ALL IN VAIN
"It's been a really long year" Amit said as the train slowed down to a stop at the National Junction. "C'mon , it's time for a holly-jolly holidayyyyyy" Ryan said as he picked up his luggage and made his way to get down from the train.
"Yes, I've been looking forward for this trip, let's enjoy and relax ourselves". Amit mumbled as he picked up his own luggage and got down from the train.
The two boys were amazed at the beauty of the hill-station they just arrived at. The open sky, the beautiful flowers, An art of nature, was a sight to their sore eyes which got used to seeing the walls of their hostel room and their class room for one full year.
The boys were dumb-struck in awe as they eyed the trees that were green from head-to-toe. While the thick canopies hid the branches, the bushes and climbers covered the bark. Making the trees look all-green.
Oh! It was indeed a sight to sore eyes !
They made their way to a local inn where they pre-booked their rooms. After spending some quality time admiring the view from the Inn's terrace and through their room windows and a quick lunch, they decided to take a stroll and came back exhausted.
The next day they went to yet another stroll in the busy streets of the ever-lively market. They opened Google Maps and went to the places marked in there.
After a few hours of strolling, they found a note in Amit's pocket.
It read:
The two buys spent half-an-hour trying to decode the note and nearly wet themselves laughing when they realised that they were holding the note up-side down and the note was written in simple english
(what are u still doing people? yes-yes....u who is reading this story, tilt your phones and read the note oof)
Imagine their excitement when their dumb-minds captured the fact that they were in a place called S.E. CAVES!!!!
They scouted the whole area and were extremely excited when they found a chest that had the same symbol on it that adorned the four corners of the note.
Ryan's father was a locksmith, so using the knowledge and skill he had learnt from him father, he opened the box quite easily.
But their happiness and excitement, as a bright candle, did not last for long.
They found that the treasure was worth 50 Crores!!!
But, it was all in liquid cash, and that too in 1000 rupee notes!!
Sadly, Sree Narendra Modi's government has banned 1000 rupee notes in India
They returned home sadly, cursing the advent of Demonitisation all through their journey back home.
