Apologize
*This is a tad sad*
It was all his fault. The dancing demon had done it. He had killed his creator. But. . . why did he feel so torn up about it? The blood-soaked corpse lay at Bendy's feet as the poor demon's hands trembled and tears welled from his eyes. The ax dropped blade-first into the wooden floor and landed with a loud thud. The blade would be stuck there.
But the thing was, Bendy didn't care. He felt as if his heart had been ripped to shreds by unseen hands. As if the life he ended. . . didn't need to end. Insanity had taken control and without knowing, he had killed Henry.
His creator. . .
His closest friend. . .
Basically his father. . .
But now he was gone. Bendy fell to his knees, his arms limp at his sides.
"Henry. . . C'mon, wake up," the inky creature nudged the man's arm, hoping that would help him wake up. But he wouldn't. And Bendy knew this. Yet he wouldn't accept this.
Never.
"Henry, come on! Please! Don't go!" Bendy was pleading by now, violently shaking the dead body, the tears flowing faster now. "Please Henry! I need you still! Please!" The animator stared up at Henry with dead eyes, the once colorful orbs now dull and veiled. Bendy was sobbing by this point, the tiny, salty pools dripping onto the floor.
He had lost so much. His closest friend. His friends in general. And now he had been so clouded by lies that he had killed his own creator with his own two, four-fingered hands. Bendy shouldn't have listened to Joey. He should've given Henry a chance. Let him back into his life. But he didn't. He forced him out, hunted him. Now, he had killed him.
All over a stupid lie. One stupid, horrible lie that drove him to insanity. But as soon as the blood touched his circular face, he realized the mistake he had committed. The horrible truth was too much for him to bear. Sure, he only had himself to blame for this. But, it didn't have to end this way. Henry didn't have to die. He should've had a chance to keep on living. To move on. The tiny demon hugged the body close to him and continued to quietly sob, tears mixing with the blood staining Henry's dirty dress shirt.
"Henry. . ."
"I'm so sorry. . ."
