"Let me go!" Drishti wriggled in Sunny's grip as Rakshit was being beaten inhumanely by the guards till he bled and couldn't stand on his feet.
"Leave her alone" In a stammering yet warning tone, Rakshit dropped the hint that he was in love with the same woman.
"She is my soon to be wife, so that should be none of your business. The replaced king" Sunny smirked.
His grip around Drishti's waist tightened. Ignoring all the cries of the innocent girl pushing her off him, he traced her jawline with his fingers before placing his finger on her lips.
All of this seen by Rakshit but being pushed to the grou d before he could get up, he was helpless.
"Let me go!" She yelled
"Sh! Calm down Drishti or else, this man won't see the evening" the continous movements to break free died as these words were said.
Eyes widened in fear looked back at Sunny before shifting to Rakshit who was lying half dead on the ground, watching her struggle in the arms of the intruder.
"No" she whispered before Sunny hugged her and rubbed her back, trying to act like he was consoling her out of genuine care.
"Its okay darling. I won't kill him right now. He has to be alive to see his kingdom being in my control and his soon to be queen be my wife" the words made Rakshit make another attempt at standing but pushed to the ground yet again by the cruel guards.
"Stop! Please!" She cried as she heard Rakshit's scream and kept her hands on Sunny's shoulders to request him to stop. "Don't hurt him, please"
"Aw! As you say my life" he smiled before wrapping his arm around her and kissing her forehead "If you promise to be obedient and be my queen without any drama, I might let him live"
"Drishti, no" he yelled.
A kick from the guards made him scream but Drishti couldn't see it since she was hugging Sunny. But the sound of his painful pleas made her shrink against the dreadful man.
"Please don't hurt him. I'll do whatever you way" she cried.
There was no other way she could save him and if marrying Sunny meant Rakshit's life, let it be.
"I'll marry you"
"Fine" he smirked before putting his arm around her waist and turning to leave. "Put him in the dungeons. Let him rot there for a while before he comes to our wedding this evening"
The sudden proclamation left the two lovers in shock. They couldn't accept the conquest and the further events were happening at a speed that made it even harder.
That evening Drishti was dolled up as a bride. For another man.
The marriage that she always dreamed of was a nightmare of her today. Her love was in the dungeons, being brought to the marriage hall while she stood with Sunny, ready for the ceremony and watching all the uppercasts on their knees in front of them.
The lower or the outcasts sitting like royalty and cheering for Sunny who made it possible for them to reach that stage.
As their former king was brought to the avenue with chains hanging around and guards pointing guns at him, the upper casts cried for lives.
"Gentleman, shall we begin the ceremony?" Asked the priest.
Sunny happily nodded, ignoring the cries of the two lovers standing at the verge of the cliff of separation. If she stepped back from this love, Rakshit was sure to fall off and loose his life, living as a lifeless man for the rest of his life.
"Don't" he signaled her but she just cried.
"Do you, Sunny Malhotra take Drishti Sharma as your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do"
"Do you, Drishti Sharma take Sunny Malhotra as your lawfilly wedded husband?"
"I-" she closed her eyes before her tears fell to the ground but let those not be her weakness. "Do not!"
The next moment what everyone saw was beyond their expectations. A knife was plunged in his stomach that disappeared as if absorbed by his body. Sunny fell to his knees before paralysis took him over and he laid on the floor, unconscious but not dead.
It was among the technology that she had stolen from the royal courtroom an hour ago. The knife allowed one to paralyze the person whom it was attacked with without the actaul death of the person.
"Sunny!" The guards screamed but beforw any action was taken on their behalf, the glove from his hand was snatched and used to freeze everyone in the room except Rakshit.
"Rakshit" she yelled before running to him and kneeling down in front of him. "Are you okay?" She cried.
"Wasn't. But now" he smiled "I am"
She laughed in tears seeing him okay and using the power of the glove, let him free. He fell into her arms after being recovered by the glove itself and kissed Drishti after relief of getting her back took over him. "I love you"
"I love you too" she whispered.
The next moment they unfroze everyone and took the defaulters from both the classes under custody. Despite the fact that the upper casts hated the outcasts, they agreed on accepting Drishti as their queen after what she did for them.
The decision of merging the two areas kf human civilization was passed and the class system was banished. Anyone who practiced it would face serious issues.
Sunny was given the task of taking care of the royal animals and clean their waste.
The next month, the two married.
The kindgom flourished under their rule and it got more glorified under the unity that came.
"Thats not fair" Rakshit cried like a child "You love these toys more than me"
The king who never listened to anyone was begging for his wife's love and attention.
"They are cute. Not my fault that you aren't" she shrugged her shoulders.
"I'll tell you who is the cutest" saying this, he pulled her into his lap and started tickling her.
"You're the worst!"
Her melodious laughter filled the room and the voice that got outside, made everyone passing their room smile.
Despite the differences between them, they stood by each other and won.
Finally! I completed it :)
