As the next day came, Ren's alarm clock rang and he quickly got out of bed and went to the washroom to wash his face.

Amber on the other hand clicked the snooze button on her alarm and was trying to get a couple more minutes of sleep left before her mother was personally going to wake her up.

Once Ren was done washing his face, this was the first time he ever stared at his face long enough to try finding all his features.

Compared to most foreign people, they looked more masculine and manly but to Ren, he looked gentle and fragile.

Ren shook his head, then saying to himself "they're just playing around with me" then started to brush his teeth.

"AMBER WAKE UP!" Their mother calls, banging on Amber's bedroom door and Amber got up in a grunt.

As Amber got to the washroom, Ren was now brushing his long hair and Amber took her toothbrush and started brushing her teeth.

"I don't want to go to school today..." Ren says in a faint voice.

Amber then gave him a confused expression as she asks "why, I like the school I'm in."

"I...just don't like it." Ren says, not wanting to tell his sister he's been getting bullied.

"Let's go" amber says after she was done brushing her teeth and didn't even bother to wash her face or do her hair.

"Aish, wash your face at least!" Ren exclaims and you could hear Amber chuckle from down the hall.

As the two siblings were ready, their father couldn't drive them to school today so they had to take the bus.

"You two know how to get there, right?" Their mother asks, looking at both of them seriously.

"We know, we know" Amber says, reassuring their mother that they would be alright.

Once Ren was finally done getting ready for school, both siblings walked to the bus stop which wasn't too far from their house and waited for the bus.

After a good twenty minutes of just waiting for the bus, it finally came and Ren and Amber finally both got on and sat down.

Since it was so early in the morning it wasn't as jam packed like it was when they were going home from school.

Ren then asks in a smile "see, waking up early does have its advantages." Which Amber just rolled her eyes too.

Even though there were a couple other people on the bus, they were also confused and couldn't tell if Ren was a girl and if Amber was a boy.

As Ambers stop came up, Amber said bye to her brother as she got off and left her brother alone.

It wasn't like Ren was left alone for a long time since his stop was only two or three stops after.

Meanwhile with Amber she was one of the first people in the school.

Once she got to school, she didn't know what to do since it was still so early so she want to her locker and started organizing it, since she hadn't had the chance to do so the previous day.

After she organized her locker a bit more, she then went to an outlet and sat next to it on the floor and started charging her phone as she was playing games on it.

As Amber was playing games on her phone, she then saw someone standing before her and looked up to see it was Krystal.

Amber smiled as she saw Krystal and asks "hey, what're you doing here so early?"

"I'm here cause my teacher said I need to retake one of my quizzes so she said to come in early so I could do it. It seems she's not even here yet...but I should be asking you that." Krystal says, looking down at Amber.

"Oh, well my brother always wants to be early including my mom waking me up, its bothersome" Amber says in a sigh.

Krystal then had a big smile on her face as she says "well its alright, at least you're not late."

Amber sighed once again just seeing the smile on Krystal's face and says "how can you be so bright and cheery in the morning, I'm still so tired."

"Well if you're that sleepy you can go to sleep. I'll stay with you and tell you when to wake up when I need to take my quiz, alright?" Krystal asks, now sitting down next to Amber.

"Really, you mean it?" Amber asks.

Krystal just nodded as she patted her shoulder for Amber to lean on and Amber did so.

As Amber closed her eyes and was leaning on Krystal's shoulder, she then started to feel her heart pound.

Amber wanted to get up and grab her chest, confused on why it was pounding but she decided to ignore it since she didn't want to get out of the comfortable position she was in.

With the wonderful scent of perfume Krystal had on, and how everything about her was soft, Amber felt like she was in total bliss, leaning on her shoulder.

As she thought more into it, her heart started to pound faster which made her even more confused.

Back with Ren he was the first one at school other than the janitor who was opening classrooms, turning on lights and so on.

Ren yet also had nothing to do so he went on his phone as well and started listening to his music with his ear buds in.

After a couple minutes teachers and students then started to enter the school.

"Pretty boy is already here" a kid says down the hall to a couple of his friends that were behind him and by the jerseys they were wearing, it looked like they were at school that early for basketball practice.

The group of boys then walk around Ren and one of them then ask "why're you here so early?"

Ren cleared his throat a bit before talking as he says "w-well, I woke up early..."

"Pretty boy's an early riser, what a cute kid" the boy says in a teasing matter, ruffling Ren's hair and pushing down on his head a little too hard.

Ren wanted to say owe, but he felt that if he did, they'd go harder.

After the boy took his hand off of Ren's head, Ren started to fix his hair.

"Why's your hair so long, its weird!" A kid says, grabbing Ren's hair and pulling on the end of it.

"And your skins really clear, what the heck" another kid says, poking his face.

"You put too much effort into looking like a girl, faggot" another boy says, chuckling right after.

As the two other boys stopped poking his face and pulling at his hair, they then let go and started teasing his appearance again.

"Hey you guys, you should be in the gym!" A deep voice calls from behind and as they turn around they roll their eyes.

"We were going" the group of boys say before leaving Ren and walking away.

As Ren looked up at the boy who had just "saved" him in a way, he was surprised to see it was JR.

"Its you!" JR exclaimed, almost just as shocked as Ren was to see him.

JR then shook his head a bit as he asks "wait, so you're the brother?"

Ren just shyly nodded as he could feel his cheeks turning a bright pink by the second as JR started to get closer.

"Sorry, I thought you were the sister... It was an honest mistake, i'm really sorry dude" JR says in an awkward chuckle.

Ren then looked at the jersey JR was wearing and says "basketball?"

"Yeah, I'm on the basketball team, I'm the captain." JR explains in a proud smile.

Ren smiled as he says "that's good."

JR then says before walking away "I got to go to basketball practice so I'll see you around...and if those guys pick on you again, tell me."

With that JR then waved goodbye to Ren before leaving Ren and heading up the stairs to the gym.

Ren's head was still hurting a bit from when the kids pulled on his hair but he was flushed into embarrassment now knowing his hot next door neighbor goes to the same school he does.
