Gumdramon POV

"We need to talk... NOW" Said my uncle. He'd never been like this before, usually he just says no or sure but this time he actually got serious... I heard him sigh and then scratched his head. "Gumdramon, you do realize that I've always supported you in anyway, shape or form, right?" I nodded. He's gonna lay it on me... "You're not dating him, period! He's NOT a good influence and not even female!" He looked at me straight in my eyes and said the following words coldly. "Then explain to me.. the reason as to why... you never talked about Shoutmon...!?" The words made me feel like my heart was breaking, I couldn't speak and even if I did, all I could really do was just breath in and sigh heavily. "I trust you enough to let you live alone when I basically live a block or two away and you don't even tell me that you're thinking of dating him?"

We have been... we just didn't have enough courage to bring it up... "How long has it been since you two have been together... I'm sure that it wasn't yesterday... or today... You two have thought and done this for a while, haven't you?" I nodded. If we're going to tell him, then it needs to be the truth... "T-two years.. s-since Christmas..." He sighed again and raised his finger. "Shoutmon! Would you come here please???"

Shoutmon POV

Ahh hecc, here we go again... If it ain't Jijimon then it's gotta be Gummy's uncle... "Coming!" I made my way to the living room, where I saw Gumdramon more pale than before Dorumon came. "Sit." I do as I am told and try to keep my eyes toward him. "Shoutmon, I'm gonna ask you 3 simple questions, and I want you to be honest, cuz Gumdramon ain't gonna say anything right now due to how he's reacting to this side he's never seen before... so... Here we go...." Again the waiting felt like it was forever... "1. How can I guarantee that you're gonna be on Gumdramon's side, no matter what?" I hesitated to speak, right now there isn't much I can say... just from what happened with Veemon... "I... I can't show you because there isn't anything that I would need to protect him from... unless... you decide for something to happen... or to be done..." He crossed his hands.

"2. Why should I let you be with Gumdramon?" Pffp, do you really have to ask? "Because I'll protect him at all costs and will give him everything I can give him." He looked down and then back to me. "Then why do you have specialty items on you right now.?" I blush and Gumdramon just hides his head down deeper into his hands. "M-my dad gave them to me... e-ever since we talked him... but... this morning he gave me these..." I took them out and gave them to Dorumon. He growled slightly. "And finally number 3. ... If you fail to bring happiness to my kid, then I don't want you to ever, and I do mean... EVER come back to his life! DO. YOU. UNDER. STAND?" I nodded, hell this guy could creep people out! 

And with that, he turned into his cheery him again. "Then I'm fine with you two hustling it out!" He threw my specialty items back at me and smirked. "Keep that thing away till your older, 'aight Shoutmon?" I nodded, blushing. As soon as he said that, he made his way out the house.

I'm still at Gummy's house... It's basically where I live now... and Gumdramon doesn't mind, he seems happy that I'm around. "Hey pookie! C'mere!" Said the dragon to me. I made my way towards him and suddenly I felt my eyes get all covered in cloth. "Keep walking, or you won't get to see~" I blushed at the way he said that last word. "A-alright, just make sure I don't hit anything ok?"
"Ok! But just keep walking here... aaaaaand... STOP!" He took the blindfold off and smiled at me. "Tada~! I made you this bad boy~!" It was a phone case... but I don't have a phone... at least not one that needs a case... "And with the allowances, I bought you... this..." I turned around and saw a Model XL Preciprical! The latest phone that's available! "G-Gummy... You didn't have to get this for me...!!!" He kissed me and smiled rebelliously. "I know, but I wanted to... it's your special gift..." He whispered in my ear and held my hand.
