★ LOVE STORY ★
I FANCY YOU, I FANCY YOU
her pink hair looked wonderful. The strands swung back and forth as she walked from customer to customer. Her light pink eyes sparkled every time a child sat at the table and her features immediately softened. She greeted every customer with a smile. She was nice to everyone, but when no one saw her she would occasionally roll her eyes in annoyance. Lyney couldn't help but smile.
He liked to watch her. He wasn't a stalker... well, maybe he was Elaine's personal stalker, but how could anyone not look at a woman like her? She was perfect. Her hair, her eyes, her lips, her curves, her smile, her laugh, her choice of words. And Lyney wanted nothing more than for her to be his.
She danced happily between the tables, carrying five plates full of delicious pastries at the same time. Another plus point. She could bake. She could bake cakes for him, he could annoy her while doing it, she could throw him off with the frosting and... oh! Lyney could do so much with the frosting and her. It wasn't that he was only chasing Elaine because he wanted to do naughty things with her... he just wanted to, he wanted her. In all ambit.
Was he in love with her? Well, maybe. Maybe he loved her. Maybe he was falling in love at this moment. Or maybe he felt in love with her a couple weeks ago. Actually Lyney did not know if he did. He just knew that he wanted her. Her body, yes. He was curious what she would like. What sounds she would make. What her lips tasted like. But also.. he wanted her just by his side. He wanted to get her know better.
And the worst part was Lyney didn't know what was stopping them. Why couldn't they just have fun? Why couldn't they get to know each other? Why did she always try to control herself? What was her problem? Blood type or DNA? Was it really just because of her grandfather... Lyney was more than willing to keep this a secret. He wouldn't tell anyone that Elaine spent time with him outside of the cake shop!
And he had the urge to tell her that. He got up from the bench and walked towards the tinker blue door with a grin on his face. He turned the doorknob, the little bell rang above his head and immediately Elaine turned around to greet her new customer.
»A wonderful good morning, Miss Elaine!« He called out across the shop and gave her a big smile.
»I'm sorry, but we don't have any space right now.« She had a tray full of delicious chocolates in her right hand.
He didn't even want to sit down. He just wanted... oh, he just wanted to talk to her. »Not even for your favorite customer?« Lyney emphasized it and then, then he saw the red roses that he had conjured up for her. She had put them in the shop. On the counter.
Elaine grinned and shook her head slightly. »Two teas like usual?«
»Hmm, you didn't say no,« he laughed slightly. »And I see you also have MY RO-«
Elaine knew what he wanted to say loudly across the shop. She grabbed his arm with her right hand and turned them both around. So that he was now standing with his back to the counter. Because of her grandfather? Shouldn't he see that she was talking to him?
Elaine had taken their place and when he wanted to say something she raised her hand and stuffed a chocolate into his mouth. »I think there's still some strawberry left, what do you think?«
Lyney was... he was surprised. She had grabbed him so quickly, turned him over so quickly... and her delicate fingers filled his lips wonderfully. Oh, if it were up to him, she could keep spoiling him with chocolates. He couldn't help but grin.
»I like strawberries, how about if you come to the show tonight and we taste them together afterwards?« He could see Elaine's eyes sparkle. Her cheeks were even a little red. »Would you like that, Elaine?«
Lyney took a tiny step towards her and didn't care that all the customers could see. He raised his hand and stroked her pink hair. »Just you and me, alone and-«
»So two teas, right?« Elaine interrupted him. But he could see that she liked the idea. He could see the effect he had on her and he liked that. »One with and one without sugar?«
»I'd like to have two more of those chocolates.« He had to run his hand through her hair again and she didn't stop him. He slid through the soft hair, accidentally brushing against her cheek. »Are you going to feed me again or do I have to do something extra for that? I'd do anything you want, my love.«
Elaine dropped the tray with all the chocolates onto the floor. Oh my! Had he managed to make her so nervous? He liked that. Oh, he would love to be alone with her right now. But they weren't. All the customers stared at her and Elaine immediately crouched down on the floor and picked everything up. Lyney did the same.
»Forgive me, that wasn't my intention.«
She looked up at him. Her eyes sparkled. »That was your intention!« hissed Elaine.
»To make you nervous? Oh, yes! To throw your delicious chocolates on the floor? No way!« Lyney tried to reach for her hand when two large pairs of black shoes appeared right next to her hand.
»Are you alright, Elaine?« It was her grandfather. He could tell by her posture. Elaine was tense. She stood up from her crouch.
»Yes! Lyney and I... we... well.«
Lyney grinned. Yes, she could say what she wanted, she liked him! He had an effect on her. He stood up from his crouch. »Sorry, but I bumped into Miss Elaine. I just wanted to buy two teas and of course I'll pay for the chocolates.«
Her grandfather nodded grimly. »Come with me to the counter, I'll take everything.« Oh Lyney wanted to stay with Elaine, but he went with him. He waited for the tea and paid for all the chocolates. »Next time, keep your eyes open.«
Oh his eyes had been open. Maybe too open. They were too focused on his granddaughter. But Lyney couldn't really say that. It probably wouldn't matter what he said anyway, he hated him. So Lyney just nodded.
»I hope you have a wonderful day,« Lyney said goodbye and smiled. When he turned around, Elaine was standing at one of the tables, serving the people sitting there.
She was so pretty. Just the way she stood there and talked. When she talked, she always moved her hands. Yes, Lyney couldn't help but stare at her. The worst punishment for him would probably be if he went blind and could never adore her again. But now. Now he should probably go. He still had her grandfather's eyes behind him.
So he walked towards the door. He walked between the tables and yes, he kept squinting at her. He squinted at her for so long, walking so slowly until she finally turned to him. Elaine looked at him. With her beautiful eyes. And a tiny smile actually crept onto her lips.
That was enough for him. He returned the smile and then managed to leave the patisserie.
