"Don't act all aloof, we all know that's your favorite Disney show."

"It is not."

"Why do you need an assistant stage manager anyway if you're going to do all the work?"

"The administration is requiring it."

"Ugh."

"Hey, if it makes you feel any better, you won't be the only worker who's there by force."

"I don't believe you."

"Believe me already. His name is Eric, he's Sophie's twin."

"Sophie? The crazy drama chick you always ditch me for?"

"Don't get all passive aggressive, I don't ditch you ever. But yes, she and I are friends. And she convinced Eric to help with sound design. You'll have a buddy."

"Please stop talking about it like I need a playdate."

"Come on, you only have to see him if you want to! If you want to sit around all loner-ish, you can. You don't even have to talk to him. Okay?"

"Fine."
