Delhi

Shehnaaz flight land in Delhi, she directly went to her house. Everyone welcome her with a warm smile. Few days passed like this, she make herself busy in her work so his thoughts didn't across her mind but this trick didn't work for her.

One day her dadi fall ill, she was suffering from a major heart attack her survival chances are very less.

"Kya hua shehnaaz mummy theek hai na?" Her father asked her. She look down.

"Papa chances are very low dadi ki arteries block ho gai hai unka operation bhi possible nahi hai wo itne healthy nahi hai".

"Beta kuch to kar" her father said.

"I'm sorry papa we can't do anything" she said helplessly.

They all went inside to meet her. She smile looking at her family.

"Naaz puttar" she whispered.

Shehnaaz went near her and kiss her chuckles.

"Dadi tension na lo sab theek hoga" she lied to her to not give her tension.

"Kiu jhoot bol rahi hai puttar nurse ne bataya mera bachna mushkil hai zyda se zyda 1 saal hoga mere pass, puttar meri ek gal manegi".

She nodded with tears "dasso na dadi".

"Shadi kar le puttar" she said weakly "teenu dulhan ke roop me dekhna hai is duniya se jaane se pehle".

Shehnaaz eyes filled with tears, she promised herself that she will be always be his no matter he love her or not but now her dadi want her to fulfill her last wish how can she say no to her, how can we broke the promise she keep to herself.

"Bol puttar karegi na shadi mere jaane se pehle" dadi again asked.

She nodded unwontedly "haan dadi karungi" she kissed her forehead.

"Shehna puttar ye bohot bada faisla hai aese emotional hokar mat le" her mother whispered to her.

"Don't worry mummy bohot soch samjh ke liya hai".

"Beta tu sure hai na?" Her father asked.

"Hanji papa" she hug him tightly, she was tired by all the things happening in her life.

After few months they found a suitable groom for her. His name is Angad, he live in London because of his job. His parents live in Delhi.

"Shehnaaz munda to bohot changa hai" her dadi said while looking at Angad picture. "Sukh iske baare me puri jaanch kar li na?"

"Haan ji mummy ye Angad Bedi hai, London rehta hai kaam ke silsile me, meine kuch logo se pata kara hai nature ka bohot acha hai aur kaam bhi acha hai iska"

"Chalo ye to acha hua meri bacchi ki shadi ek ache insaan se hogi" she patted her head.

"Mummy ji ye log kal aa rahe hai shehnaaz ko dekhne sab sahi raha to shadi ki date fix kar denge" her mother said. Shehnaaz was sitting like a statue all the time.

Next day, angad and his family come, they like shehnaaz and both family fix the marriage date.

Jaitsar.

After Shehnaaz left Jaitser. Shiv was broken he fill empty. He try to forget her but her thoughts never leave his mind.

"Hey shiv" he was working in his office when he hear his friend's voice.

"Hey, kushal how are you man" he stood up and hug him. They meet after one year.

"I'm good tu bata bhai kya haal hai, yaar ye galat hai wese mein ek saal ke liye foreign kya gaya tune to shadi kar li".

Shiv give him a fake smile but kushal caught him.

"Kya hua bhai everyone okay".

"Bahar chale lunch par waha baat karte hai"

They both went to a restaurant which was little far away from his town.

"Ab batayega kya hua hai".

Shiv explain how he got married with anandi and how was their relationship going after marriage, he also told about shehnaaz.

"What shehnaaz, apni shehnaaz she love you ye kab hua?" He got shocked.

"Bass ho gaya yaar mujhe kya pata kab kese hua" he said irritatingly and rub his forehead.

"Ahmmm kuch puchu sach sach batayega?"

"Bhoko"

"Abey, chal chod aur ye bata kya tu usse pyaar karta hai?"

"Kisse"

"Ullu ke pat...abey shehnaaz se aur kisse"

He rub his forehead hardly "no" he said  looking at other side.

"Kiu khudh se aur mujhse jhoot bol raha hai"

"I... i don't know man but ek cheez clear hai i... i can't cheat anandi"

"What, but tu cheat kaha karega bro cheat wo hota jaha tu uske pith piche shehnaaz ke saath relationship me jaata cheating kuch aur hai aur jis situation me tu hai wo kuch aur hai".

"Chod i don't want to talk about this"

"Acha tell me you don't want to give up on your relationship with Anandi? And your are confused also that you love shehnaaz or not?"

"Obviously"

"To ek kaam kar apni feelings samjh pehle ki tujhe chahiye kya ya yu kahu to kon, think about it clearly aur tune bataya tha na ki anandi ne bola ki agar tu chahe to aage badh sakta hai"

"Haan but"

"Dekh shiv i know tu anandi ke baare me soch raha hai but ek baar apne baare me bhi soch ke dekh, soch usko tu khush rakh payega agar pyaar hi nahi hoga to"

Shiv nodded and he decided to find about his feelings first. From last 4 months he decided ignore his feelings toward shehnaaz and give a chance to their marriage but it didn't work as anandi didn't reciprocate. She mostly ignore him. At last he leave everything on destiny untill one day he got the biggest shock of his life.

One fine day Shiv come home and saw his family, they look happy he asked why they are so happy.

"Kya hua aap log aaj itne khush?" He asked them while sitting on sofa.

"Khushi ki baat hai to khush hi hongo bhai" alok ji said.

"Dad"

"Acha ye dekh khudh samjh jayega" daddu said and give him a card. He look at the card and ground slipped from his feets. It's a wedding card of her. Without his knowledge a tear escape his eye. He look down and wipe his tear before anyone saw him.

"Apni shehnaaz ki shadi hai 4 din baad hum sabko bulaya hai" maa said.

"Jaana zaruri hai maa?" Anandi asked.

"Ha beta shehnaaz hamari beti jesi hai aur un logo ne bola hai ki hume zarur aana hai"

Shiv stood up and left from there.

"Ek to is ladke to pata nahi kya ho gaya hai bina bataye chala jaata hai".

He went on terrace and dial her number but she didn't pick his call. He huffed and dial kushal's number.

"Kushal" his voice broke.

"Shiv are you okay bro?" He asked getting tensed.

"Nahi... wo... wo shadi kar rahi hai... wo kese kar sakti hai wo to mujhse pyaar karti thi na us... usne bola tha muj... mujhse phir kese" tears flowing from his eyes.

"Relax relax okay take a deep breath aur theek se bata"

"Yaar shehnaaz shadi kar rahi hai uski shadi ka card aaya hai"

"What, lekin achanak kese?"

"I...i don't know kuch samjh nahi aa raha pls kuch kar" he said in cracking voice.

"Acha relax kar tell me one thing do you love shehnaaz?"

He took a deep breath "i...i think yes...mujhse nahi dekha jayega usko kisi aur ke saath"

"Lekin anandi?"

Shiv stay silent and close his eyes "maybe me and shehnaaz not meant to be together"

"Ek baar baat to kar anandi se please"

"Nahi leave it"

"Hone dega shehnaaz ki shadi"

He pressed his forehead and cut the call.

Present:-

Today is the day of mehendi and haldi and next day marriage will be held.

Shiv and his family reached Delhi. They directly went to shehnaaz home.

"Are aayiye aayiye kabse intezaar tha aap logo ka" her father welcomed them.

"Aur sukh bhai sahab sab kese hai" alok ji asked.

"Bass baba ji ki kripa hai"

"Are shiv anandi nahi aai?" Pammi ji asked.

"Nahi aunty unko kuch kaam tha".

"Wese hamari dulhaniya kaha hai?" Daddu asked.

"Bass wo taiyaar ho rahi hai aap log fresh ho jaiye phir function shuru hone wala hai"

They all went to their respective rooms.

Shehnaaz is getting ready when someone knock on her door.

"Shivi dekh na kon hai" she said to shivi .she nodded and open the door when she saw shiv was standing there.

"Are shiv bhaiya aap" .

Hearing shiv name shehnaaz turn and saw him standing there. He was awestruck when he enter and saw her.

She saw her and her eyes filled up with tears she didn't expect him. Shivi decided to give them privacy.

"Aap log baat kariye mein aati hu" she left from there and lock the door.

Shehnaaz turn toward the mirror and try to adjust her earrings. She blink her eyes to erase the tears.

"Dekhogi bhi nahi?" He asked.

She didn't turn .

"Btw congratulations" he chuckle sadly.

"Thank you" she said slowly and try to leave from there when he hold her wrist and pulled her towards himself. Her hands land on his chest. He lock his hands behind her waist. They share an eye lock. She broke the eye contact and try to push him but he lock his hand tightly.

"Shiv chodiye" she try to free herself.

"Kabhi nahi" he said lovingly while putting hair flicks behind ear. She look at him widened eyes. Their faces are few inches apart.
