Shouto had just gotten off of work, and he was walking out of his agency, and to his car to get his after-work clean up bag, when he saw a lady with a flower cart across the street. He paused, his hand still on his car door handle. She had a nice array, and Shouto immediately thought of his Mother when he saw them.

Rei loved flowers.

After only a moment of hesitation, Shouto backed away from his car and went over to the flower stand. He bought enough flowers to maybe count as a bouquet, thanked the woman, then went back to his car. He didn't bother going back to clean up, and just drove out of the parking lot, and went to the hospital his Mother was at. He hadn't seen her in awhile anyway.

Shouto softly knocked on the doorframe of Rei's open door, smiling as he peeked in a bit. "Hey, Mom.." He said, stepping into the room only a couple steps. "I bought you flowers, but I.. didn't have time to change or get cleaned up." He glanced down at his hero uniform briefly, which had varying amounts of dust and grime. "Sorry.."
