Adeline POV (When she wakes up)

I feel the pain in my head when I wake up and it takes me a few seconds to adjust.

"You're awake." I know that voice. I turn my head focusing my vision on the person who spoke.. Shoto.

"Uh yeah." I say as he places his hand on my cheek.

"I'm glad you're ok." He says and I give him a small smile placing my hand over his.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but could you tell us what happened? I've already spoken with All Might and he's given us some insight for you not to talk much but we still need to know how you defeated that monster." I look at the person to find a man, he must be a detective.

"Oh yeah, I just created a plasma with the wind him and All Might where creating and shot it at him as a divergent to get closer to it. As soon as I touched him I changed the direction of the electric currents around the body to paralyze him and mess with his brain deleting the order to kill All Might. Though in return it caused me a massive headache since I've never had the chance to try it before." I say as Shoto caressed my cheek.

"Alright that's all I need to know, excuse me." He says and I nod before looking at Shoto and kissing him softly.

"I'm sorry if I worried you." I whisper but he surprised me by kissing me again deeply.

"Yeah you better be. Don't you dare do something that reckless ever again." He says as he pulls away placing his forehead against mine.

"Sorry.. I'll try not to do it again." I say placing my hand on his scared side caressing the skin before kissing him again for a few seconds before pulling away slowly.

"Shoto.." I mumble as he hms in answer.

"You can go home now, you don't need to worry. I need to talk to All Might about a few things and.." I look down, I don't know if I'll do it or not.. I mean he's my father and he's badly hurt.. and it's not like he abandoned me if he never knew about me right?

"Alright.. call or text me when you get home." He says understanding kissing my forehead lovingly before walking away. This is why I love him.. I don't even need to speak with him for him to know what I mean and he's so understanding.

I slowly get up and leave the room walking to the nurses office where I knew All Might was. I open the door to walk inside.

"You're ok." I hear All Might say and give him a small smile.

"Wait All Might is it ok for her to see you like this?!" Midoriya asks freaking out causing me to chuckle before holding my head in pain. Damn it, I have to take it easy.

"I've known him since I was a little girl, in fact One for All was going to be mine when I graduated the academy." I say with a slight smirk surprising Midoriya.

"Really?" He asked and I nodded.

"But he gave it to you, so you better get a hold of it." I warn him meaning it, I'll kick his ass if he doesn't, but I somehow know he someday will.

"Are you ok?" I hear All Might ask causing me to look at him.

"Yeah, I'll have a headache for the rest of the day but once I get some sleep it should be gone." I say giving him a small reassuring smile making him grip the blanket looking down. What's up with him all of a sudden?

"Hey Adeline.." He says making me tilt my head slightly.

"Yeah?" I say and he looks up at me.

"Thank you.. thank you for everything you did today. If it weren't for you I would've taken it too far and hurt myself more." He says causing me to smile. I know.. but because he has been almost like a father to me I couldn't allow it. I couldn't bare the thought of losing him.

"That's what heroes are for right? Anyway, I came to tell you everyone's fine no major injuries other than Midoriya and.." I stop making fists with my hand. Why can't I say it? Why can't I admit it and accept it?

"Your dad." All Might finished for me causing me to looks down.

"Yeah.." I say trembling a bit. He risked his life today to save us, he marched into battle without even thinking.. yet here I am too scared to even admit he's my..

"You should go pay him a visit." I hear All Might say interrupting my thoughts. Should I go see him? He's the person who's blood runs through my vanes, the person to gave me an amazing quirk that makes me almost invencible.. I sigh and look at All Might.

"I will." I say before walking away and out of the room. I will.. I'll go pay him a visit.. maybe I was cold towards him without giving him a real chance. I mean I told him I didn't come to this school looking for him and that I had no interest in him, that he was just my teacher and nothing else. Maybe he wouldn't be such a bad father.

My legs suddenly stop in front of a room.. is this it? Now that I think about it.. I never got his room number. I slowly opened the door and peak in just to see 13 sitting on a chair and.. my father all bandaged up in a bed.. that has to be him right?

"Oh it's you.." I jump slightly and look at 13.

"Uh yeah." I say before fully walking in.

"Did you came to see him?" 13 asked and I nodded.

"I was a bit worried for him." I answered walking closer to his bed. Even when I told him to be careful.. this is how bad he was hurt and all for our protection.

"He's going to be ok, they said they still didn't know if his sight would be completely recovered but he'll survive at least." 13 says as I nodded looking at him.
