Surrounded by so many people, yet
No one noticed
the fake smiles
the fake laughs
or how tired you looked
the bags under your eyes
the tear stained face
or the dropping grades
the distant look
the longer sleeves
and if they did they didn't really care or want to talk about it "that's too depressing, lighten up"
