A world language is a HYPERLINK "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_language" \o "Natural language" language spoken internationally, which is learned by many people as a HYPERLINK "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Second_language" \o "Second language" second language. A world language is not only characterized by the number of its speakers (native or second language speakers), but also by its geographical distribution, and its use in HYPERLINK "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_organizations" \o "International organizations" international organizations and in HYPERLINK "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplomatic_relations" \o "Diplomatic relations" diplomatic relations

- Communication is much easier when everyone speaks the same language.

- it will be easy to learn: everybody at school will learn it and speak it correctly.

- For travel purposes. Tourist will be able to travel to any part of the world without having language difficulties.

- People could save money they spend in translation of documents like for example College or University transcripts

- With a global language, an international conference or meeting wouldn't need interpreters.

2, Disadvantages.

- Replacing all languages to a global languages is like taking a piece of their culture, traditions and history.

- Replacing all languages to a universal languages is like taking a piece of their culture, traditions and history.

- Perhaps the presence of a global language will make people lazy about learning other languages, or reduce their opportunities to do so.

- Perhaps a global language will hasten the disappearance of minority languages, or -the ultimate threat- make all other languages unnecessary.

- Perhaps make many countries using global language more than their mother-tongue, create a bad influence to their culture.
