The rain poured down on the windscreen, the vision of all the passengers blurred, but one seat was empty. The silence seemed like it could kill, it wasn't natural, not when she's gone. Her smile was still faintly imprinted on their minds, her laugh seeming to echo through the car, getting quieter each time as they feared they would forget. The man at the wheel seemed overly cautious as he slowed on the slippery streets, seeming to fear that he would loose control, just like her. They try so hard to remember the good times, and let the bad go, yet sometimes they wish they could forget everything then the void in their hearts would feel like it could be filled.

The car seemed to swerve more as the rain patted lightly on the roof. The mans eyes seemed to glaze over slightly as he remembered her, he tried to push her aside. The boy in the back wished that he could tell her sorry for all the things that he did, and just say that he loved her. The girl wished that she could have the comforting arms wrap around around her, just one more time. The car came to a halt and they got prepared to get out. They got the umbrellas ready as the door clinked open. Before it stopped. The sun came out and a mass of colours appeared in front of them. They all looked between each other and a ghost of a smile appeared on their faces. She wanted them to be happy, warmth flooded as the sun kissed their skin. The warmth seemed to fill the void as each of their hands linked in comfort and a smile grazed on their faces. There's a rainbow after every storm.

Yeah, I honestly don't know where this one came from or exactly what it's meant to be. We were supposed to have a theme in the story and I guess this one is defiantly up for interpretation. Hope you enjoy. 😋🌞
