Jealousy
There might be a slight trigger warning in this chapter, so just to let you know, I want to make sure that this experience is the best for all of you guys, so if you need to stop reading, because it's making you uncomfortable or anything like that, let me know, and I'll try to explain what happened in further chapters with a little less detail.

Noah's p.o.v
I can't help but feel hopeful. Millie hugged me, and told me she missed me! It was truly like a dream come true after what had happened with her and Finn. That few days were almost unbearable, and it made me so incredibly happy to have it turned around. So naturally I hadn't thought about anything else for the past week
It was crazy what just one girl could do. She could turn my world upside down if she wanted too, and so far, she already kind of had.
---------------------------------
Ahh school, a place that gives me an amount of anxiety that seems impossible. All of the people constantly talking, a select few of them waving as I walk by, because we're in the same class. But all I cared about was getting to my friends.
They were the only one's that weren't blood related that cared about me, and that was something that felt very reassuring to know.
I didn't want to have all of the bullies find me, I think that they had forgotten about me, because I hadn't gone to school in a week. And that was of course a good thing. Maybe it was Millie though, she seemed to have scared them off quite well.

Millie's p.o.v
Today was my date with Finn. Today was the day. Uggh. That is going to suck. I am going to try and break up with him today anyways. I can't pretend anymore, every day, I fall harder and harder for Noah.
"Hey babe," Finn wrapping his arm around my shoulders.
"Hi Finn," I responded, trying not to tense up too much. I didn't want Noah to see Finn and I, even if he didn't like me back, I still wanted a chance.
"I'm excited for our date tonight," He whispered.
"Yeah, me too, there's actually something that I need to tell you," I responded, trying to turn towards Finn.
"Sure sweetheart. Whatever you want!" He smiled before going to walk to class.
Sometimes, I amazed myself at how I was able not to cry, or puke, or anything like that. When Finn called me anything other that Millie, or even Mills, it just made me way too uncomfortable. So I have absolutely no idea about how our date will go. What if he trys to kiss me? What am I going to do then? Its not like I can make an excuse to leave! Well, that can wait I guess. Right now the classroom calls, and yes I will probably try to get this whole thing off my mind, but will it work? Probably not.
--------------------------------------------
(Time skip-I'm sorry)
"Sadie please!" I begged. I wanted someone to watch the date Finn and I were having, and Sadie already knew that I didn't like him.
"I can't Mills, I have to..... do my homework," Sadie said, starting to hang up the phone.
"NO! PLEASE DON'T DO THIS TO ME!!!" I said, mustering up my best puppy dog eyes.
"No Mille, I can't," Sadie said, hanging up.
It almost made me think that Sadie was hiding something from me. Why would she do something like that? We're best friends!
Wait. I could try and ask either Caleb or Gaten! But that would involve explaining my crush to them, and that is something I would not like to do. Or there's always Chloe. But she's Noah's sister! I don't know. I guess I'll just go alone.
Just as I was about to get up, my phone started ringing, and a name that I really didn't want to see or even think about was the caller.
"Hey Mills!" Finn said happily, "I'm almost to your house, because I thought it would be more romantic if we walked to our date spot,"
"Oh, sure, I'm almost done getting ready!" I responded, trying to get off the phone as soon as possible.
"Well ok, see you soon!"
"Yeah ok, bye Finn," I finished before hanging up.
If I knew anything, this date was not going to be very enjoyable.

Noah's p.o.v
Chloe and I were supposed to go into town and get ice cream today. And don't get me wrong, I was excited to go, but in a way, I'd just rather stay home. Social situations really aren't my strong suit, and it would take someone really dumb, not to figure that out.
"C'mon Noah! It's time to go!" Chloe yelled, already opening the door.
"Ok, coming!" I yelled back, making sure to grab my phone and wallet.
As we started walking down the street. I couldn't help but wonder what Millie was doing right now. Maybe she would want to come with us, and then I could buy her ice cream, and then she might just start liking me, as in more than a friend of course.
I mean, I knew we were already friends, and that was just so amazing, but what if rather than Finn being the groom at her wedding, it was me. The thought gave me goose bumps, to be able to spend the rest of my life with someone as amazing as Millie, well it would, to say the least, be a dream come true.
Millie was so perfect, and I know I kind of sound like a broken record saying that, it could not be more true. And if I got to tell her that for the rest of my life, or even just for a little bit, it would make me feel so happy.
"Noah stop day dreaming about Millie, I just had to pull you back onto the street, because you almost got hit by a car!" Chloe said, it was kind of funny when she started acting like a mom.
"Ok Mom," I drawled, trying to act like a toddler, but what I say, made me drop the act.
Right as Chloe and I were crossing the street into the park, I saw them. Millie, and Finn were sitting together on a plad blanket, and they were kissing.
I couldn't stop the tears from welling up in my eyes, just as I was starting to get hopeful, Finn just had to come and prove that Millie was his, Millie was going to love him and not me.
"Noah, stop! You need to wait for the red light!" Chloe screamed.
But I was too far away, and her saying that only made me run faster. At this point, I didn't even care how much of a scene I was causing, all that mattered was that I needed to get away. Away from Millie, away from Finn, away from everything and everyone.
So, I didn't care when I started to cross the street. I didn't care, that I was jaywalking, or that there were still cars coming. And quite frankly when, Millie screamed from me to come back, I just ran farther into the street, a street where it was so easy to get hit when the cars were coming, but I didn't care.
Right as I was about to finish crossing the street, that's when it hit me. Quite literally. A huge black truck, came barreling down the road, happening to barrel into me as well. I got knocked backwards, my back slamming into the concrete. And the last thing that I remember before passing out, was Millie's scream of horror, when I didn't get back up.
