The Eyes that Watch Us
There are eyes, eyes everywhere.
On every face, on every wall,
There are eyes lined all down the hall.
Take a glance, take a look
You'll find some inside a book.
On your back, in a crack,
Some seem quite out of wack.
On your back, on your hands
Eyes stretch across all the lands.
Close your eyes and you won't see,
All the eyes are watching me
Round the bend, on the edge
The eyes are watching from every ledge
Keep yours wide, do not hide
For the eyes will always find
See you here, see you there.
They saw what you did to the man in the chair.
With iron in the air, they all stare.
You never quite cleaned the blood from your hair.
Close your blinds, close them tight.
Maybe you'll get some sleep tonight.
