Nightmares
A/N: since this chapter is short, I'll be posting two chapters today!
"I hate airplanes."
"Really Dean? Wow, I had no idea, it's not like you haven't told me this at least seven times within the past two minutes."
Schneep smirked slightly as the Winchesters bickered with each other while waiting for their flight number to be called, the German's thoughts constantly drifting to Marvin.
"...right Doc?"
Schneep was brought back to reality by Dean lightly nudging him in the shoulder, both Sam and Dean looking at him expectantly.
"Sorry, I vas...spacing off." Schneep apologized as he shook his head, clearing away the painful "what if" scenarios plaguing his mind.
"Look, are you sure you want to come with us on the hunt? It'll be dangeroua, you might get hurt." Dean warned, the German letting out a long sigh.
"I can't just stay at home vhile my Zauber is in trouble, I have to try and help somehow." Schneep stated firmly.
"You keep calling Marvin zauber, what does it even mean?" Sam spoke up curiously, Schneep's face flushing a light red hue in embarrassment.
"Vhen I first found him in cat form, I took him in vhen I accidentally hit him vith my car and gave him zhe name Zauber, vhich is German for magic. I gave him zhe name since I considered it magic zhat he had survived." Schneep explained with a shrug.
"Wait a minute, you hit him with a car?" Sam blurted in disbelief, Dean chuckling quietly as he rested his hands behind his head.
"Dean, that isn't funny." Sam told his brother sternly, the older Winchester struggling to keep his expression neutral while Schneep rolled his eyes in exasperation.
"It's not like I meant to hit him, it vas early in zhe morning and I vas tired!" Schneep huffed indignantly, folding his arms across his chest.
"Flight three sixty-seven is open for boarding, I repeat, flight three sixty-seven is open for boarding." A female voice announced on the intercom, her voice carrying through the bustling airport.
"That's us." Dean grunted as he stood up, gathering his things before striding towards their flight with Sam and Schneep in tow.
"I vas vondering, vhy can't Cas take us to Ireland himself?" Schneep whispered to Dean as they boarded the plane, sitting in seats closest to the exit per Dean's request.
"He's busy working a different case." Dean answered in an equally hushed voice as Sam took a seat next to the window, Dean sitting next to him while Schneep sat in the window seat behind them.
"I need a drink." Dean grumbled as he gripped the sides of his chair to turn his knuckles white, the male gritting his teeth while Sam was biting his lip to restrain a smirk of amusement.
While the flight attendant quickly went through the safety instructions, Schneep only half listened as he glanced out the window while Sam tried to calm Dean to no avail.
"I'll find you Zauber." Schneep promised as the plane began rolling down the landing strip, the German watching the world fly by in a blur before becoming smaller as the plane ascended onto the air high above the clouds.
"Sam, I fucking want off this metal death trap." Dean hissed as Sam simply reclined back in his seat, the younger Winchester popping in earbuds.
"Better get comfortable Dean, the flight to Ireland is a few hours long." Sam remarked calmly before closing his eyes, ignoring Dean's previous statement.
Dean somewhat relaxed in his seat as he looked up at the ceiling, the male swallowing hard as he took a long breath in before releasing it.
"Son of a bitch."
