Here's my #100WordScream:

Family

Ernie was a baby left on the stairs of a convent. He didn't blame his mother. His twisted, humped back earned him the nickname "Quasimodo."

His life was lonely, house always empty. Unable to stand the rejection anymore, he sought refuge outside the city. The agent warned him about the King Street property, but he wasn't dissuaded.

Now Ernie looks forward to going home. He snuggles up with his ghost wife and ghost children on the sofa. He loves them, and they love him. They overlook his deformity, and to be fair, he overlooks the gaping holes in their chests.
