Shoutmon POV

We just finished playing euchre with me being the winner. I kept seeing the things that Gumdramon had. I saw that he had medals, trophies and certificates. I sat down again on his bed. "Damn..." I said. He looked at me "What's wrong?"
"I'm just amazed..." He started blushing. "Its nothing... really..." He said. I looked at him as if I was saying your not fooling anyone. He sighed "Ok. It is something... But I just don't like talking about it..." I got my bag and took out my homework. "Want me to do yours?" I asked. "No!!!" He grabbed my shoulders and started moving me back and forward "ARE YOU CRAZY!? DO YOU WANT TO GET US IN TROUBLE!?" I tried to speak while getting my body moved rapidly. "N-n-n-n-o-o-o I d-don-nt" He let go of me. "I was just asking if you wanted me to do your homework and instead you gave me a headache"
"Well ya shouldn't ya dumb rum bubblegum... And sorry for giving you a headache..." He left the room and said "I'll be right back" I lied down and took a nap.

--later--

I woke up and found a blanket on top of me and a cold bag on my forehead. I took off the bag and looked around. I was still in Gumdramon's room... There was also some Mac and cheese on a drawer next to a desk he had with soda as a refreshment. I got out of Gumdramon's bed and fixed it up. I left the room and heard Gumdramon talking to someone. I walked to where he was slowly so that the digimon wouldn't hear me. "Thank you for dropping in" I heard Gumdramon say. "No problem Gumdrop! Just ask for anything and I'll be there!" I heard someone say. "Do you want anything uncle?" He asked the digimon. "No. I'm fine. Have you made any new friends at this school?" The digimon said. "Yeah... To bad huh... Someone almost tried to make me kiss him... But there's this one... Digimon... He keeps standing up for me... I don't know why... His name is Shoutmon..."
"Shoutmon... Does he shout a lot?" The digimon asked. "No... He's just..." I leaned over a little to hear what he was gonna say. "He's just a nice Digimon that always helps his friends." I chuckled a little. You got that right. I slowly went back to his room but tripped and made noise. "Oww..." I said. I heard someone running towards me. "Hey! What are doing in my Nephew's house!" The digimon picked me up and stared at me. Gumdramon tugged on the digimon's shirt. "Uncle! Its ok! I let him stay for tonight! Please don't hurt him!" The digimon put me down. "You sure Gumdramon? He looks... like the person who forced you to kiss him." Gumdramon stood next to me. "No. He's Shoutmon! He's the one who has protected me all this time!" I slowly waved my hand at his uncle. "H-hello... I'm Shoutmon..." He smiled at me. "Sorry about what I did... I'm Dorumon, Gumdramon's uncle. Nice to meet you" He gave me his hand. I grabbed it and shook it. "Same here!" I smiled back. "Thanks... For taking care of Gumdramon for me..." He said. "Its not a problem! He's my friend! And I always stick up for my friends, no matter what!" Gumdramon smiled at me. "You hungry Shoutmon?" He asked. "No... I'm fine... Are you hungry?" He looked down and said "Yes... But not that much..." I smirked and asked "Where are your things for cooking?" Dorumon and Gumdramon looked at me. "Well? I'm making you guys food!" They looked at each other and gulped, then they showed me the things needed to cook.

--after cooking--

I put everything on the table and fixed it up. "Aaaand done!" They were astonished. "What did you make? It smells... Delicious..." Dorumon asked. "I made lasagna, hamburgers, chicken, mashed potatoes, fruit punch, lemonade and Milkshake!" I said smiling. "Who taught you how to cook?" Gumdramon asked me. "I actually taught myself how to cook... But all that time paid off!" They sat down and started eating. "Mmm this is so delicious... You need to show me how to cook like this Shoutmon!" Gumdramon said. I smiled. "Ok! But its kinda hard to cook most of the things I just did.... Especially if its your first time" He gulped. "I-I know!" I kept eating. "Hey Shoutmon with this skill in cooking, you can open a restaurant!" I blushed... He's the first one to say that... Jijimon never says that to me... "I'll think about it... After all I'm still a 5th grader!" Dorumon almost choked on a piece of chicken when I said that. "Your a 5th grader!?"
"Yes... Didn't Gumdramon tell you?"
"No... He just told me that you always stand up for him and that your a nice friend..." Gumdramon was almost finished eating his food. "Well I don't really mind... I'm kinda used to it..." I said. Gumdramon looked at me with questioning eyes "What do you mean by that?" He put his fork down. "Nothing!" I said. Why did I just react like that!? Its just a question!!! Gumdramon kept quiet after that...

--later--

"Its getting kinda late... I should be heading back..." Said Dorumon grabbing his car keys. "Bye uncle" said Gumdramon. I waved at him and said "I hope to see you again!" He waved back and said "Same here! See ya Gumdrop!" He closed the door and left. "Gumdrop... That's a nice nickname for you!" I said. He blushed and punched me playfully "Shut up... Only my uncle can call me that" he walked to his room and I cleaned the dishes. "Jeez I was only playing..." I kept cleaning when Gumdramon came out of his room wearing new clothes... He looks... Weird... "S-s-stop looking at me like that!" I turned around and kept washing the dishes. "Anyways... Are you gonna go get changed?" Gumdramon asked. "Yeah... I'll go get my clothes and come back... After I finish cleaning dishes..."
"Ok... Tell me if you need anything" He went back to his room. I finished up and went to tell Gumdramon. "I'm gonna go get my clothes ok?" He put his book down and told me "Ok... Just... Be careful..." Why was he acting like that? A second ago he punched me... Then caring about me... "Ok I'll be right back" I left his house and went to mine. "SHOUTMON! WHERE WERE YOU!?" Jijimon shouted. "Somewhere... I only came to grab some things..." Jijimon kept shouting at me but I ignored him. "See ya tomorrow Jijimon" I said leaving the house with a suit case. "Jeez..." I kept walking and entered Gumdramon's house. "Gumdramon? I'm back" I said. The house was quiet. I started walking towards Gumdramon's room and opened it to reveal... Gumdramon hearing and lip singing music while drawing. "Ooh eeh ooh ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang, ooh eeh ooh ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang"

He's singing that song... "Ooh eeh ooh ah ah ting tang walla walla bing bang ooh eeh ooh ah ah ting tang walla walla bing baaaang" he sang. I should go... I dont wanna get that song in my head again... "I told the witch doctor I" I left the room and Gumdramon stopped singing. "H-h-hello? Who's there?" I heard him get off his bed and headed towards the door. Hehehe I got an idea... I hid in the bathroom and waited for him to get close. He opened the door and started checking the house. "Shoutmon? Is that you?" He asked. I tried not to giggle. "Maybe its just my imagination...." He headed back to his room. "Darn" I said. I walked to the house door, opened it and closed it so that he could hear. I walked to Gumdramon's room again and opened it. "Gumdramon I'm back" I said. "Hey Shoutmon" He said smiling at me. "what tool you so long?"
"I couldn't find something... But I have it now!" I showed Gumdramon my suitcase. "Uhh why do you have a suitcase with you? You look like... A..." He started laughing at me and my suitcase. "I'm sorry... I just couldn't hold it in" He said getting a tear out of his eye. "You look like a business man!" He said almost laughing again. I tried not to laugh at the thought of me being one, but also mad. "What!? I can be one if I want!" I dropped the suitcase and made the pose the recruits do in attack on titan "And therefore I shall train as hard as I can to become one!" There was an awkwardly silent moment... "Well then... Are you at least gonna get changed from your clothes? After all... A business man such as yourself..." He stood in front of me... smiling... "can also have breaks..." I tried to keep my distance. "O-ok then... Sooo I'm gonna go get changed in the bathroom... I'll be right back..." I grabbed the door handle and my suitcase. "Ok" he said. I went to the bathroom and leaned on the sink staring at myself. "Why is your heart thumping like that!!!" I whispered. I opened my suitcase and changed my clothes... (Yyyyeaahhhh.... I'm gonna cut this part out... Not because it has inappropriate things... But because that's gonna be T.M.I. ...) I got changed into my pajamas and headed right back to Gumdramon's room. "Hey..." I said knocking on his door. "I'm done getting changed..."
"Ok, you can come in... Just act as if this was your house ok?"
"Ok..." I opened the door. He saw me and my pajamas while I saw him with his mouth open. "What..." I said blushing furiously.... "Never seen someone wear pajamas before?" He tried to close his mouth. "I-i-i have but but but...." He couldn't finish his sentence. I sat down right next to him and pat his head. "Its alright Gumlock" I said. He looked down and I felt an aura coming from him... "What? Did you call me?" He asked holding his rage in. "Nothing!!! I didn't call-" He put his finger in front of my lips. "Dont... Call me... Anything else besides my normal name ok?" He said. I tried to speak but couldn't... "Now I think its time that we went to sleep... Its 9:36 p.m. and we were susposed to be sleeping at 9:00 exactly..." He put everything away and slowly started to drift off... "Oh... Hey... Before I go to sleep... there are spiders and centipedes here... On the ground... So just until the infestation is over... You will.... Sleep on my bed... Unless you wanna sleep on the couch in the living room..."He started blushing... I did too.... I didn't say anything at all. I lied down next to him and felt his...warm... smooth and small body touching mine... "... Good night... Gumdramon..." I slowly fell asleep when I remembered... "my homework..." I got up and finished my homework... Should I do his? I looked at Gumdramon and whispered to myself "I should..." I finished our homework and lied down. Gumdramon turned around and hugged me... "...Its...so...fluffy..." He said in his sleep. I smiled and went to sleep myself.
