TodorokiSho: So we babysat again.

This time overnight.

I was terrified.

But, before Mrs. Bakugou left, she told me something. She told me that no one starts out good with children. Some start out better than others, but no one starts out good. She told me that I had yet to kill that child, so I must be doing something right (yeah I probably looked more scared). But, then she added, "Listen. Todoroki. Katsuki says you're improving. You're doing fine. Don't overthink it.. and if anything goes wrong, you can always blame Katsuki."

So the first day was tiring. But before I talk about that, I kind of want to talk about how I'm improving! I didn't forget anything. I remembered nap times, feeding times, I remembered to lay her on her tummy, and burp her- and Katsuki made me change her diapers all day ("You need practice, Shouto.") While that may be true, I firmly believe he just didn't want diaper duty. I remembered how to mix the milk, and make sure it was just the right temperature.

And she giggled at me. She giggled at me! Katsuki was holding her, and I was behind him, and she just stared at me with those adorable little eyes; one of her tiny little hands in her mouth, and the other grasping Katsuki's shirt. And, I don't know why I did it, but I puffed out my cheeks and crossed my eyes, and somehow that was hilarious.

And, yes, I did get excited. I got very excited. She hadn't done that in the past, and I think it was because my scar scared her, or something.. but! But now we're on a 'first-name-baby-gurgle' basis so, you know, we're getting there!

Now. As for that photo.

Later in the evening, Katsuki and I put her to bed, and were just getting to bed ourselves. It was nice to finally have some alone time, and some sleep.

However, Bella had different plans, and started to get fussy.

For about an hour of off-and-on sleeping and crying, Katsuki and I just decided: Screw it. We'll just let her sleep with us. (Neither of us move around at all, and once we choose a position, we usually wake in that exact position, so it was perfectly safe.). And guess what.

All of us slept all through the night. And, to my genuine surprise, Bella did not need a change in the morning.

But, uhm, yeah. That was our first overnight experience!... nobody died, so I'm happy.
