Epilogue
Shehnaaz Gill was never the kind of girl who let her heart rule her decisions.
She was practical, disciplined, and always in control. But ever since Sidharth Shukla had walked into her life, that control had slowly started slipping.
She had tried to ignore it. Tried to push it away. Tried to tell herself that it was just a phase. But it was not. Because every time he laughed, she wanted to laugh with him. Every time he teased her, she wanted to fight back.
Every time he looked at her like she was the only person in the world, her heart skipped a beat.
And now. She was done running from it. She was done pretending. Shehnaaz Gill was in love. And tonight, she was going to tell him.
Sidharth had been preparing to flirt with Shehnaaz as usual when something unexpected happened.
She walked up to him after their flight, took a deep breath, and said "Sidharth, if you don't mind aaj dinner pe chale?"
Silence. Sidharth froze.
Aman, who had been standing beside him, choked on his coffee.
Did Shehnaaz just... invite Sidharth for dinner?
The same Shehnaaz who had refused every dinner invitation before?
The same Shehnaaz who had always prioritized work over spending time with him?
What the hell was happening? Sidharth blinked at her, then at Aman, then back at her.
"Tum... tum kya boli?" he asked, wondering if he had imagined it.
Shehnaaz rolled her eyes, crossing her arms. "Dinner. Mere saath. Aana hai ya nahi?"
Aman whispered, "Shukla, haan bol warna zindagi bhar pachtayega."
Sidharth still looked suspicious. "Tumne khud mujhe invite kiya? Mujhse dinner pe chalne ko kaha? Tum theek toh ho?"
Shehnaaz sighed dramatically. "Agar nahi chalna toh bata do, main aur kisi ko invite kar leti hoon."
"NAHI!". Sidharth almost shouted, grabbing her wrist before she could walk away.
"Main aa raha hoon!"
Shehnaaz smirked. "Good."
As she walked away, Sidharth turned to Aman, still in shock. "Bhai, yeh koi prank toh nahi?"
Aman laughed. "Nahi Shukla, yeh pyaar hai."
And for the first time, Sidharth felt nervous.
Because tonight, something big was going to happen.
He could feel it.

The moment Sidharth stepped onto the rooftop restaurant, he felt like he had entered a dream.
Soft lights. A breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. A candlelit table set for two.
And in the center of it all.
Shehnaaz.
Dressed in a simple black dress, looking like the most beautiful thing he had ever seen. For a moment, he couldn't breathe.
He had seen her in her uniform a thousand times, always strict, composed, and professional.
But tonight, she wasn't the air hostess.
Tonight, she was just his Shehnaaz. And damn, he was gone for her.
She noticed his staring and raised an eyebrow. "Mujhe ghurne ka extra charge lagega."
Sidharth grinned, finally finding his voice. "Tum mujhe dinner pe invite karogi, mujhe aese surprise karogi aur bologi ki ghurne ka extra charge lagega? Not fair, G.G."
Shehnaaz rolled her eyes but smiled. "Baitho na."
As they sat down, Sidharth leaned forward. "Acha sach batana, yeh sab ka scene kya hai? Pehle tum mujhe dinner pe bulaati nahi thi, na kabhi dinner par aane ko ab yeh full romantic setup. Kya chal raha hai?"
Shehnaaz took a deep breath. This was it.
Her heart was racing, her fingers trembled slightly, but she didn't back down.
She reached across the table, placing her hand over his.
Sidharth's teasing expression vanished.
Shehnaaz looked into his eyes, her voice soft but firm.
"Sidharth, maine zindagi bhar doosron ki expectations pe jeene ki koshish ki. Apne papa ki, society ki, sabki. Lekin ek cheez jo mujhe samajh nahi aayi thi... woh yeh thi ki main khud kya chahti hoon."
Sidharth squeezed her hand, waiting for her to continue.
"Aur ab mujhe pata hai," she whispered, a small smile forming on her lips. "Mujhe tumhara saath chahiye, Sidharth taaki main khul ke jee saku."
Sidharth's breath hitched.
"I love you, Captain."
Silence. For the first time, Sidharth didn't know what to say.
Shehnaaz Gill, the girl who had always avoided emotional conversations, the girl who had spent months pushing him away, had just confessed her love.
For him.
His lips slowly curved into a smirk. "Shehnaaz, tum sach bol rahi hai ya yeh koi prank hai?"
Shehnaaz rolled her eyes. "Main mazaak ke mood me lag rahi hoon?"
Sidharth grinned, then suddenly stood up, walked around the table, and pulled her up into his arms.
Tightly.
So tight that she could hear his heartbeat racing.
"Bohot time lagaya, S.G" he whispered into her hair.
Shehnaaz giggled. "Meri rank badh gai. G.G to S.G."
Sidharth smile and nodded. "Haan. Par chalo, finally accept toh kiya ki tum bhi mujhpe fida ho."
Shehnaaz laughed softly, resting her forehead against his. "Bohot zyada."
Sidharth cupped her face, his voice low and serious. "I love you too, Shehnaaz."
She closed her eyes, letting the moment sink in.
For the first time, she wasn't scared.
For the first time, she wasn't running.
She was exactly where she was meant to be.
With him.

The confession in Paris had changed everything.
Shehnaaz no longer hesitated to let herself feel. She didn't fight her emotions or ignore her heart.
And Sidharth?
He had always known.
The moment she had admitted her feelings, he had sealed the deal. From that day on, there was no "Captain vs. His G.G." It was just Sidharth and Shehnaaz, together.
Their flights together became even more special.
They would sneak quick glances at each other during announcements, their silent conversations filled with teasing and unspoken promises.
Sidharth, ever the entertainer, never missed a chance to flirt with her even mid flight.
"Captain, dhyan dijiye plane uda rahe hai aap, mujhe nahi," she would scold him.
And he would grin. "Mujhe kya pata tha, tum hi meri zindagi ka takeoff aur landing ban jaogi, S.G.?". Shehnaaz rolled her eyes and left from there.
Passengers had started noticing too. Some even whispered that their pilot and air hostess had a "secret romance."
And Aman?
Aman was having the time of his life.
"Shukla, tu toh pehle se hi Shehnaaz ka deewana tha. Ab toh poora hawa mein udd raha hai," he teased one day.
"Main to hu hi uska deewana parwana aawara aashiq, lekin tu bhi Ms.Priya ka deewana nahi ban raha?" Sidharth shot back, making Aman choke on his coffee.
Their bond had only grown stronger.
And for the first time, Shehnaaz was not scared of what came next.
She was happy.
Two Years Later
A lot had changed in two years.
Sidharth had climbed ranks in his career, becoming one of the most trusted senior pilots. Shehnaaz, too, had moved forward, now training new flight attendants while still flying.
And the biggest change?
They were engaged.
The proposal had been... so Sidharth.
Shehnaaz had been expecting something grand maybe a candlelit dinner, a romantic speech, or something straight out of a movie.
But no.
Sidharth had proposed mid flight.
Right in front of the passengers.
During the in flight announcement, he had suddenly said.
"Passengers, this is your Captain speaking. I have a very important announcement to make. Ahmm ahmm to arz kiya hai. Udte plane mein hai proposal ki baat, Captain hoon main, kar doon kya haath saat?"
Tera gussa bhi hai ek special flight,
Lekin destination toh hai love at first sight!"
Aaj keh do haan, ya phir bhi bolo haan,
Par yaad rakhna, emergency exits nahi hote pyaar se bhaagne ke liye!"
The passengers burst into laughter, Aman facepalmed, and Shehnaaz just stared at him in disbelief.
"Bhai itna ganda proposal? Seriously?."
"Sidharth, yeh sab kya bakwas thi?." she whispered, half amused, half embarrassed.
Sidharth smirked. "Tumhari haan sunne ke liye kuch bhi kar sakta hoon, S.G."
Pulling out a ring from his uniform pocket. "Toh jawab kya hai?"
And despite all her fake anger, she had said yes.
Because how could she ever say no to the man who had taught her to love?
And despite everything, she could not help but laugh because this was Sidharth Shukla.
Annoying. Dramatic. Irresistible.
And now, hers forever.

Now, as they sat together on their honeymoon flight to the Maldives, Shehnaaz looked at the man beside herher best friend, her partner, her home.
He was still the same bubbly, mischievous Sidharth, and she was still the fiercely independent, strong willed Shehnaaz.
They still fought over small things.
They still teased each other mercilessly.
And they still loved each other more than words could ever describe.
As she leaned her head on his shoulder, he whispered.
"Ab bhi mujhse pyaar karti ho, S.G?"
She smiled. "Bohot zyada, Captain. "
And just like that, their love story continued.
With no endings. Only new beginnings.
Their story had begun thousands of feet above the ground.
A flight that had started with arguments, stolen glances, and stubborn silences had slowly turned into something neither of them had expected love.
Shehnaaz, the disciplined air hostess who had spent her life chasing perfection.
Sidharth, the carefree pilot who believed in living life one moment at a time.
They had been opposites, always clashing, always challenging each other.
But somewhere between the chaos of their flights, the long layovers, the shared coffees, and the countless fights, they had found home in each other.
They had faced storms, turbulence, and even near tragedy, but in the end, their love had conquered everything.
Because love, much like flying, was all about trust.
And no matter what happened, they knew one thing for sure. Their love had always been, and would always be, in the air.
