Next morning she woke up but feel pain in her body because she sleep wearing her lehenga. She saw her bags in the room, she take out one red saree from it and got ready in few minutes.
She decided to go and meet her new family. She went downstairs and saw everyone on dining table.

She smile and wish them "good morning".

"Good morning bhabhi" rudra wish her with a smile. While other ignore her like she does not exist between them. She smile awkwardly and stood there. She saw Sidharth was coming downstairs. He wish everyone and they also wish him. She know they are ignoring her. They all start their breakfast and talk with eachother ignoring her presence.

Her eyes filled up with tears she bite her lower lip and left from there. They all notice her going upstairs but didn't said anything. She went inside the room and lock her. "What was my mistake?".

She was sitting on his room and thought about her life.

"You're not my wife just an unwanted burden on me" his hurtful words are ringing in her ears. She took out her parents picture from her bag. "Isme meri kya galti thi maa papa meine thodi bola tha Shreya ko shadi se bhagne ke liye ya meine to nahi bola tha na sabse ki mujhe Sidharth ki replaced bride banaye unhone khudh hi bola tha na to ab kiu mujhe ignore kar rahe hai sab" she wipe her tears "Sidharth to mujhe divorce de denge 6 mahine baad uske baad kya taai ji to mujhe kabhi us ghar ke wapas nahi lengi aur bade papa bhi unke samne kuch nahi bolenge Nahi nahi mein aese nahi beth sakti na ye ghar mera hai na wo mujhe khudh hi mehnat karni hogi 6 mahine hai mere pass i think mujhe koi ghar dekhna shuru kr dena chahiye ha yeh sahi rahega aap dono meri help karoge na"

She pass her time like this and in afternoon she went downstairs to eat something when she saw everyone was sitting in dining table as it's already lunch time. She went towards them and silently sat on the last chair.

She took her comfort dishes and start eating silently, all of them was looking at her but she didn't look at them.

"Lagta hai sanskar nahi hai kese besharmo ke jese kha rahi hai" sanjana said.

This time she look at her "Bua ji sanskar to bohot hai magar kya hai insaan hu aur bhook mujhe bhi lagti hai already breakfast skip kar chuki hu ab lunch nahi kar sakti aur mein yaha chup chap aakar beth kar kha rahi hu bina kisi drama ke to i think ye sanskaro me hi aata hai" she said and again start eating.

"Papa jab tak ye ladki hamare saath beth kar khayegi mein nahi khaungi yaha khana" sanjana said and left.

"Are sanjana suno to" mahesh ji follow her.

Slowly everyone left from there except rudra.

"Don't worry bhabhi abhi sabke dimag garam hai ek baar thande ho jaaye phir aaram se baat karenge aapse sab".

"I hope so" she smile sadly and Left from there. She enter in their room and saw him sitting on bed with his laptop. She ignore him.

"Suno" he said without looking at her.

"Hmm"

"Ab se tum hamare saath khana nahi khogi"

"Kiu?"

He look at her "niche jo drama kiya wo kam tha tumhari wajhe se bua uth kar chali gai ab kya chahati ho sab waha khana chod de"

"Bua ji uth kar gai usme meri kya galti shuru unhone kiya tha meine nahi mein chup chap kha rahi thi na lekin nahi"

"Jo bhi tum apna dekh lo lekin please meri family se dur raho" he said and left.

"Samjh ke kya rakha hai sabne khud ko" she said angrily but her eyes filled with tears. "Shyd mera happy family wala dream dream hi reh jayega".

The wipe her tears and cut her time somehow. At night she skip her dinner and sleep taking her pills.

Next day without thinking twice she got ready for her office because she know nobody cares for her at the end she is alone in this world. For surviving in this she have to work hard.

She wear a simple suit, taking her bag she went outside the room but sanjana stop her.

"Kaha chali sawari?"

"Office"

"Hamare ghar ki bahu kaam par nahi jaati jaao apne kamre me" she said sternly.

For a second shehnaaz step back but something strike her mind. She smirks inwardly.

"Bua ji aapne kaha is ghar ki bahu kaam par nahi jaati right?"

"Haan"

"Yani aap mujhe is ghar ki bahu maanti hai?"

"H-" she was about to say yes but stop and glare her. "Baatein mat ghumao aur andar jaao"

"Kya bua ji"

"Kya hua sanjana?" Rita maa asked her she was going from there but stop when she saw them.

"Dekho na bhabhi ye kaam par ja rahi hai"

"Ha to"

"To kya hamare ghar ki bahu kaam par nahi jaati bhul gai" she hold her palm and press it. There is no rules for Shukla's daughter in law but sanjana herself create one to stop shehnaaz.

"Ha maa dekhiye na bua ji ne kaha ki ghar ki bahu kaam par nhi jaati aur aap sab to mujhe bahu maante nahi na to mein to ja sakti hu na" she said innocently.

"Hmm jaao" she said sternly.

She smile widely while sanjana glare her.

"Okay bye" she said and take their blessing hurriedly and left.

"Kya bhabhi kiu jaane diya usko"

"Sanjana jab aesa kuch rule hi nahi hai to kiu banana usko jo karna hai karne do" she said and left.

Shehnaaz reached her office and as expected all the eyes were on her. She feel uncomfortable but thought to ignore. She went to her desk and sat quietly but someone bang on her desk.

"Aman" she keep her hand on her chest to uncontrol her heartbeat. "Dara diya"

"Bro tune shadi kar li aur mujhe bataya bhi nahi" he said dramatically.

"Bohot lambi story hai" she huffed.

He grab a chair and sat beside her "to bata na aaj wo takla bhi nahi aaya hai aur mein bhi free hu"

She rolled her eyes "abhi nahi please tu free hai mein nahi"

"Abey to ho ja" he snatch the file from her hands. "Actually ruk cafe chalte hai mein na anjali (his wife) ko bhi bulata hu wo legi teri class" he said and dial his wife number.

"Nahi nahi" she try to stop him but he didn't listen.

"Hello anjali haan lunch time me na niche aa jana cafe me ek breaking news deni hai, kya already pata hai, haan haan wahi hai okay" he cut the call and Look at her who was already glaring him. "Bro teri shadi ki news aag ki tarha fhel gai pure office me"

"Ahaaa mujhe ye nahi chahiye tha unwanted attention"

"Bye bro lunch time me milte hai" he said and run away.

She punch the desk and wince in pain.

At lunch time she was sitting infront of an angry anjali.

"Explain?"

"Wo actually-"

"Wo ye idhar udhar ki baatein chod aur ye bata shadi behen ki karwane gai thi aur khudh kar ke aa gayi"

"To meine konsa apni marzi se ki hai" she whispered.

"Kya" they both almost shout.

She look here and there and saw that everyone was looking at them.

"Guys pls dheere"

"Okay fine lekin ye hua kese" aman asked her. She told them everything because she know they never judge her.

"But tu kiu bali ki bakri bani" anjali said.

"Wo bali ka bakra hota hai" aman correct her.

"But ye to female hai na isliye bakri ab tum apni bak bak band karo"

"Dekho meine ye tum dono ko bataya hai pls ye baat kisi aur ko pata nahi lagni chahiye please"

"Okay"

"But wo log tujhe theek se treat to kar rahe hai na?"

"H... haan haan" she answer them hesitantly because she didn't want to share her personal things with anyone.

"Well chal ye chod kuch khate hai ab" aman said and order their food. Actually they both carry their lunch box but she doesn't have anyone to prepare lunch for her. So she always order a sandwich and tea for herself.

At night she reached Shukla Niwas and saw that everyone was sitting in dining table and have their dinner together. Her stomach groan because she didn't eat her dinner yet she decided to have it at home. She directly went to their room and land herself on the couch. Few tears drop from her eyes. She sleep because of tiredness but not before taking her pills.

In dining table :

"Papa ji mein keh rahi thi ki ab to Sidharth ki shadi ho hi gai hai chahe kisi se bhi hui ho mujhe lagta hai ab hume shehnaaz ko as a daughter in law accept kar lena chahiye" rita maa said.

"Hmm" mahesh ji just nodded and focus on his food.

"Ye kya keh rahi hai aap bhabhi un logo ne dhoka diya hai hume aur kya pata ye ladki kesi ho boyfriend hua to koi iska" sanjana said.

"Didi mujhe nahi lagta shehnaaz aesi hai" vidya said.

"Tum to rehne hi do vidya are dekha tha na iski behen ko kese bhaag gai isne bhi hamare khandan par kalank laga diya to"

"Lekin di lagaya to nahi na aur dekha jaaye to agar Sidharth ki shadi zabardasti se hui hai to shehnaaz ki bhi hui hai" varun said.

"Bass us ladki ki wajhe se apas me ladne ki zarurat nahi hai" mahesh ji said and left.

Slowly they all went to their rooms. Sidharth enter in his room and saw her sleeping like a child. He feel different but ignore his feelings.

"Kon ho tum shehnaaz jesi dikhti ho wesi hi ya is masoom chehre ke piche koi shatir chehra hai" his thought broke when he received call from his bestfriend.

"Hey kushal kesa hai!"

"I'm good mera bhai acha sun kal mein India aa raha hu"

"What really thank you yaar i really need you here"

"Kiu?"

"Tu aa ja phir batata hu life ki lagi padhi hai bhai"

"Okay kal milte hai phir".

"okay bye"he said and cut the call. He enter inside the room and laid on his bed looking at her. Slowly sleep consume him.

Shehnaaz woke up around 12 am. She look at her surrounding and understand she sleep but now she badly want to eat something. First she change her cloths than went towards the kitchen. She enter and check everything for her bad luck there is nothing to eat.

"Thoda bhi nahi hai" she sadly look at the clean utensils. "Ab kya khaau itni raat ko order karna bhi sahi nahi rahega" she bite her lower lip and control her tears "thoda sa to chod dete" she wipe her tears and remember that she had some biscuits in her bag. She went to her room and ate the biscuits sitting in balcony. Sidharth feel the cold breeze as it's already November and what can we say about the winter season of Delhi. He woke up and saw the balcony door open he stood up and went to close the door when he saw her. She was looking at the sky blankly while eating biscuits. He wonder why she is eating biscuits this time and importantly why the hell she is sitting in the balcony when the weather is cold outside. She will surely catch cold.

"Yaha kya kar rahi ho?" He asked.

She jump on her place as she didn't expect him.

"Wo.... bass aese hi".

"Ahmm mujhe thand lag rahi hai andar aakar gate close kar do" he said sternly and left. She went inside and throw the empty wrapper in the dustbin and sleep after taking her pills.
