Tae-An put everything aside in order to focus on order to even reach this stage. She didn't even finish the tenth grade. She did not involve herself in any romantic endeavors or even associate with many friends. Her eyes were set on an international stage with a microphone in one hand, the K-pop industry in the other.

Tae-An hoped that upon hours of practice, focus, and discipline would be enough to be recruited.

But it was not enough. MYCO Entertainment chose some boy named Jungkook instead, and Tae-An was devastated.

Tears of frustration and anger leaked from her eyes, and she wiped them away quickly. She decided on taking a shower, maybe that would help her calm down.

And as she stood in the shower, shampoo in her hair, she had a brilliant idea. She grinned a sinister smile. Jungkook will pay for taking her spot.

In the dance studio the next morning, Tae-An couldn't help but feel giddy. She may have slipped some pink hair dye into a certain someone's shampoo last night. She couldn't wait to see him walk in with embarrassingly pink hair, and probably be dismissed because of the foolishness.

She kept looking at the door every time someone walked in, anticipating his arrival. But it was when she finished a stretch did she look up and see Jungkook.

It seemed like her heart stopped for a second and she tried to cover her shock. He looked gorgeous. Who knew that he could actually pull off pink hair! Her plan definitely backfired, he didn't look the least embarrassed.

At least maybe when the teacher walks in, he'll send him away, she thought.

As if on cue, the teacher entered the room, pausing in front of Jungkook.

"Nice hair, Jungkook," he said, nodding once, "I can see that you will be a great performer."

This time, Tae-An didn't even try to hide her surprise. This was not going the way she planned at all! It was at that moment Jungkook glanced back, looking straight into her eyes, and gave her a wink before turning back to the front.

She was fuming. She hated just how good he looked in pink. She hated how his hair impressed the teacher.

But what she hated the most was that her heart skipped a beat when he sent her that wink.
