Note: Music above is not the actual video, just the casting call. The video is where I got this idea from. The video is also optional (You can choose to listen to it while reading or not listen to it). There will also be blood and gore in the following story
"Run, Flame! You have to get out of here!" The she-cat yowled, her body slowly being ripped to shreds by the dogs. A ginger and black tom stared down at her, his amber eyes wide with horror. The she-cat reached a paw out to him, tears rolling down her face.
"I can't leave you, Speckle!" he yowled, fear spiking off his pelt. The she-cat stared at him, her eyes beginning to glaze. Death was reaching her "Speckle!" he yowled, reaching one paw out to her, but he was too late.
Speckle was torn apart by the dogs, her eyes glazed wide open with fear. Blood splashed everywhere, some of it splashing on Flame's paws. He watched in horror as the dogs began to devour Speckle.
Tears rolled down his face, dread gripping his heart. The dogs paid no attention to him, giving him the perfect opportunity to escape. His paws, however, were frozen to the ground. He shook himself, forcing his paws to move.
He spun around, racing away from the scene. He ran back into the safety of the forest, making sure to get as far away as he could from the dogs. Suddenly, when he was only a short distance away from the dogs, he heard a chuckle echo through the forest.
Flame stopped, looking around. His eyes were still filled with fear, his fur spiked up "Who was that?" he demanded, his voice echoing. A shadow appeared on a tree, glaring at Flame. He flinched, whipping around.
A grey and white she-cat glared at him, the dogs from before standing beside her. Her green eyes glittered in the darkness, her paws covered in blood "Did you miss me?" she asked Flame, unsheathing her claws.
Flame stared at her, rage filling up inside him "You..." Flame growled, his teeth bared "You killed Speckle, didn't you?" he demanded, his ears flattening against his head. The she-cat smirked "And so what if I did?"
Flame's rage took over him and he yowled "You killed your own sister, Moss! You killed her!" The she-cat smiled, her gaze dark "She will never be my sister." Moss hissed, flicking her tail to the dogs.
The dogs began to move forward, their eyes dark and their teeth bloody. Flame's eyes widened and he shrunk back "And you will never be my brother." Moss added, the dogs charging at Flame. He shrieked and ran away.
He ran through the forest, the dogs racing right behind him. He could hear them barking at him. I can't outrun them! I'm going to die! He thought, fear rising up inside him once more. He looked around, hoping to find a way to escape.
But as he was looking, he tripped over a tree root. He tumbled over, laying flat on his side. He panted, trying to get up. His body felt suddenly bruised and he was too weak to get up. He whipped around, seeing the dogs catch up to him.
Moss was with them this time, her eyes dark and bloodthirsty "Moss! Please! Let me live! I'll do anything! I swear!" Flame pleaded. Moss smirked, letting out a blood chilling laugh "Oh brother. You don't understand, do you?"
Flame stared at her, confused about what she meant "It's too bad, really. You and Speckle could've lived with me if it weren't for her," Moss meowed, her tone frightening "W-what are you going to do to me?"
Moss scuffed "Kill you, of course." she responded. She nodded to the dogs and they lunged at him. Flame was too weak to escape and he was slowly torn apart by the vicious dogs. Moss stood over his lifeless body.
"Say hi to Speckle for me, will you?" Moss muttered to him, a smile on her face. Flame died at the paws of Moss, his eyes wide open and his mouth hanging. Moss turned away, the dogs staying at her side.
What did I tell you Flame? You all were going to die in the end anyways.
