Building a Stage to biting

Third Person

Days or well really two weeks after Soul's classroom was completely trashed by someone they've been paying attention who's entering the building at all cost.

Students thought that they were overreacting because someone trashed a classroom, but they didn't know the story behind it.

In  two weeks the high school is going to have a night time festival because it was tradition for them to have one. The full moon would be out, the night sky will be out with all the stars and all it's shining glory.

These festivals were huge for the the classes that were going to graduate because it meant that they were taking that final step to become a hero. They were all so close, but so far. They would take school time to set up this huge festival.

Students and teachers would help because it was also tradition as well, but the teachers weren't sure if they should even to the festival this year. They were worried, but if they didn't so many teenagers would start asking questions.

Setting up the festival was a long process because their was going to be a lot of students attending, decorations to set up, planning for entertainment, making the food for everyone, setting up party games and prizes, selling shirt, hats, glow sticks and other goods.

EVERYTHING!

The students were glad to help with this amazing tradition because photos will be taken in the year book. The good moments and the messy moments in setting up this whole thing because they wanted everyone to see those moments.

Dipper, Mabel, Bill, Will, Andrew, Lady widow and Star were working the stage with Lighter because every group had one teachers. They were allowed to use their powers to set up the stage because some of the things were heavy.

Star was a mini generator for the power tools or anything that needed electricity for it to run and Star was happy about her job. Lady Widow and Lighter were melting the metal together to make the stage. The rest were holding the metal bars together on the ground making sure they wouldn't move me or holding the ladders.

"Hold the ladders still because we could mess if we move or fall off." Lighter said.
"We got it." Mabel and Star said holding the ladders.
"I'm trusting you guys to hold the large metal frames and we need them to be as still as possible." Lady Widow said.
"Is this even allowed?" Dipper asked.
"Well, students handling danger power tools isn't allowed but nothing said that you can't help us build a stage." Lighter said.
"I don't think this is legal?" Will said.
"This is a project, it's not like we're forcing you to do this." Lighter said mending the metal.
"It's going to be perfectly fine, as long as we don't get hurt." Andrew said.
"You two should stop worrying." Bill said.
"Bill I get worried about everything." Dipper said looking at Bill.
"Hold it still Andrew and Will." Lighter said.
"Sorry." They said.
"I think that's me." Mabel said.
"So this isn't child labor?" Will said.
"Well...." Lighter said.
"We're not talking about this." Star said.
"Don't answer his question." Mabel said.

The small group heard a huge explosion and it three students trying to rewire a machine that Maybee told them not to touch. The explosion was right next to the group that was building the stage.

"Is everyone okay!" Lighter yelled.
"Yeah!" The other group yelled.
"Sometimes I feel like people don't listen." Lady Widow said.
"If if you tell someone not to do it, they want to do it even more." Star said.
"That's so true." Mabel said.
"Everyone has that feeling that they can't ignore." Andrew said.
"I hope everyone really okay." Will said.
"Same." Dipper said.
"Don't worry it was just a small one, not a big one." Bill said.

Lighter and Lady Widow don't the ladder and went to see if the kids weren't lying about everything. They brought along Star because she was the only one around that can touch anything electric.

"WILL CAN YOU GET A FIRST AID KIT!" Lady Widow yelled.
"On it." Will raced away.

A another student that went up to our group and asked for Mabel because they needed something to use as a light source. The three boys were left watching the stage making sure that nothing broke.

"I hear something breaking." Andrew said.
"Where is it coming from." Bill asked Andrew.
"I hear it too, it's underneath the stage." Dipper said.
"I'll go under the stage and see if I can fix it." Andrew said.

Andrew crawled under the stage to see if he could fix whatever was broken or was about to break. The floor of the stage was already built meaning that the two other boys couldn't see Andrew once he entered.

They heard another crack come from under the stage and they went to where Andrew crawled through.

"I may need help." Andrew said.
"With what?" Bill asked.
"I made myself as the support beam for the stage at the moment and my powers are helping me do that, I just need someone to try to fix the broken one because it snapped in half." Andrew said.
"The mini explosion must of cause it somehow." Dipper said.
"I'm coming and Pinetree watch the beams and make sure they don't fall." Bill said.
"Alright." Dipper said.

Bill crawled under the stage and everything was dark and he used his phone flashlight to see where he was going. Bill saw the crack and tried to fix it with his powers, but that only made it worse for some reason.

Dipper started to noticed that the beam that Lighter did started to fall apart and he used his powers to hold it in place.

"Guys you better hurry up because Lighters beam broke." Dipper said.
"We may have a bigger problem." Andrew said.
"What did he do?" Dipper asked.
"I kind of broke it even more." Bill nervously said.
"Well you better fix it because if I leave this will fall on you." Dipper said.

Bill and Andrew tried to fix the broken beam but they both made it worse and then it already was. Then Lady Widows beam start to fall apart and Dipper rose his other hand to make sure that wouldn't fall.

"That didn't help!" Dipper yelled.
"SORRY!" Andrew and Bill yelled.

Bill started to use his powers to hold the beam in place, but it was also making Dipper's job harder without him knowing. Bill didn't know that he was also pushing the four main beams meaning Dipper was about to hold all four.

Lady Widows and Lighters beams were one of the four main beams, this wasn't going to be easy because Dipper was already holding two. Then the other beams snap like a twig and then Dipper started to hold the other two.

"What happened!?" Bill shouted.
"Two other beams broke and I'm holding all four now." Dipper said.
"How did those break!?" Andrew said.
"I don't know, but these thing got a lot heavier than their suppose to be and I'm not strong enough to hold these alone." Dipper said.

Dipper was slowly sliding backwards and was getting worried that he'll slip and falling making the four beams fall on them. Dipper kept walking forward making sure that they wouldn't fall on them.

"I can't hold them any longer." Dipper said.
"LIGHTER!" Bill and Andrew shouted from the top of their lungs.

Dipper stomped his foot and shadow like figures appeared on the ground. Dipper told one to help Andrew to be a support beam, another to help Bill fix the beam, one to help hold one of the beams with him and one to get Lighter.

"What the fuck is that!" Andrew said.
"Andrew it's a shadow don't be such a baby, it's helping you." Dipper said.
"Cool." Bill said.

Dipper's eyes started to glow a bright white and so did the shadow figures helping, his hands were also turning a pitch black.

"Dipper!" Mabel rushed over.
"Mabel?" Andrew said.
"It's falling apart." Bill said.

Soon after Lady Widow, Lighter, Will and Star came with Dipper's little shadow friend.

"H-Help." Dipper said.

Will used his powers to get one of the beams off Dipper's hands and the shadow figure pulled on Star's and Widows shadows.

"What the fuck is that!" Lady widow said.
"You know what...fuck this." Dipper said.
"Will let go." Dipper said.

Will listen to Dipper, but he was confused about why he asked him to it. Dipper felt complete stupid because this would have been easier even if they had to start over on their work. Dipper removed the broken beams and placed them on the ground neatly.

The shadows that Dipper summoned went to Bill and Andrew and they fixed the beam from underneath. The two boys quickly crawled out under the stage and saw Lighter with everyone else. Dipper died once he stopped holding the heavy beams.

Dipper fell back and looked at the sky.

"Dipper are you still alive?" Star poked Dipper.
"L-Let me die for a quick second." Dipper said.
"We have to restart now." Lighter said.

Star backed away when the shadow figures started to hiss at her for being so close to Dipper, they didn't want anyone near them.

"HISS!" The four figure said.
"No biting me." Dipper said to them.
"Should we be worried?" Will asked.
"I don't really know, I've only seen them once." Mabel said.
"Pinetree are you alright?" Bill said.

Dipper sat up and looked at everyone, but their eyes widen because they saw bite marks on Dipper's arms and one on his neck. The good thing was that his skin was back to normal and his eyes as well.

"Dipper?" Andrew said.
"What's up?" Dipper smiled.
"Bite marks." Star pointed out.
"Not again." Dipper said.
"Again!?" Mabel said.
"They bite me when their afraid of losing me from people." Dipper said.
"Should we be worried or not?" Lady Widow asked.
"Don't be their harmless but they are territorial with things." Dipper told them.
"What are they?" Lighter asked.
"Their like my children to me because I care for them a lot and they care for me, I don't know what they are but I call them shadows." Dipper told them.

Dipper stood up and noticed that the shadows were scared of something, they all felt this cold feeling.

"Dipper is this one yours?" Lighter asked.
"That isn't mines, but it comes from the same side." Dipper said.
"rawr." It was a baby sounding one.
"That melted my heart." Mabel said.
"That sounded so cute." Star said.
"Awe." Lady Widow and Lighter said.
"Found them." Soul said.

The innocent sounding one turned a little bigger and was about to attack the four shadows that was ready to attack. Dipper's eyes glowed and looked into the eyes of the other shadow, but it shrank into it's regular size and went into Dipper's arms.

Dipper snapped his fingers and the other four were gone because he knew that they would attack. Dipper held the poor little scared shadow and smiled at it.

"What the?" Soul said.
"Soul's plan failed." Lighter started to laugh.
"Did Soul scare you?" It nodded.
"This can't be funnier." Lighter laughed.
"Shut up Lighter." Soul said.
"She's a bully isn't she?" It nodded yes again.
"Damn Dipper is secretly making fun of Soul." Will chuckled.
"Soul doesn't noticed it either because she's nagging at Lighter."  Lady Widow said.
"This is the best." Andrew said.
"Am I the only on confused or worried about Pinetree's bite marks?" Bill said.
"Don't worry that meanie won't hurt you anymore." Dipper said.
"OoOoOo!" Lighter said.

Pov Dipper

I didn't mean to secretly make fun of Soul, but she's was scaring the little thing to death and that isn't fun to watch. Lighter just kept laughing about the whole think because apparently these were a type of spirit or ghost type thing. I never knew that.

"Soul can be a scary because she doesn't have much social skills sometimes." I jokingly said.
"Wait, I heard that!" Soul said.
"Just making sure." I chuckled.
"Dipper you're so doomed after this." Mabel said.
"I don't care." I said.
"Damn he gives no fuck." Lighter said.

We all started to laugh as Lighter said that and my laughter started to die down because this one was biting me. I wasn't mad because I somewhat lied to everyone that they bite me because they weren't territorial. They kind of use me as a energy, but I'm not mad because they keep my powers from going wild.

So it's kind of a blessing and curse because this does hurt me, but this could also help me at the same time. Soul noticed and she stomped her foot so it'll stop, but it didn't listen to her.

"I'm so sorry Dipper." Soul went up to me.
"Can you please let go?" I asked nicely.
"HOW DO YOU GET THEM TO LISTEN TO YOU!" Soul shouted even though she was right in front of me.

I noticed that my group started to work on the stage without me. Soul was scaring the poor thing again and I looked at her.

"You're scaring it Soul." I said.
"How?" She asked.
"I don't know." I said.
"Why do you have bite marks?" Soul asked.
"The four that I summon bites me but it's all good, like this one. They feed off my powers and I don't mind because you know what I'm going though with my powers." I said.
"Well I gonna get this one back to it's world and go check on my group because I've left them for too long." Soul said.

Soul snapped her fingers and the little cutie was gone and she raced away to make sure her group wasn't doing anything stupid. I went back to the others and started to help Bill that was holding the beams.

After another two hours we finally got back where we were before, when all the main beams were up and everything was stable. Three more hours later the while stage part was up and Lighter made sure it was stable enough for us to put the lights on the stage.

"Star you're up." Lighter said.
"YAY!" Star was excited to be a human generator.
"Why are you so happy about that?" Widow asked.
"I don't really know." Star said.
"You confuse me." Mabel said.
"I guess I like using my energy to help people." Star said.
"She charges my phone once by accident, but I was thankful." Andrew said.
"By accident?" I said.
"Well sometimes when I get really happy my powers just go off." Star said.
"She doesn't even own a charger and I bet her electricity bill is low." Will said.
"It's very low." Star smiled.
"Just go help Lighter." Bill said.

Lighter told us to untangle the wire for the lights because that was going to be the biggest challenge. I know that was going to take a while for us to do.

"Their so dusty." Widow said.
"These have been in the school warehouse for a while now, so roll up your sleeves so you don't dirty your uniforms." Lighter said.
"Alright." We all said.

After a while of sitting on the ground trying to untangle the wires then I realized that Mabel kept staring at me and I was getting unconformable.

"Is something bugging you sis?" I asked.
"Yes." Mabel said.
"Like..." I said.
"The bite marks just worry me." Mabel said.
"Those things kind of looked scary." Widow said.
"They don't look scary." I said.
"They were pitch black." Will said.
"They have eyes." I said.
"They did?" Andrew said.
"Yeah." I said.
"They glowed white." Bill said.
"Bill is right." I said.
"There's two on your forearm on your right side and one on your left." Mabel said pointing at them.
"They aren't that bad." I said.
"Pinetree." Bill said.
"It didn't hurt." I said.
"Pinetree." Bill said.
"It did a little." I said.
"Theirs two on your neck." Mabel said.
"Wait what!" Bill said.

Bill pulled me closer and looked at my neck while Lady widow, Andrew and Will were trying to hold in their laughs.

"Bill he said that they bite his neck." Will said trying to hold the laugh.
"REALLY!?" Bill said.
"You weren't paying attention were you?" Andrew said.
"Pinetree!" Bill said.
"It's not a big deal to me." I said.
"It is to Bill." Widow said.
"And me." Mabel said.
"It's not a big deal they weren't doing it for no reason." I said.

"They were territorial over you." Widow said.
"That does seem like a valid reason." Will honestly said.
"They really didn't want us near him Will." Andrew said.
"Star was near him and they kept on hissing." Bill said.
"Their territorial." I said.
"Dipper you're lying." Mabel said.
"I'm not." I said.
"I can tell and I didn't want to say it earlier." Mabel said.
"Pinetree." Bill said.

I looked at Mabel and then Bill and signed. I hate that they know when I'm lying or not sometimes because it gets annoying.

"Fine...." I said.
"They feed off my power when they barely have energy or they just want to take advantage of it, not big deal." I said.
"What?!" Mabel and Bill said.
"That's confusing." Will said.
"Their weird things behind my powers and those things that I don't have the answers too, but that's all I really know." I said.
"So they feed off you when their basically weak or just want to annoy you?" Andrew said.
"Yep." I said.
"Doesn't that make you weak?" Widow asked.
"A little, but not that much it just depends how much they take from me." I said.

I felt my back on Bill's chest, his arms were around me and he was basically hugging me at this point. I looked at him and then looked at Mabel and they were both worried about me, but Bill was the cutest.

"Don't worry it's not like I'm going to die from it." I said.
"But still...." Mabel said.
"We worry." Bill said.
"Theirs nothing to worry about you two." I said.
"I'm not letting you go now." Bill said.
"I'm cool with that." I said.
"Are you really?" Mabel asked.
"Yes because I can do this if I want him to let go of me." I said.

I smiled and kissed his cheek, Bill blushes a light pink as I smile at him. Bill let's go for a second and then hold me again. Everyone chuckles and Bill quickly gives me the smallest peck on the lips.

"Your just the cutest sometimes." I smiled.
"That's adorable." Lighter said.
"We finished!" Will said.
"We did?" Andrew said.
"We did!" Widow cheered.
"I was charging Lighters phone." Star said

We started to set up the lights now and then after that we were done because that was our job for the day. Star made sure that no wires were poking out because we didn't want any fires to happen.

Everything was going just fine.
