"I.." Shouto swallowed. "I have to.. to say something."

"What is it, Todoroki-Kun?" Ochaco asked sweetly, smiling.

".. We're friends, right?" He asked.

"Of course!" Ochaco replied immediately. "We were classmates for several years, and you were Deku's friend, and he was my friend, and then you were his friend and my acquaintance, and then you were my friend too, and now you're one of my best friends." She finished with a smile.

Shouto smiled warmly, feeling more at ease. 'She's been spending too much time around Midoriya.' He thought to himself.

"Good. Because.. Well, I have to say something."

"Alright." She said, smiling.

"You..- You're really cute." He started, a blush forming on his cheeks. "And for awhile now, I've been.. wanting to kiss you."

Ochaco blushed at this, but a small smile stayed on her lips.

"But I don't just want to kiss you.. I think- well, I think I want to-"

"Date me?" The girl asked, her blush brightening.

Shouto hesitantly nodded.

"Well, that's a relief." Ochaco giggled. "Because I kinda want to date you too."

Shouto visibly relaxed. "R-Really?"

"Really."

"So can I.." Shouto stepped towards her, looking a tad nervous. "May I kiss you?"

"If you don't kiss me.. I'll just have to kiss you." Ochaco said with a smile. Over the years, she had become a little less meek and shy- especially around those she knew and cared about.

"Then I guess I'll have to hurry up." Shouto smiled wryly, to which she giggled. He placed a hand on her cheek, before leaning in to press a soft kiss to her lips.

After a moment, he pulled back the tiniest bit. He was about to ask if that was okay, though she cut him off.

"My turn~" She said softly, before kissing him again.
