I Just finished the miniseries North and South and suddenly i recived the idea of America being friends with them and here is the result.

Later that day he recived a letter from Lincon asking him If he wanted to join the Fight he accepted the  invetation and joints the union on his first day he met general George Hazard from Pennsylvania they became friends. They told each other about their friends and family, when Alfred asked him about his closest friend, George Just went for Some minutes silent saying that his friend was on the other side, and he didnt know If he was Still alive. 3 monts later Alfred decided to switch sides. When he arrived there Some soldiers Where bashing him until a man with the name Orry Main tells them to stop. After Some talking Orry sighens and tells him that he saw Virgillia (Who was working as a nurse) not so long ago. When Alfred asked him why he sighed about iT Orry answered "she is the sister of My best friend I havend seen him since the start of the war, I don't know If he is fine." Alfred then asked his name and when Orry answered the name "Hazard, George Hazard." He emidiatly tells him that he is Still alive.

And since then every 3 months Alfred switched sides. and kinda played Mailman between them.

He stayed Good friends with Both of them after the war. Years later He saw the last one of the family die, Brett Orry's sister. She told him that he was a Good friend of them and asked If he wanted the house on Mont Royal. He accepted the gift, she died later. Thats how Alfred made friends durning the civil war with 2 best friends each on the other side. He doesnt regret it.
