Letters

(Song on top)
Just an average girl,
She always wore a smile. She was cheerful and happy, For a short while.
Miku Minori, Up until the day she turned 7, Was the happiest girl you would ever meet.
For on that day, Miku, At the age of 7, started a bad self-hate. This self-hate started because her suppose to be 'best friend' , Natsuki Riko , started to insult her about wearing
A dress her mum had given her when she woke up that morning.
It started with "Eww. Did you get that dress at the dump?" And ended at, "Miku is a fat pig! Miku is a fat pig!".

Now she's older, Things are getting colder.
Life's not what she thought, She wished someone had told her.
She told you she was down, and you let it slip by.
So from then on, She kept it on the inside.

Poor Miku tried and tried to talk to her mum, But her tiny, soft , voice could not be heard over the noise of the party. After a short while, She gave up and decide to try to enjoy herself.
But all the girls around her kept yelling, "Miku is a fat pig! Miku is a fat pig!" So much she couldn't take it and gave up on that too.

She told herself she was alright, But she was telling white lies.
Can you tell? Look in her dull eyes.
Tried to stop herself from crying almost every night,
But she knew there was not chance of feeling alright.

Years passed by, Until her last year, The year she turned 14.
Miku, had started to self-harm out of control, And today, The last day of school, She couldn't take it anymore.
So at 8 PM, She decided she would be taking her last moment.
The end of school bell rung, Miku and her friend , Saki Tamiko , came running out. Saki's short purple hair and Miku's long blue hair came flying out behind them. She giggled, "Come on Saki, Race you there!" Giggle Miku, Man was she good at faking.

Summer came by, All she wore was long sleeves.
'Cause those cuts on her wrists, Were bleeding through you see.
She knew she was depressed, didn't want to admit it.
Didn't think she'd fit in, everyone seemed to miss it.
She carried on like a soldier with a battle wound, Bleeding out from every cut her body consumed.

"Fine, Fine!" Whined Saki, Trying to catch up. But of course, There was no catching up with Miku, and she lost the race.
Not looking where she was going, Miku fell on the rough pavement.  "Miku! You ok?" Panted Saki, Catching up.

She had no friends at school, All alone she sat.
And if someone were to notice, She would blame the cat. All those cuts on her wrist, They were no mistake, But no one cared enough to save her from this self hate.

She smiled, "Yeah, I'm fine!" Said Miku happily, Brushing off her dusty pants.
Some how, Her sleeve seemed to move when she fell, And now, Ever so clearly, A long scar could be seen on Miku's wrist. "M-Miku! Your wrist!" Cried Saki.
Swiftly, Miku pulled down her long sleeve. "Oh! I'm sure I'm fine." She smiled as if it were a normal, small, Red mark. "B-But, We have to get you fixed up!" Before she could her Saki's words, She sprinted far off toward her house.

Things were going down, Never really up.
And here she was now, Stuck in this stupid rut. She knew exactly what she had to do next,
Stand on the chair , tie a rope around her neck. She wrote a letter with her hand shaking  wild   "Look at me now are you proud of your precious child?" . But she knew her
Parents weren't the ones to blame, It was the world that should bow down its head in shame.

The clock was ticking, Soon,  poor Miku knew what she had to do.
She sighed , She'd just finished the letter for her Mum and little sister. She did not have a dad anymore, He had died do to cancer. "I'm sorry..." Miku said quietly, Now knowing it was time.
Sighing, She'd gotten up from her desk, making her way to the small brown chair witch had  a
Tan rope, Ready for action.

She stood up on the chair and looked out at the moon,
'Just don't think, It'll be all over soon.'

She stood up on the chair, Her heart beating fast. 'I thought it'd never come to this, Natsuki." Thought Miku. Her hands were shaking, Her heart was breaking, The rope was around her neck.
I guess you know what happens next.

The chair fell down, As she took her final breathe.
It's all over, All gone, Now she's greeting death.

Now it was all over, Everything was all gone.

Her mum walks in, She falls down to the floor.
Nothing could take back what she just saw.
The little girl that she raised was just hanging there,
Her body's pale , and her face is violently bare.
She sees the note and unfolds it with care , All she does is stare, "How can this be fair?"

Miku's younger sister, About 9 years of age, Walks in. It's 5 seconds before she finds out what happened. She forced herself over to the note, She was sobbing and becoming pale.
Reading every word, She felt more and more guilty about what she just saw.

"I'm sorry mum but this world is just not my place, I've tried so long to fix this and fit in.
I've come to realize that this world's full of sin, There's nothing for me here,
I'm just a waste of space.
I've got no reason to stay here with this awful race.
It's a disgrace, I was misplaced.
Born in the wrong time, and  in the wrong place.
It's ok though, You'll see me soon,
You'll know when your time has come, Just look up at the moon.
As it shines bright, throughout the night and remember everyone's facing
Their own fights.
But I can't deal with this pain, I'm not a fighter.
You'll make it through the night, Just hug your pillow tighter.
So let the world know , that I died in vain,
'Cause the world around me, Is the one to blame.
And I know in a year , You'll forget I'm gone.
'Cause I'm not really something, To be dwelled on.
That's what they used to tell me, Those kids at school.
So I'm going by the law majority rules,
My presence on this earth isn't needed any longer.
And if anything, I hope this makes you stronger.
You're the best friend , I ever had.
Such a shame i had to make you, So very sad.
Just remember, You meant everything to me.
And to my heart, You're the only one who held the key.
Now it's time to go, I'm running out of space to write.
And yes I lost my fight, but please hold on tight.
Im watching over you, From clouds above.
And sending down the purest  and whitest dove.
To watch over you, And be my helpful eye.
So this is it world...
Goodbye!"
Her heart fell, She fell to her knees, "I-I need you... Don't leave me..." Quivering and shaking, She moved toward her sister, and patted her on the head , "I love you.." Suddenly, From behind her,
She felt something rub her back. Surprised, She looked behind her, Expecting her mum or someone like that. But instead, She was greeted by Miku's Angel, Hugging her.

"I love you too."

(1280 Words, Really proud.
