There was rock music playing from a computer on the coffee table. Everyone in the room stayed silent as they listened. No one was smiling, especially not Goshi.
The music finally ended and you were the first to speak. You said softly, "Maybe if we listen one more time--"
You were interrupted by Goshi. "It doesn't matter how many times we listen," he began. "It won't change my opinion."
Ever since THRIVE started on a new song, Goshi had complained that the arrangement wouldn't work and that their voices need to be louder. Kento was starting to get annoyed with his complaints, saying they were professionals and he needs to accept things for what they were. You couldn't do much about it since the song was in another songwriter's hands.
As if he was reading your mind, Goshi turned to Shuuji, the man in charge of THRIVE and asked in a harsh tone, "What's the point in having a new songwriter if she can't even do anything?"
"First, you're complaining about the song. Now _____?" Kento questioned. "You should just accept things as it is."
"Quit acting like a goody-two-shoes!"
"Unlike you, I'm an adult."
They kept going back and forth before Yuta stood up to stop the two. He told Goshi they should all talk about it since it was "their" song. This only seemed to tick Goshi off even more since he picked up his guitar case and walked to the door in a fit.
You heard him mutter, "...friggin useless..." as he slammed the door behind him. Just as you were about to go after him, Shuuji said, "Leave him be. He's always like that."
"Gochin doesn't like being an idol," Yuta explained. "He's like, 'I don't see the point in sucking up more than I need to.'"
Kento added, "That kind of attitude is why he's a child."
You thought to yourself, "THRIVE is completely different to Kitakore--"
Shuuji pushed something forward on his desk for you and Tsubasa to see. "This magezine's going to do an article on THRIVE," he simply said as you picked it up.
Almost immediately did you recognize the cover, which was really quite unfortunate. Yuta laughed, "Gochin hates those types of magazines."
Shuuji smirked and went on, "I haven't told Goshi yet. That's your job, _____."

Kento and Yuta led the way to the building they lived in. Once the three of you, including Tsubasa, got there, they met up with a few of the other B-Pro members. You weren't really that interested in their conversation as you were thinking of how to tell Goshi, but you took a seat next to the others.
The boys continued their conversation with Tsubasa as you drank your tea absentmindedly. How were you going to tell Goshi when you knew he was going to be annoyed...
Tsubasa suddenly stood and exclaimed, "Kanoshiro-san!" Everyone looked at Goshi as he walked up to them.
"What is this?" he asked, his mood clearly not getting any better. "A gathering of lazy bums?" For some reason, Goshi looked your direction in particular.
Pouting, Yuta whined, "But we really don't have anything to do." Goshi didn't seem to know what to say and just stood there...so you took the opportunity...
You held up a magazine and said, "Speaking of something to do, you'll be busy at a shoot tomorrow for Kiss & Hug, Goshi."
"Oh, really?" was all he said in a bored tone.
Yuta spoke up again, "Yeah, about that. I wonder how many pages our article will be." He stood extremely close to you.
"I thought their offer was for a sexy dual-page photo of me," Kento said jokingly.
"Actually..." you began to say. "We only managed to get one page, but better than nothing, right?"
Turning away, Goshi muttered, "I don't have time for this." With that, we walked to the barista and headed off somewhere after grabbing a cup of something.
You were about to go after him, but Kento stopped you. "Don't," he said. "He's just going down to the basement studio alone to blow off some steam."
Yuta nodded in agreement and reassured you, "Besides, despite everything he says, Gochin always does his job."
Thinking back to what Yuta had said earlier about Goshi, you thought, "He clearly isn't fond of being an idol yet he still does his job...?" You kept quiet as you watched Goshi disappear around a corner, knowing better than to question this odd group of boys.

Going out late just to buy a few snacks wasn't the greatest thing. Being called near midnight to do so was any better.
Yuta had woken you up to come with him to buy some "limited edition rainbow pudding." He said Kento or Yashamaru would scold him if he went out alone in the middle of the night.
It was a good thing he made it quick because you wanted to get back to bed since you had had countless sleepless nights. At the moment, the two of you were riding a taxi back to the apartments. Yuta had called Kento to say where you and him had gone. You did the same with Yashamaru, but strangely enough, he wasn't answering.
"Maybe he's resting," you thought. "He is a company director after all and it's the middle of the night..."
The taxi stopped at a red light and you looked out. Suddenly, something caught your eye. It seemed it was the same with Yuta.
"Is that..." you began to say, but the light turned green and the taxi drove on. You and Yuta faced forward again.
Without thinking, you rested your head on Yuta's shoulder and closed your eyes. 'I must be so tired I'm seeing things,' you thought. 'That couldn't have been Yashamaru meeting with a lady...right?'

It was the day of the photo shoot for the magazine, and sure enough, Goshi showed up.
However, he had been scowling the entire time and there weren't any photos of him smiling at all.
"Kaneshiro-san, let's try getting some cuter poses," the photographer finally said.
Goshi got up while saying, "Cuter? Seriously? I don't get it..."
Yuta suddenly pounced on him, poking his cheek playfully. As he did so, Yuta teased, "Gochin, you'll make me sad if you keep making that scary face." The photographer took photos as Goshi tried to get Yuta off and failed. Kento sat back in the pillows and plushies to watch with a smirk on his face.
"Good morning," a woman called out as she walked in. Everyone stopped what they were doing and followed the figure of a women walking over. "How's it going?" she continued. "You'd better be getting some good shots."
The woman started nagging the staff, including the photographer himself, and had the nerve to order hot coffee from anyone who was free.
Turning to Tsubasa without looking away from the woman, you said, "That's the editor-in-chief of Kiss & Hug. She looks oddly familiar..." You had trailed off on that last part which made Tsubasa give you a concerned and confused face. Ignoring her stare, you look over at the boys of Thrive and made temporary eye contact with Yuta. Did he know...?
