Rosemary and Josie
Rosemary. Gosh, I love Rosemary. I love hair curly brown hair. I love her big blue eyes. I love her heart warming smile. I love her laugh. She has the most beautiful laugh in the world.
She's the most beautiful girl in the world. Inside and out.
I love how she makes me feel loved.
I'm a girl. So, I'm a lesbian. I decided to come out that I was a lesbian in 8th grade. The first person I decided to tell was Jack. He was my best friend in eighth grade. I thought he wouldn't judge me, but he did.
When I told him, he had a shocked expression on his face. His brown eyes widened, and his hung wide open. He looked terrified.
"Hey, I'm not a monster. I'm a lesbian. There's a difference.", I said.
He just walked away. He never talked to me again.
I assume Jack told someone, because everyone in my school started bullying me.
"You're a lesbian??? What a freak!!!", some boy said.
That wasn't the worst thing someone said to me.
This was the worst one someone said to me: "Kill your self now. You don't deserve to live, faggot." , some girl said.
I wanted to die.
One day, I came home sobbing. My parents asked me what was wrong. I told them everything.
My mom sighed and said,"Dad and I didn't deserve to have a daughter who's a lesbian."
They both walked out of the room. I cried myself to sleep that night.
Then, one day, I was walking towards the park, and I accidentally bumped into a girl.
"Oh my god, I'm sorry.", I said. I then looked up. She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen.
"It's totally fine.", the girl said, "What's your name?"
"Uhhhh.....my name is Josie.", I said.
"My name is Rosemary. Nice to meet you, Josie.", she said and held out her hand for me to shake it. I shook it.
"Nice to meet you, Rosemary.", I said.
It's been two years and three months since that day. She's my girlfriend now.
I just can't stop thinking about her. She always makes me feel loved. I hope I make her feel loved, too.
Ring!!!
My phone rings in my pocket. I take it out of my pocket.
Rosemary's parents are calling me. I answer the call.
"Hello?", I say.
"Josie, this is an emergency. Rosemary has got her father's gun up to her head. She thinks that she doesn't deserve to live because she's a lesbian. She thinks that everyone hates her, but we love her. We really love her. We told her that, but she didn't listen. She still has a gun up to her head, and, thank god, she hasn't killed herself yet. Will you please come to our house and try to convince her that tons of people love her in this world?", Rosemary's mom said.
"Holy shit! I'll be right there.", I said. I hung up.
I sprinted out the door of my house and sprinted to Rosemary's.
I knocked on the door of Rosemary's house. Rosemary's parents opened it, and I ran over to Rosemary's room. I opened the door.
"DO NOT PULL THE TRIGGER!!", I yelled.
Rosemary has got tears running down her cheeks.
"I might have to pull the trigger.", she said.
"Rosemary, I LOVE YOU! Please don't do this.", I pleaded.
She still had the gun up to her head.
I sat down on her bed.
"Rosemary, I love you. Please don't do this. I love your brown curly hair. I love your big blue eyes. I love your smile. I love your laugh. But, most of all, I love your personality. I love your sweet personality. You came into my life when I needed you the most. I was getting bullied every single day. I was neglected by my parents when I told them I was a lesbian. I wanted to die in a hole. But then you came into my life. And I couldn't be more grateful to meet you. You made me happy. You made me want to keep on living. You made me feel loved when no one could. You mean a lot to me, Rosemary. Don't listen to what those assholes say about lesbians. They're idiots to ever bully you. I love you, Rosemary. You are the most beautiful girl alive.", I said.
Then, I kissed her.
She put down the gun.
