My name is Robyn Hood, I'm 15 and I'm an archer; I'm also broke, homeless and an orphan, have been since I was 10 when my father, my only family left was taken from me.

My life isn't all bad though and I'm not saying it's great either, just that it could be a lot worse. You see I'm not like the other street kids, they are weak, sick and vulnerable to everything around them and I'm the opposite of them since I'm strong, healthy and definitely not vulnerable, it's the guy infront of my bow and arrow that is vulnerable.

And you're also wondering how does someone like you survive out here even if you have a bow, I mean there is the risk of being stabbed in my sleep, going hungry or simply just dying so how do I do it?

Well over the years I've came up with some rules, rules of survival really and they are the things that really keep me alive, now my bow and not my allies. What am I kidding, I have no allies, the truth is I have nobody and everyone I've befriended has been killed by my enemies so now to prevent anyone else getting hurt I stay to myself and avoid contact with people when possible.

I walk down the street and get a few weird looks since I am carrying a bow but it's normally not as bad as this. I push up my sunglasses and cross the road ignoring every living thing around me.

But my attention and focus go to the only type of people I watch out for, cops. I've been chased a few times by cops and they never do see my identity but even if the do see my face my identity as Robyn Hood is fake anyways.

As I walk closer to the car I see one of the two cops inside talk into his radio and look at me and I know then and there I need to run the hell away before more copers come.

The cop opens his door and I run past the car with him following me and his partner in the car going elsewhere, they're trying to block me off again, who knows though maybe this time they will actually catch me? Yeah probably not.

I keep running and the cop starts to catch up with me but I'm still quite ahead of him. "Stop!" The cop orders at me and I keep running and people try to block my way but I run into an alley

The cop then talks into his radio asking for backup but before he says his location I take out my bow and put an arrow straight through his radio and he throws it at me in an attempt to make me stop but I keep running still. Now I think about it that could have sold on the market and got me something to eat for tonight, guess I could still sell it for something though...

"So officer, how much would one of these sell for? I know a few guys who'd love one of these?" I ask and the officer growls angrily.

"It's broken and who'd buy it anyway, Green Arrow?" The cop yells and I raise an eyebrow

"Green what?" I ask and laugh

"A visolante, a hero, maybe you should get a few tips from him you brat!" He yells and I climb up a brick wall quickly and look down at the exhausted cop and smile

"Maybe I will pay this Green Arrow a visit but in the mean time officer go see a trainer, maybe you could get a few tips from them and who knows, maybe you will be able to catch Robyn Hood next time" I say and smile at the enraged cop who takes out his gun and shoots at me.

I flip backwards dodging the bullet and I land in a pile of hay below and see I have an audience of homeless kids. I'm in my world now.

Ok so that was chapter one.... It's ok?

Idk this is my first green arrow fanfic and its based on the tv series "arrow" and the reason this book isn't great is because I may or may not have not watched any episode (not even episode one of season one) yet.

I am getting the boxset of season 1-3 in two days though so I excited to watch that. The reason I'm writing this before I watch the episodes are because I want to write it as I'm watching the episodes so my story will be more like the show. Also don't tell me anything about the show!

I am a fan of green arrow so I do know about speedy and red arrow etc but I don't know if they will be in the series yet. I'm all excited :p
