Hi guys!

This is basically all my oneshots and whatnot. I have some competition entries here as well. I will let you guys know how I did in the competition entries. Please let me know what you think in the comments and please feel free to make requests for short stories.

My first entry is for a fantasy story contest. Please let me know what you think about it! I will let you know how I do!

The dark night lit up with flames of red and orange as the crowd approached closer to my house. Pitchforks were dancing with the glistening flames. Loud shouts and screams of protest flocked towards the front door.

I was upstairs in my bedroom with the door locked shut and barricaded with large cupboards and other furniture. There was a loud bang at the door and then the sound of stampeding feet running towards the wooden staircase. I had no where left to go.

I lurched my body towards the large window, opening it as fast as I could. I looked down at the angry mob below me. It wasn't my fault that they couldn't see my friends. When society doesn't understand something they decide to bring out their pitchforks and burning torches.

I turned around to the sound of the door banging. The large furniture edged forward with every bang on the door. I looked at my friends.

Phoebe had her pink, curly, candy-like hair which always stuck up above her head as it twirled around. Her rosey skin was decorated with a bright, pink dress and gold jewellery on her arms and neck.

Felix had pale orange skin and hair as red as the flames of a wildfire. He was dressed in a dark-orange shirt and dark-blue shorts.

Serena had skin as blue as the skies. Her hair was short and almost a transparent blue. It waved around like the waves of the ocean.

"I don't know what to do! They are going to kill me! They think I am insane!" I yelled at my friends, terrified for my life.

Phoebe's small body floats above me, her pink hair twirls above her head like dancing ballerinas. She pinches her small fingers together and begins to rub them. Light-pink glitter begins to fall from her fingers, touching me gently before it disappears.

My feet slowly begin to lift off the wooden floor in my bedroom. I look down in disbelief to see the floor so far away from my feet. Suddenly everything in my room looks a lot bigger than it usually does.

Before I could fully function to what was going on, the furniture blocking my door, rolled forward, creating a large enough gap for someone to squeeze through. A muscular arm, covered in black hair, stuck through the small gap. As the arm wriggles to get through, a raging face appeared through the gap

I floated backwards in an attempt to get away from the wriggling arm. Phoebe pointed towards the thin, black book lying on top of my bed. I floated towards it as fast as I could and grabbed it, struggling to pick it up.

The book was suddenly a lot bigger than me and that was when I realised that I had been transformed into a faerie. I stumbled off my bed - with the book still in my arms - in shock. I landed on my back with the book on top of me.

I began floating again, holding onto the book for my life. I looked up to see my friends huddled at the window. Serena waved at me to hurry up.

Felix floated towards me, his flaming red hair whooshed around like the dancing flames outside. He touched the book with his orange-coloured fingers, which matched the rest of his body. The book suddenly shrunk to a smaller size, making it easy for me to carry. He suddenly grabbed my arm and pulled me away as the angry mob began squeezing into my room. I was pulled out the window and into the darkness of the night.

We zoomed across the rooftops of the houses, which had smoke ascending out the chimneys. We were moving so fast that the whole world seemed to be a blur of colours. The world seemed to go back to normal as our speed slowed down. We were no longer in my small hometown anymore. We were drifting over a luscious, green forest - far away from any people.

This was real. I was not crazy. I knew from that moment on, my life would never be the same again.
