"Excuse me, sir?" Janie asked the man sitting on one of the benches scattered throughout the theme park. She pulled lightly at the end of her scratchy skirt which was part of her uniform. The costume was made to look like a flight attendant, part of the airplane ride to the front of her park. "Would you mind terribly following me?"

"Certainly." He said with a Russian accent. He said something in a different language to the blonde woman he was sitting next to and kissed the little girl who was eating cotton candy happily next to her mother lightly on the head.

Janie lead him to one of the employee exits which was hidden behind a bush so it was out of the way of the crowd of people. She held it open for the man, locking it after he was inside, and lead him to a large room where the lights were dim.

"What is this about?" He asked, reaching inside of his suit jacket, most likely gripping some sort of fire arm. "Why have you taken me here?"

"You tell me . . . Sir Ranco." Janie said, ripping off the wig she'd been wearing and pulling a pistol of her own out which had been hidden inside her flight attendant jacket.

"Janie Faldonia." He cursed under his breath. "I should have known."

"Yeah." She chuckled. "You should have." She pointed the gun at him. "Now tell me where you're harboring James, you filthy monster."

"If I do, will you leave Lissett and Sophia out of this?" He was reffering to his wife and daughter.

"I'll make that decision when I get my fiancé back." She growled, tensing her gun arm. "Now where is he?"

"Swear that you'll at least leave my beautiful Lissett out of all this. She's to young to be caught up in our vendetta."

"My fiancé, Ranco." The woman hissed. "Where is he?"

Victor Ranco pulled his arm out from his jacket. For a second Janie thought that it was a gun and prepared for a showdown. Instead it was a small device, about the size of a cellular phone. He showed her the screen which had a blinking light on a map of Europe.

"Schovitch has a tracking device on him. This will take you to him. If you swear to keep our fight in between the two of us then it's yours."

Janie stood there, looking at the device. Was it worth it? Sophia and Lissett were her only leverage against Ranco. And he knew that Janie Foxx was a woman of her word. If she promised that they would be safe then they were safe.

But then she thought of the last time she'd seen James. It was months ago. He was in a Bulgarian military complex, the life almost beaten out of him. He had been so helpless against Victor's goons, tied to a pole with his hands wrapped securely. Blood was oozing from the giant scar on his left shoulder blade he'd received in Hungary with Jamie when they'd tried to stop one of Ranco's battleships from hitting a small beach village. She'd gotten a similar scar that ran up and down her right arm. It had long since healed and been stitched but there was still a white line on her tanned skin.

And she thought of Lissett. In a strange way the little girl reminded Jamie of herself. They were both innocent girls who'd been raised by very, very bad people. She didn't want the little girl with the cotton candy to wind up like her. A woman caught in the middle of a war that had been going on for years. That sweet little girl deserved a bright future, one where she had a normal childhood.

"I swear. Lissett and your wife will be safe from me." She promised, lowering her gun and raising her red hand.

Victor tossed her the device and she caught it. She placed it in one of the pockets in her irritating skirt. "Thank you for your cooperation." She smiled sweetly and started walking out of the large room but stopped in the doorway. "Oh, and Ranco?"

"Yes?" He asked, adjusting the dark shades on his pale face.

"If you're lying, about where James is, I will not rest until I find you and your family. And know this. There is nowhere on this planet that you can hide that I won't find you. You can't escape me, Victor. So I'll give you a second to remember anything left I need to know."

"You have your fiancé's location. Just go find him already."

Janie nodded curtly. "Enjoy the rest of your day at Wild Adventure Kingdom." She said to her enemy before disappearing behind the door.

"Come here, Kari." She cooed, taking her long black hair from the bun she'd pinned it in to keep it hidden under the blonde wig. "Who's a good girl? Who's a good girl?" The giant grey wolf came bounding into the control room of the small ship, pouncing on top of Janie.

"We're gonna go find James and Pokkie should be with him and then the two of you can play together again." Janie was reffering to James' pet fox, Pokkie.

Kari howled in excitement and licked Janie's face.

Janie took the device from her jacket and attached a cord to it that connected to the giant computer she'd installed to the nav system.

"Megana, get directions to these locations." She spoke into a microphone.

"Janie," The ship responded over a loudspeaker that crackled with each sylabel. "It is a three day journey to Russia. Are you sure we can make it that far?"

"With the fuel we have we can make it to Spain from here. Plan for a stop there and then we'll continue on our way."

"Making adjustments. One moment." There was a short pause as Janie watched the computer screen which showed a route from Orlando, Florida to Spain and then Russia. "Setting course to Cadiz, Spain."

The ship hummed to life Janie reclined her seat, running her hand through Kari's fur.

"See you soon, James."
