Prompt: Affirmation 

Logan woke up, like he did every morning, put on his clothes and glasses, like he did every morning, and walked out of his room in the mindscape to the glorious smell of Patton's breakfast. Like he did every morning, Roman brushed past him with a kiss on the cheek and a murmured word in his ear, but Logan brushed it off as the romantic side being romantic. Roman did this to everyone, right? 

For the logical, observant side, it was surprising how he didn't notice the lack of affection towards Patton and Virgil. 

And so it went every morning, Roman showering him with affection and Logan seeing it as just flirting, harmless flirting. And it did hurt a bit, since Logan was harbouring an infintesimal crush - that was stupid. Logan didn't have feelings! Just push away the attraction, hide it and carry on. 

Until Roman cornered him, close to tears and his hair in a mess. "Logan, are you blind?" 

"What? No! Whatever lead you to that assumption?" 

Roman wiped his eyes and stared intensely. "Logan, I've been trying to date you every day for the past four months." Logan stepped back, shocked. That was definitely not what he expected to hear. 

"You . . . You like me? Romantically?" He had heard it perfectly fine before, but he needed affirmation to sort out the turmoil in his head. And he received it in the form of a princely hug, a blush creeping up his face and suddenly a new boyfriend.
