He knows what is often best but he does make mistakes because he isn't perfect. In fact, he split his tongue like a snake's trying to impress his father, Shep. He saw Shep jumping at low branches of trees trying to catch squirrels, but that isn't what he thought it was. Kayden jumped up at a branch that was 4 meters above the ground and, as he grabbed the large branch in his jaws, his tongue was torn between his razor-sharp canine and the thick branch. Because his tongue is blue, the blood made it green.
