It's been two weeks since Ink was beaten rather severely by Nightmares gang.

His wounds were almost fully healed, and he could once again use his magic freely.

Yet he didn't spring out into the Multiverse to create like he normally would.

Something had caught his attention during his days of bed rest.

Error had stopped destroying.

Error never stopped unless they had a nasty fight and the destroyer disappeared for a while to lick his wounds.

But this time was different.

Ink was almost never bed ridden for more than one or two days. So he almost never stopped creating or fighting Error.

For the first three days Ink was out, Error destroyed Au after Au. This worried the Creator. Dream reported he tried to stop him but the destroyer was to quick.

Then the fourth day came, and suddenly Error had disappeared. Stopped destroying.

At first Ink though he was planning something, but as days past he couldn't help but think it was something else.

Maybe he was injured? Or sick? Or...?

Maybe he only destroyed when Ink created...

The sudden thought made Ink laugh at first. There was no way that was the case! Error wanted to destroy the entire Multiverse... right?

Looking back, Error only ever destroyed as much as Ink created. If Ink had a creation spree Error would destroy more and more. If Ink didn't create as much, Error would start destroying less.

Not only that. Error rarely destroyed original Aus. When he did, hundreds would collapse at once.

Now that Ink thought about it.

If Error truly wanted to destroy the multiverse, he could have done it by now.

He could of destroy Undertale in a snap.

Why?

Why wouldn't he?

Why was the question that kept Ink in bed for a few more days after he was fully healed.

But no matter how long he laid there the question remained unanswered.

He needed to run a few tests.

For all he knew Error could be trapped somewhere, unable to destroy anything and that's why. Or he injured or something like that.

He got up and grabbed his phone to call over Dream, a great plan in his mind.

Dream arrived quickly through a portal. "Ink! What's the matter? Your text said it was important!"

Ink nodded. "It is. I'm going to run a little experiment."

"An experiment?" Dream raised a brow.

"Yes, to find out something about the Destroyer."

Dreams eyes widened.

Ink placed a hand on Dreams shoulder. "Look, im going to create a dozen AUs this week. Nothing living besides plants. And I want Error to destroy them."

"You want him to destroy?!" Dream gasped

"Yes, as I said nothing's going to be in them besides landscapes. So if I make an Au like that do not stop him from destroying it. Unless I say otherwise. Trust me. This is important."

Dream paused before nodded. "Ok. I trust you."

Ink smiled and nodded. "Good. Now please tell the council so they don't worry or interfere."

Dream waved him a due and skipped out through a portal leaving Ink to get started on his experiment.
