[Thursday - 07.51]

Minho clutched the one of his backpack straps that was hanging on his shoulder, looking around as he entered the huge venue.

"Office, office, offi- oop! Office!" The boy muttered under his breath, walking towards the huge sign that read 'office'.

The latter avoided people left and right, eventually making it to the office in one piece. Minho knocked on the door, waiting until a young man in his twenties opened it, letting him inside with a smile.

"What can I help you with?" The guy asked.

"I'm new, uuh, Lee Minho." Minho awkwardly said, smiling a forced smile.

"Right! Here's your schedule and a map of the school. Take a seat for a couple minutes, I'll call someone into the office to give you a tour." The latter smiled.

Minho bowed his head with a smile, taking a seat on one of the chairs beside the door he entered through. The man behind the desk pressed a button and called for a Hwang Hyunjin to come to the office.

Minho waited silently for about 4 minutes, until the door opened. In stepped a tall, slim and extremely handsome guy.

"Hwang Hyunjin? The volunteer?" The guy behind the desk asked, sending the latter a smile.

Said male nodded his head.

"Great. This is Lee Minho, correct?"

Minho nodded with a forced smile, meeting Hyunjin's eyes for a second before averting them.

"He's starting today, could you please give him a tour of the campus?"

"Sure." Hyunjin smiled, rolling back and forth on his heels and toes.

"Great, thank you. These are your hall passes, have a great day, the both of you."

Minho and Hyunjin both bowed, stepping out of the office side by side.

"So hey, I'm Hyunjin. Nice meeting you, dude." Hyunjin offered Minho his hand.

"I'm Minho. A-And it's nice meeting you too?" Minho enthusiastically accepted Hyunjin's handshake.

"So let's get started. Can I see your schedule?" Hyunjin asked, already reaching for it.

Minho let the latter grab it.

"Sweet! You're in the same lunch group as me and my friends. You should sit with us." Hyunjin handed the paper back to Minho.

"Yeah, sure. Sounds nice."

"Your locker is down this way, let's leave your stuff there before starting the tour." Hyunjin suggested, already a few steps ahead of Minho.

The latter followed along like a lost puppy, happy that Hyunjin was such an outgoing and talkative person, it made their whole interaction less awkward.

"-We also usually do basic physics even though it's chem-"

The loud bell cut Hyunjin off. The latter smiled, pulling Minho back in the direction of the cafeteria.

"C'mon, It's lunch, I'll get to introduce you to everyone." Hyunjin happily chippered.

"How many people are we talking?" Minho asked.

"Like 5 guys, me not include- *thud*"

Minho looked to the side, seeing a smaller human laying on top of Hyunjin. The latter quickly rolled off the taller, apologizing while standing up.

"Hey watch where you're going freak! I don't want your germs on me!" Hyunjin hissed, dusting off his jacket.

Minho was at loss of words. He never expected Hyunjin whom had been so nice to him all day, to spit such hateful words at the small human now on the floor, picking up their stuff.

The latter stood up, glancing in Minho's direction for a second before speeding off, not looking back.

Minho was unsure of the person's gender. They didn't really fit either stereotype. Their features were soft and very round, and could honestly belong to both a male and a female. Their hair was black and laying flat on their head, with the bangs falling into their eyes and the medium long hair elsewhere messily laying against their head. Their clothing was baggy and dark, looking like it had been inspired from some kind of Japanese street style. Minho especially noticed the small eyebrow piercing on the person's left eyebrow shining under the lighting as he made eye contact with the person, and also the small tattoo on their inner wrist.

"Who's that?" Minho asked, looking after the person.

"Stay away from him! He's a runner for a gang, and he's a walking drug-store. Probably addicted himself. Everyone hates and picks on him, so don't befriend him and expect different treatment." Hyunjin scoffed.

"They're a he?" Minho blurted out without thinking, feeling curious about the smaller human being.

"No one really knows. He's got no friends or anything so no one knows for sure, everyone just kind of calls him by male pronouns. He goes by Ja or Ji or Ju or something, no one even knows his name." Hyunjin shrugged, pulling Minho along to his table in the middle of the cafeteria.

A lot of eyes were on Minho as he entered together with Hyunjin, the latter was probably pretty popular, he at least seemed to be everyone's ideal type, both in looks and personality so far.

"Hey guys, this is Minho." Hyunjin said, sitting down in one of the free seats.

"Oh, yeah, the new guy. Lee Minho?" One immediately asked, offering Minho a handshake.

Minho accepted it, sitting down.

"Good job, mate. You're already the talk of the school." Another one chuckled, popping a fry in his mouth.

"R-Really?" Minho asked, kind of embarrassed.

"Yeah. Nothing bad, though. People are simping all over Instagram." A third newcomer smiled politely at Minho.

Minho smiled awkwardly, glancing around the room - meeting at least 30 pairs of eyes just by that simple gesture.

"What's your next class after lunch?" One with curly blonde hair asked.

"Uuuh... Math. 3 calculus." Minho answered, looking at his schedule.

"Nice, me too. We can go there together." The latter offered.

"Oh, thanks, that'd be great.... Uh?" Minho awkwardly trailed off.

"Chan. And this is Seungmin, Felix, Changbin, Jeongin, and I'm sure you know Hyunjin." Chan smiled.

Minho smiled back, bowing his head to greet everyone while meeting their eyes.
