Michonne's P.O.V

This is the end.

This is the moment where my hopes and dreams die.

This is the moment when a piece of me dies with the person that bullet met.

After the gun rang, a body dropped and I couldn't help but open my eyes.

"DAAAAAAD!" Carl screamed.

"NOOO!" My voice cracked, I screamed and yelled and everything slowed down.

Rick's body was lifeless on the ground, Carl and Jay and Andre-- they screamed, Mike cocked back his gun and slowly approached Rick and there wasn't a thing I could do about it.

My body felt like shutting down. It ached, and sharp pains reached from left and right, up and down. They shot through my stomach, my brain and my eyes. I didn't want to move, I didn't want to live on.

Abruptly, Mike swung the door open, his gun aimed at Rick and BANG.

He fell.

And there stood Jay, a gun in his hand and smoke blaring from the barrel.

Jay rushed in to help me, Carl crowded his father and Andre screamed and cried on the path.

Once I was untied, I immediately pushed past Jay, and Mike's body, and I clutched onto Rick's shirt.

I flipped him over and examined his bloody face.

He hadn't been shot in the head, instead, the bullet ran across his forehead.

He isn't dead.

"Rick, love," I smacked his face softly, yet hard enough to wake him up from the shock he may be in. "Sweetie. Open your eyes. Let me see those sparkly blue marbles I fell in love with," I smiled, on the verge of tears.

Carl sat with his hands in his hair.

"Dad?" He sobbed.

Rick's eyes began to open and he stared at me blankly, "what the hell just happened?"

"Jay call an ambulance!" Carl shouted, he scooted closer to Rick and I.

"I'll explain it to you later just, I'm, I'm just happy you're okay."

The tears streamed down my face and I kissed his bloody nose.

"Andre bud, come here." Jay fretted, his phone to his ear.

Andre, still crying, waddled to Jay, who met him halfway in a big hug that screamed 'its okay'.

"What's wrong with him?" Rick queried. He ran his fingers along his forehead, touching the gushing gash that leaked blood quicker than a split second.

Suddenly, I began to feel a little light headed. Between the amount of blood that was coming from his head, and the sharp pains in my body, I was on the verge of literally dying.

I woke up in a hospital. I didn't even know I fainted but I did. Around me, Rick, Jay and Carl stood.. staring down at me like I had been dead.

Rick's forehead was wrapped in multiple layers of gauze pads, and the boys still stared blankly.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Jay sighed

"I thought we were best cousins."

He turned and walked away toward the door until Carl stopped him, "jay wait--"

What the hell is going on?

Carl took a deep breath and closed his eye, "Maybe she has her reasons. It is kind of personal. You can't go around telling people you're pregnant, what if she's not even keeping it?!"

OH GOD

"Oh no! No! I mean, yes, I am. I'm keeping the baby and I'm-- we're sorry," I sighed, glancing at Rick. "we're sorry we didn't tell you two sooner that I was pregnant, but yes, it was personal."

"It's okay." Carl grinned "your secret it definitely safe with me."

"What about you Jay?" Rick implied, "can you keep a secret?"

"I don't know, can I?" He snarled.

"The baby's okay?" I blurted.

"Yeah," Rick smiled "everyone is okay."

And that's when it hit me

"Mike!"  I exclaimed, "where is he?"

Everyone fell silent.

"He's not dead," Jay sighed, his back still facing me "though I wish he was. He deserves to die."

What a sigh of relief though. Do you know how heavy my conscience would have been for the rest of my life?

"He's somewhere in the hospital, and after he's released he's going to jail.... and I have to go to court." Rick groaned.

"Why?"

"It was my gun."

Oh..

"Where's my son?!" I exclaimed.

"He's with the Greene's for the night. I hope you're okay with that."

"Of course," I nodded "now I just want to go home and cry."

"Me too." Carl nodded "today was too much for me I almost had a heart attack. Dad almost died, Jay shot someone, and to find out you're pregnant. I've got to say I've lost my mind."
