Snow started to fall on the ancient city as Atem stood out to watch the sun rise. He held out his hand to feel the cold frozen rain, his cat ear twiched as a snow flake landed on it. "It is not quite like Christmas without snow." A gentle voice came out from behind him. The neko turned around to see a gentler and hybrid verson of himself. "What do you mean, Yugi?" Yugi just smiled at Atem, showing his fangs, not in a threating way of course.

Yugi a neko and vampire hybrid, a splitting image of Atem and Yami a vampire.

"It is a holiday. Almost as old as you." Yugi kept his smile dear and deep.

"I am not familiar with it." Atem's ears were up and out in a lazy way.

"Well when you are 3,000 years old and kind of live in your own world, it should be expected."

Atem puffed out his lips and crossed his arms. He took some offense to that remark. No matter how innocent Yugi looked.

The hybrid motioned for the neko to follow, and that he did.

"Moke, you here?" Yugi asked as he entered the library of the palace. A muffled sound came out in reply. "Need you to find things on Christmas."

"Christmas! I love that holiday!" A more understandable reply was heard. A little boy came running out to greet the two, bowing in respect Moke took the king in his care.

Yugi was running around after leaving Atem to the care of the younger. He was on a mission. He found people, people close the ancient pharaoh's heart. He told them of his plan and how they must act quickly before the king gets bored.

The young hybrid was still running around he was looking for one particular person.

"What is wrong little one? Your emotions are all over the place so much I can tell from here,"

The mind link, Yugi slapped his face, how could he have forgotten about that?

"Yami, where are you?" He asked breathlessly even in the link.

"Japan, why?"

Damn it no wonder.

"Do you know what holiday it is?"

Silence

"....Crap what weird Egyptian holiday did I forget this time."

Again Yugi slapped his face in frustration at the vampire.

"Ouch, do not hit yourself that bad to were I can hear it.....It is Christmas, isn't?"

"Finally!" The joy in his voice was bleeding out, making Yami chuckle to himself. "Mark me a circle."

A vampire can teleport anywhere they want to, but with a circle it is easier and more accurate of where to land.

Sensing that Yugi had finished Yami went.

"You know it would have been helpful to tell me where you were going." Yami was greeted as he stepped foot on sand. His gaze went around ignoring the voice for just a second to see the scenery had changed, there was snow.

Yugi spared no time, he grabbed the other's hand and dragged him along. Yami did not fight his head looked around in wonder seeing what all had been put up in the few moments since Yugi started all this.

"Let me get this straight, it is a birthday party?" Atem tried to sum it up. His brow raised in confusion. "Yup." Atem nodded and continued to listen to Moke as he explained the true origin and meaning of Christmas.

Yugi just managed to place Yami's butt on the seat when the doors opened.

"Merry Christmas!" Atem beamed and everyone cheered. "Nothing big, nothing fancy?" He asked as he sat down next to Yugi recalling the things the hybrid has done in the past.

"Christmas can be celebrated with just a candle and it will mean all the same." He smiled.

"Very true. I wished I had known of it sooner, it is a great holiday with an even better meaning." Atem hugged Yugi thanking him for what he did.

"This is a celebration," Yami started. "It is a time where we are all equal, as it was many years ago when the shepherds got to see something great. This is not a time of what we get. It is a time of counting our blessings."

The three gleamed happily. They had never truly did something like this and it felt good.

"Merry Christmas!!!!" They all cried out to the sky.
