In the spring, the Hellcats emerge from their hibernation. They are who your mother warned against, as they are like sirens- their lovely songs pull you in and never let you go. Also known as "The Fallen Bad Girls," these chicks can be your demise. We talked with several locals on their thoughts about the Hellcats.

     "I give my son an early curfew," said one mother from the east side, "I will not let those beasts lure my poor son into their grasps." Several other parents expressed similar concerns, whether they resided in the east or the west.

      However, some of the young men themselves seemed to not hold as much concern. "I can take care of myself," said a young man, aged 16. "No 'fallen bad girl' is going to be able to take advantage of me." Another youth in the south was not bothered by the rumors. "All of those legends are just a load of bull," was all he said on the matter. We asked his girlfriend what she thought, and she said, "Those hellcats can f---- off, they got nothin' on me. They can't steal my man, they're all talk and no walk."

      We got the opportunity to interview a hellcat to get her side of the story. "It's a fair game," she practically purred, "Sometimes, boys are able to tame our wild hearts, but other times, we are the heart-breakers." So watch out everyone, the hellcats are back and here to paint the town neon.
