji came out of his room and said, "Itna shor kyu macha rahe ho tum dono?"

"Papa dekhiye na. Mummy zabardasti meri shaadi karwana chahti hai. I don't want to marry." Said Sana making a crying face.

Santokh Ji understood the matter and said, "Beta koi tere saath zabardasti nahi kar raha. Tu ek baar mil le uss ladke se."

"Kyu milna hai jab ki mujhe shaadi karni hi nahi? I'm just 22. I want to focus on my career."

"Dekh Beta, aaj nahi toh kaal shaadi teri honi hi hai. Ab woh mere retirement se pehle ho jaaye toh aur bhi accha hai."

"But Papa...."

"Par agar tujhe koi pasand hai toh tu humein baata sakti hai. Hum tujhe kisi aur ladke se nahi milwayenge." Said Santokh Ji assuring Sana. Sana started thinking.

Parminder Ji frowned and said, "Arrey aise kaise....."

Santokh Ji showed his hand to make her quiet and said to Sana, "Baata Beta. Koi hai tere dil mein?"

After staying quiet for a long time, Sana said, "Aap dono thodi der ruko. Main abhi aati hoon."

Saying that she left home hurriedly leaving her parents confused.

She was going towards Sid's house.

"Ab aur time waste nahi kar sakti main. I have to tell Sid about my feelings. Bas ek baar woh haan bol de, phir gharwalon ko maana na koi badi baat nahi hogi." She said in her mind.

Sana suddenly stopped when she saw a car standing at a far distance from Sid's house. Sid and Deeksha were standing near the car and there were some more people. Sana frowned and went near them.

"I have to say, you guys make a great pair." Commented a girl looking at Sid and Deeksha.

"Pair?" Asked Sana making a confused face and everyone looked at her. Sid became shocked seeing her.

"Kis pair ki baat ho rahi hai?" Asked Sana.

Sid's face fell totally.

"Sana they are my friends." Said Deeksha introducing her friends to Sana. "They are talking about me and Sid."

"Tum dono pair kaise?" Asked Sana.

Deeksha looked at Sid and said, "Didn't you tell her?"

Sid sighed and said, "Actually Sana... Me and Deeksha.... We have started dating."

Sana was heartbroken. All her dreams she had been seeing since years, crashed down within a fraction of second. She couldn't understand how to feel at that moment. Was it true or some bad dream of her?

"Dating?" Asked Sana. "Aur mujhe.... Mujhe nahi baataya tune?"

"Sana..... I....umm.... I forgot. Sorry."

"You forgot?" Asked Sana with disbelief. "Great. But don't say sorry. I'm sorry to disturb you guys. Excuse me."

Saying that Sana left from there immediately.

"Sana...."

Sid was about to go after her but Deeksha hold his hand and stopped him.

"Who is she?" Asked one of Deeksha's friends.

Sid couldn't reply. He just kept watching her leaving.

After sometime, Sana entered her home and said to her parents, "Unn logo ko kaal hi bula li jiye. Main shaadi ke liye taiyar hoon."

Parminder Ji smiled hearing that while Santokh Ji understood that something was wrong.

Sana didn't stay there anymore and went to her room. Closing the door, she fell on the ground and broke into tears.

Her love story was left incomplete.
