I stood with my back to the Black SUV, I keep looking at my watch, cold fear washed over me as the time passed, suddenly a man ran up to the car out of breath.

"What took you so long!" I yelled.

"Shh man, I did it."

"Did anybody see you?"

"I think so, there was this lady with short blond hair, wearing a dress-"

"That's red?" I asked fearfully.

"Yeah."

"Are you certain, that's who you saw?"

"Fairly!"

"I need you to be certain."

"Do you not believe me."

"I do. It's just that's my wife your accusing."

"Your married?"

I rubbed my chin, "if she saw you kill your girlfriend, then we will have to kill her too."

"Good idea."

"But she might not talk."

"Dude just shoot her."

I took a deep breath and ran home as fast as could. "Mary!" I yelled as I pushed open the door.

My wife ran into my arms crying, "I s-s-saw somebody get shot."

"Calm down, are you sure?" I asked her.

"Yes!"

"Did you call the police?"

"Not yet, I-I-I wanted to be home first."

I took a deep breath and headed to the kitchen, I grabbed the butcher knife, tears slowly ran my face. "I'm so sorry."

"What are you doing?" She asked fearfully.

I took a step towards her holding the knife up.

"Stop please you don-"

I stabbed her with the knife, once I started I couldn't stop, then I took the knife and slit my throat, my friends secret was safe...
