"Really quick, who's idea was this?" Tiberius asked once the door was shut. Scuffing her paw across the pavement, Gidget admitted, "Chloe suggested that I get you something to eat. But I came up with the idea of where to go." Lowering her gaze, she mumbled sadly, "I used to come here with Max." Her head filled up with recent bad memories. His eyes softening, Tiberius gently nuzzled her cheek. Blushing, she shook herself and declared, "Let's eat."

For the most part, the two ate in silence, leaving an awkward atmosphere around them. Taking a bite of the spaghetti, Gidget didn't take notice that the other half of one of the strands was being eaten by Tiberius. Neither of them realized it until they turned to look at each other. Her nose pressed against his beak, Gidget blushed a bright red as she met her friend's eyes. His tail fanning out like it usually did now these days, Tiberius returned the gaze. However, it lasted only for a few seconds when Gidget looked away. Smiling at her nervously, the old hawk offered her one of the last meatballs.

Soon, the two were all done with their dinner. While Dominic came out to collect the box and plate, Gidget noticed some sauce on Tiberius's beak. Without a second thought, she licked it away. Blushing under his feathers, the hawk asked quietly, "Do you want to go to Central Park for a little? We still have about an hour left." Nodding her head, Gidget whispered, "Lead the way."
