High Maintenance Relationship: Prologue
Princess Ryxe Lfyzenzia was anything but an ordinary person.
From the start of her day until nightfall, from the very moment of her soul's awakening until its eventual demise, her life was destined to be far removed from anything a commoner could dream of.
Ever since she enrolled in the most prestigious school the world had to offer, the vanity in her life had reached new heights. With the power of status and never-ending wealth at her fingertips, any vain dream or fleeting temptation of hers could become an inevitable reality.
Whether it was postponing a test, not bothering to give a damn about an exam, or wanting to change the entire infrastructure altogether—no matter what level of absurdity her mind could fantasize about, it could occur with the ease of breathing.
Her kingdom had its own patron goddess, but in her mind, their faces had long withered away into plain white dots in her memories because, to her and the world beside her, she was the only goddess they needed to look up to.
Blessed with azure golden-blue eyes and silver hair, with just the perfect build, now in her late teens, she was the spitting image of the heroines she used to fantasize about being in her childhood.
She was all that mattered wherever she happened to set foot, and in that vanity, she found incomparable joy. She could only imagine it being the most envious thing in the world for all who weren't her.
But there was a problem.
For a girl who had never heard a syllable of the word 'No,' the outright rejection of her club's advances by a transfer student was unthinkable. It was as if the heavens were finally ready to punish her with a catastrophe out of pure jealousy she could only imagine she had caused by her grand existence in the mortal realm.
She wouldn't have ordinarily cared about some clueless transfer student—they came like fleeting fleas and went like smitten bees. After all, it wasn't like the guy had seen her yet in all her unparalleled majestic beauty.
It was only natural for an angel to falsely diminish the light of a Holy God. Her club representatives must have omitted to tell him about who she was. That was the only possible answer realistically.
After all, there wasn't a man or woman in this world, save her dear sister, who could resist turning into her lapdog at the simple mention of her name.
Yes, Princess Ryxe Lfyzenzia was undeniable. Having spent seventeen years of her life like this, she had no reason to have faith in anything else.
