Chapter 5:The Next Day...

"Be your protector..." "Be your protector..." "Be your protector..."

That's all Sephrina could think about. Tom Riddle,her own godfather,the Dark Lord,the evilest of them all...said "Be your protector..." in front of her? This can't be!

She kept tossing and turning into her sleep until a voice said,"Lumos." And she woke up. "PROTEGO!" She used her hands to make a shield as her godfather was coming in to check on her. She looked at her godfather and said,"Sorry..." She got rid of the shield and Riddle sit down beside her on the bed. "I thought you were an enemy for a moment." She said,sitting up with him. His wand lit up like a torch;he was the one that said Lumos in her sleep.

"It's all right. If I was you,I would be worried too. Did you even sleep at all?" She shakes her head and his face turns into a sad one,as she looks down to the bed...not looking at him. "I tried." She said,still looking down. He put a hand under her chin and forced her to look up at him.

"Nox." The room turned into darkness,complete darkness. It was so dark that she couldn't see what was in front of her. She screeched quietly and he said,"Shh...it's okay..." She looks at the darkness and said,"Where are you?" "I'm right in front of you,darling." "But where?" He puts a hand on her hand and said,"Right  here." She sighed and said,"I'm really scared....so scared." "Well,I'm here. Right in front of your face."

He puts his lips on her cheek and says,"I'm here...sweetie." Then,he kisses her cheek and says,"I'm always here...I will always be here." Her breathing gets harder but she doesn't love him romantically...at least she hopes. His face shows a little which makes her breathing go down but when he puts his lips on hers,she pulls away and says,"What was that?! Now,I'm really afraid. I don't know!!" He puts his hands on her cheeks and says,"I love you." Her eyes open wide and she says,"Lumos Maxima!" His wand lights up and she looks deeply into his eyes and says,"What the-oh my god!" She hurries away from the bed and says,"What were you doing?!" He looks at her with a apologetic smile and she doesn't buy it. He wants her...she knows it. "GET AWAY FROM ME!! I DONT LIKE YOU ANYMORE!! GO AWAY!!" She runs out of the room and down the stairs,getting towards the front door.

He brings his wand and follows her,running too. As she opens the door,she sees her parents and she screams. She runs back in and sees Riddle who says,"I'm sorry! Forgive me!" She screams even louder and runs towards the back door. Draco comes in and grabs her,pinning her down to the ground. "GET THE HELL OFF OF ME!!!! MALFOY!!!" He grins and says,"You're mine." She gets out of his grip and says,"Crucio!" Draco falls on the floor while Riddle comes from behind and holds onto her hand.

"OBILIVATE!!!!" Her powers get weaker and weaker by the minute. "What? Work! Work! WORK!!! You're useless hands!! My parents were right...I'm useless..."

She grabs Riddles wand and points it at her body. "SEPHRINA!" He yells,trying to grab the wand back from her. "I have to do this....have to...." "No,you don't! Dont do it!!!" "MY LIFE IS DEAD!!" She screams,making him stop.

She takes one last look and says,"Goodbye,Voldemort." His face gets worried,scared,and is now full of fear. "I...I...I love you,Sephrina." "YOU LAIR!" She points the wand at him and says,"CURSE YOU!!" She uses the magic and it makes him shatter into pieces,making him dead. "Now...me..."

"AVADA KADAVRA!" The wand lights up with a green stroke and she falls down to the floor,but before she even does,she wakes up and notices it's all a dream.

"SEPHRINA!!" Riddle yells out,doing every magic power he knew to make her come back to life or something. "GET AWAY FROM ME,YOU STUPID...STUPID...IMMORTAL...." She puts her head in her hands and cries her souls out saying,"Why? Why did they have to do this?!" "Who?" "MY PARENTS!!!!!" She grabs a pillow and smacked Tom with it,making him say,"What did I do?" "You kissed me!" "No,I didn't." "You kissed me,you jerk! I hate you!! I HATE ALL OF YOU!! WHY WONT YOU....LEAVE ME...ALONE..." She falls back down and he says,"Sephrina? Sephrina? Are you-SEPHRINA!!" He grabs his wand and says,"Brackium Emendo!" It doesn't do anything...which makes him speechless. "I...I...I don't know what to do." "I know! Let's kill her!" Draco says,coming into the room.

"Shut the fuck up,Malfoy." "Okay." He walks away from the room. Tom tries to wake her up by saying,"Sephrina,wake up,please...plea-" "Ah. I see you made our child dead. Finally." Brad says,taking Sephrina into his arms. "I didn't-" "You'll be greatly rewarded." He disappears along with her and Riddle yells out,"FUCK YOU!!" He throws his wand out the door and into his room,where it perfectly lands on his desk. "Goddammit!"

He puts his hand out and says in parseltongue,"Resurrect....Sephrina....
leave her alone. Bring her back....ACCIO WAND!" His wand comes back into his hands and he yells out,"Accio Sephrina!" She comes back into the room and notices that she's back here.

Riddle sees multiple things different about her. She's still a child,but her features are way different. They're full of scars,bruises and blood...silver blood. Her father probably did this...to punish her more than she did to herself. Her clothes are torn and it shows more of her body,which in turn,shows some of her robotic bones and this makes Riddle even more scared about her father. In his mind,he's thinking about all the other things her father could do...and it's painful.

She looks at him,and has no idea why he's like this. "Godfather?" She says,making Tom look up at her. His black eyes look deeply into her hazel eyes and it makes him smile. He's smiling because he's feeling sympathy for her and doesn't know why. "Yes,Sephrina?" He says,still smiling. "Why am I back here?" "I made you come here....as you can see with my wand."

He puts his wand to his face so she could see and she says,"Oh...but I'm suppose to be home." "No,you're not." "He said he'll be back tomorrow and that's today." "Dear,it's only 4:00 in the morning." "He changes his mind,godfather." "As I saw before,yes. But-" She puts up a hand and says,"Muffliato." Then,with a swipe of her hand,she makes the door shut and lock itself.

"Sephrina..." "Riddle,my parents are the most powerful people in the species of Ancient people. I'm not letting you or myself try to stop them. If I was them,they would have heard me now and captured me and beaten me again." "But I-" "No,stop. You can't beat them. They stay awake...they stay alert....they'll kill you." "I don't-" "Riddle-" "I DONT CARE IF THEY KILL ME!! I WOULD DIE SAVING YOU FROM THEM!! IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME..." He stops and looks out to the wall. "Then,I won't blame you. I didn't know I was...I didn't know I was anyone's godfather...until yesterday. I don't know what to do..."

She goes next to him and puts a hand on his shoulder,trying to calm him down. "It's okay. I understand." "Really?" He says,looking at her. "I do...I didn't know I was going to be anyone's sister until I saw Nero...and...never mind. I don't want to talk about it." She takes away her hand from his shoulder and whispers,"I'm sorry."

As she goes to the door,she hears Riddle whisper,"Sephrina....you're the only relative I love....and I saw you. In my eyes,I saw you...and only you. Now,nothing." She starts to have tears in her eyes and turns around,seeing Riddle doing the same. "I didn't know you cared about me...why would you care?" "Because I love you." He says,making tears fall from his face.

She rushes towards him and there they silently cry,while hugging each other. He stops crying and sees Sephrina holding onto him like he's about to fall or something. He laughs and says,"What are you doing?" "I'm never letting go again." She says,putting her head on his chest. He laughs again and says,"I want to go back to bed now...let go,you cutie." "No...mine." "Stop...come on,let go." "No...I want my godfather." "Fine." He crosses his arms as she still holds onto him for dear life.

"Now,can you let go of me?" He says,as he tries to go down the stairs. "No." He uses his wand to make the stairs turn into a slide and he slides down with Sephrina still on him. Sephrina goes and sits on his shoulders making him say,"Aren't you a little bit too old to sit on me?" "No,I'm not. I can change my weight. See?" "You're light as a feather!" "Yep...now stop trying to let go." "Fine. But only for a little bit." He makes the slide turn back into stairs and sits on his chair,putting Sephrina on his lap.

"Now,what do you want to eat?" "I don't know...EVERYTHING!!" She says,pulling at his collar. "You can't have everything!" "IM HUNGRY!!" "Stop!" "I WANT FOOD!!! I WANT FOOD!!" "Geez Louise. Why?" "I never ate in my whole life." "Right...but how do you survive?" "I told you,I'm the Guardian of the Universe. Guardians have to do something to survive." "What?" He says,confused at her answer. "I'm so hungry that I'm starting to digest myself." "Okay then?" "No really...feed me!" "Okay! Okay! Calm down...I'm not your actual parent here. I'm trying my best!" "Well,do it faster!" "When did you get like this?!" "Since forever!! Now,feed me." "Now,I'm regretting this." "Feed....me...now." "Why?" "Or else?" She looks at him with a death glare and he gets pissed at this. "Oh really? Killing me?" "If you don't give me my food..." "All right! Geez!" He magically conjures up some food and she eats it all up,with just one bite. "Okay...better...thank you." "You're welcome?" "Now,I play." She gets off his lap and he cleans himself off,saying,"Well,that's not all she could do."

She runs out the door and into the grass,where she rolls around in it and does regular normal child stuff. He leans against the door,watching the sun go up. As he thinks about his life as a godfather,she runs into the street and he says,"What are you doing?!" "Just playing!" "No. Come back here!" "My parents would let me do this!!" "Well,I'm not letting you get hurt!" Tom uses his wand to bring her over to him and catches her in his arms. "LET ME BACK THERE!!" "No,Sephrina. You're not getting hurt." "But-" "You're coming back inside." "Godfather!!"

He goes inside and shuts the door,locking it. Sephrina sits on the floor and looks up at him with an evil gleam in her eyes. "Sephrina..." "Meany." "I'm not a meany. I'm protecting you." "Protecting me would mean you let me free." "Well,I'm not your father...I'm your godfather. God-father." "I know that! But,I was having fun." "Not by going out into the street!"

"I'm sorry,Riddle." She gives him a puppy eyed look and says,"I love you." "Aww...come here." He says,picking her up from the floor. She hugs him and he smiles,kissing the top of her head. "I'm going to take you home." "Aww...I don't want to!" She says,crossing her arms and making a grumpy face. "I'm just joking! You're staying here." "Yay!" She says,hugging him again. "Love you,Godfather." "Love you too."

For the rest of the day,they talked,played,joked around,let Sephrina beat up Draco(hilarious,by the way),and helped out on things around the house.

As the sun goes down,Riddle puts Sephrina back in her bed and she actually has a nice long nap which makes her as happy as can be.
